21/09/2024: Cena in famiglia. Cibo di bassa qualità dall'antipasto al dolce e speso tanto. Una banale pasta al pomodoro rimandata indietro perché stracarica di aglio e fatta pagare. Sconsigliato ..... mai più.

16/02/2025: The location of the hotel is perfect, you can reach the center of Porto Venere with a 10 minute walk. Sea-facing room with large panoramic window and balcony with chairs and table. Unfortunately, however, the window curtains were thin and at dawn we woke up with the sun inside the room, making it impossible to continue resting. They have included earplugs among the gadgets in the room but not the mask... a questionable choice given that the curtains are almost useless. In the room there was an unpleasant smell rising from the toilet and drains. Let's come to breakfast: plentiful but not adequate for a 4 star hotel, but what was really annoying, we started at 9.30, the time breakfast was served was by 10, at 10.05 they started taking away the buffet while we were still eating... I'll start by saying that, being February, there were 2 couples in the whole room, so not exactly a crowd. After having removed everything, having probably noticed our disappointment, the waiter came to the table to tell us that, since breakfast time had been over for 5 minutes and they had to clear the table, after having actually already taken away the entire buffet, he was asking us "do you want more something before I bring it away?"... It seemed like a joke. It's a shame because the night before they had been kind to serve us a glass of wine at the bar even though we had arrived shortly after the official closing time.

26/12/2024: Best hotel of Porto Venere. Convenient for parking, for location to access to the ferries, restaurants etc nice breakfast and polite staff

11/01/2025: Non c'è altro da dire: il meglio! Uno staff davvero gentile ed accogliente. Dico solo che abbiamo avuto grossi problemi con il parcheggio ed il titolare ci ha aiutato offrendoci una soluzione e soprattutto non dando via il tavolo, nonostante il nostro ritardo. Menù di pesce molto qualitativo e piatti moderni e gustosi. Prezzo molto onesto Grande ristorante

05/01/2025: Piccolo ristorante con solo 5 tavoli, servizio gentile e premuroso. La frittura era ottima e leggera. Calcolate di spendere minimo 35/40€ a persona con i primi da 15€ i secondi da 17€ un calice di vino a 8€. Prezzi medio alti ma Portovenere e’ molto turistico e comunque direi giustificati dalla qualita’

02/02/2025: Friends lunch: SUCCESS! Has been a pleasure for the palate being there. The food was great and the atmosphere too. Grab yourself a exquisite meal and enjoy the surroundings.

30/12/2024: High quality products. With freshly caught fish. Dishes that leak search for something new and lighter with excellent results. The mixed starter in six mini portions is beautiful. Excellent catch of the day. The desserts are also good... the brownies are very nice. Service (a gentleman...I think his name was Marco) very attentive and willing to listen to requests. The cutlery and the different types of dishes are also very nice (perfect for the individual type of dish). I will definitely go back (even if this wasn't the first time) and being close enough I will choose a quiet weekday to enjoy the food even more and the advice of restaurateurs. Prices appropriate to the place, the food offered and the service.

26/12/2024: We are in Portovenere and with this premise we could delude ourselves. We found a sad, old and decidedly not clean place. Then we move on to the most painful point: a fixed menu that is very expensive for the food offered, but even more serious without specifying the type of fish, for example. I avoid talking about the appetizer (merciless), for the pappardelle with redfish instead not seasoned at all and I add one of the fish (although good) among the least expensive so as not to justify the bill. As for the second course, with a fish not specified in the menu, from the color you could think of salmon but since there is no flavor that could identify it I can assume that it was something frozen. And finally, for dessert, a mousse, which despite finding it perhaps the only course I would save had nothing to do with Christmas. Avoid if you can!
