24/09/2023: Amazing place, we stayed in Santa Margherita The Imperial, which is less congested than Portofino. We took a water taxi and then took the hotel shuttle up to Hotel La Splendido.
The whole experience is 5 star plus.
Food and wine was excellent.
18/09/2023: We return to Italy every year and always include lunch at La Terrazza. We’ve stayed at the hotel twice. Always a spectacular experience…until this visit. We brought a dear friend because we wanted her to have a great experience, too. Our lunch was mediocre at best. My risotto was undercooked and the octopus was tough and tasteless. Our guest was unimpressed. As usual the presentation was beautiful but the taste was lacking. The waitstaff were attentive at first and then became busy and distracted. A woman at a nearby table had to be disciplined by the staff for moving around the restaurant loudly talking/videoing with a friend. Our €350 (for 3) lunch was very disappointing. Maybe next year…

24/01/2024: Charming spot directly across the street from the Ventimiglia train station. We ordered some drinks and were delighted by the complimentary assortment of snacks. Prompt and friendly service from the waiter who also gave us tips on Italian language pronunciation on our first visit to Italy.

28/01/2024: Very nice place, very welcoming environment and staff.
Selection of wines that are nothing short of excellent, it is clear that they have great experience.
They also added the kitchen and we had aubergine parmigiana and gnocchi, both delicious.
Average prices.

01/04/2024: I do not recommend this restaurant. The meal we see was frozen. We asked for extra fries, but there weren't any because he hadn't organized in advance as the supermarkets are closed on public holidays. Salad served without condiments, we had to ask for salt and oil. Wine not of good quality. We paid too much for what it was

It is also generally of excellent quality compared to the Italian average.
All homemade and, for those who want, you can also drink a coffee or cappuccino even if it's not a bar.
Each product is made with care, the prices are excellent and the assortment is vast.
Fantastic!
