08/09/2025: Nice little pizzeria. The pizzas are very large and taste perfect. Excellent service. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

11/08/2025: I wrote a good review last year, but I absolutely have to reevaluate it after several incidents. It's happened more than once that ingredients were missing, often including the potatoes found on many types of pizza, forcing me to change them every time. The worst thing, which shows disrespect towards the customer, is that if ingredients are missing, they always charge the same price. In fact, in my case, for a simple substitution of ingredients—I specify substitution, NOT addition—they charged me more, and we're talking about arugula (which costs much less) instead of mozzarella. A single euro more or less doesn't enrich anyone, but it shows respect and honesty towards a customer. Sometimes you can lose your way over a few pennies and simple gestures, even if the frequent lack of ingredients is no small matter.

04/03/2026: If this pastry shop is considered a local excellence, I believe that its patrons should start venturing out of their own territory and experience what it truly means to make HIGH-QUALITY pastry. Let them go to the SOUTH, where the ingredients are often of the highest quality and where the owners are often HUMBLE and GENEROUS! Or let them go to the NORTH, where quality comes at a price, but at least we're talking about TRUE quality! Here, you only pay—and very dearly—for MEDIOCRITY! Perhaps there's a parallel universe in which, when you pay 7 euros for a pastry, you can expect something mediocre! But in my universe, if I pay 7 euros for a pastry, I expect it to be PERFECT! For the record, I bought an assorted tray of pastries: barely adequate whipped cream, rubbery choux pastry (those Brussels sprouts in cream were from the day before, I think), gelatinous and "artificial" custard of a truly subpar quality, adequate Chantilly cream, mediocre cannoli. To be honest, I must also say that I found the Sicilian cannoli and sfogliatelle to be decent. The cannoli, on the other hand, disappointed me, as did the zeppole, which were "supermarket deli" quality. Otherwise, I found the service courteous and the atmosphere refined. But, dear Arcolani, wake up!

07/02/2026: Honestly, a €10 bugellato filled with jam costs €35 in total, €25 of jam seems really a lot to me...as if it were golden jam...

30/12/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, excellent pizza and farinata, friendly service, and very fair prices. Definitely worth a try.

18/12/2025: ...and once again, it was a pleasure to eat your pizza!!!! The farinata was also excellent. The best in the province. Well done, well done, well done.

07/03/2026: We often order pizza and enjoy it at home. There's a wide selection of ingredients and flavors. The dough is excellent and light. I love having the pizza bianca made with broccoli rabe and scamorza cheese. The staff is friendly, and despite their busy schedule, they're always smiling. The prices are fair.

26/10/2025: Had a cappuccino with chocolate hazelnut ice cream instead of cake or pie. After a long bike ride, climbing, screeching, and beautiful distant views, and refueled on the terrace in the square. Friendly people, inside it was full of local Italians over 60. We're Dutch too, by the way :-).

29/09/2025: Authentic place to have a coffee, eat a brioche or a sandwich and be treated with the same friendly and fast service as the locals, and pay a fair price.

14/03/2026: We had really good pizza. Made quickly and were able to take it to where we were staying. Very friendly and welcoming!

30/01/2026: As a Ligurian, calling what we were served farinata is a real insult. More than farinata, it tasted like a poorly made chickpea pudding, with an indefinable consistency—raw, tasteless, without even a trace of rosemary. Unfortunately, the situation didn't improve with the pizzas: the dough was completely raw, just like the farinata. Two farinatas and two pizzas, both inedible. An experience so bad it seemed like something out of Kitchen Nightmares. I'm sorry to say it, but this is far from the minimum standards for a pizzeria, especially in Liguria.
