03/06/2025: La ubicación es agradable. A pesar de que hice una reserva dos semanas antes de que nos sentáramos en una mesa bajo el sol, pedimos también sentarse en una mesa cercana, pero nos dijeron que es una mesa para tres. Pocos minutos después una pareja sin ninguna reserva se sentó allí. La señora gerente / propietario a cargo era muy grosero y desagradable. El servicio y la comida eran promedio, la relación calidad-precio era baja, incluso para Portofino.

27/05/2025: Después de dos comidas anteriores decepcionantes en Portofino, buscamos el restaurante más inteligente con el menú más imaginativo, en una ubicación fabulosa, para disfrutar realmente de nuestra última noche en este hermoso pueblo. O’Magazin marcó todas las casillas y nos sentamos junto al agua con personal amable, buen vino (a 20€ por copa) y una deliciosa cesta de pan con aceite. Estábamos emocionados de que nuestra comida llegara. Y entonces los buenos tiempos terminaron. Tal vez deberíamos haber adivinado cuando no nos preguntaron cómo se cocinaría el bistec. El filete llegó nadando en una cantidad ridícula de salsa y acompañado de nada ni siquiera adorno. Así que rápidamente pedimos un poco de fritas que llegaron rápidamente y apenas cubrieron el fondo del plato. El filete estaba tan duro que raspamos la salsa para mirarlo y estaba gris, casi nacarado. Con retrospectiva deberíamos haber enviado de vuelta, pero en realidad estábamos tratando de tener una experiencia gastronómica satisfactoria. Mis propios medallones de atún también fueron asfixiados en salsa / aceite con tomates y aceitunas. El atún estaba demasiado cocido y había reposado demasiado tiempo antes de ser servido. Ninguno de los dos hizo ningún progreso con nuestra comida y pagó la cuenta y se fue. El personal sonriente y alegre y la hermosa ubicación no compensaron la peor comida que he encontrado. La factura era escandalosa con frituras a 12€ por persona. Acepto que debería haberme quejado mientras estaba en el restaurante, pero la mala comida en Portofino me había desgastado. Al día siguiente la ciudad se redimió en Portofino Bistro, casi al lado de O’Magazin y estoy feliz de darle una crítica fabulosa.

18/06/2025: Terrible service, highly priced at €180 for a simple lunch for 4 with just water. Refused to give a breakdown of the bill when asked, and demanded a cash tip even though the menu said a 15% service charge was already included! I just wish I’d seen these reviews before we dined here. There are so many other restaurants here, avoid this one!!!!

15/06/2025: ....un posto meraviglioso dove si respira il gusto del pesce verace....tutto accompagnato dal calore di uno staff incredibile....fatto di gentilezza e sorrisi....se si arriva in piazzetta a Portofino non si può non mangiare da Zara e Gianluca....tutto ottimo... cibo vino location e la simpatia dei loro camerieri capitanati dal Mitico Fabio Spaghetti... Top e grazie x tutto...😘😘🥂🥂

02/06/2025: Terrible experience, shame because the focaccia is not bad, even if absolutely not good enough to cost so much, I say shame because the lady is very rude and offensive in her ways, but I already find it expensive like this, trying to make me pay twice for the product does not seem elegant to me. I am not surprised by the reviews read In Portofino the other traders describe it very well, so I am not the poor thing. Never again.

04/05/2025: We bought a small fruit tart and a donut here. They were both very tasty!

29/06/2025: Nice service, tasty food, authentic ambience. It is however a tourist trap, 12€ per bottle of water (750ml). Small portions and outrageous prices, the seating alone cost my group 40€

25/06/2025: Prices are crazy! 40€ for a pizza and 48€ for 2 drinks! 12€ for a bottle of water. Plus don’t forget the service. Total 112€ for almost nothing. The most expensive place I’ve ever been too. Ridiculous! They also don’t have a menu for pizza so you don’t even know the price beforehand! Disappointed

03/06/2025: The food was great, I really enjoyed my pesto pasta and the view is unbeatable. The staff are very kind. The only problem for me were the prices, I spent almost 50€ on lunch for one person. Pasta was 23€, water was 8.50€, and a Coca Cola was 10€. And there was a surcharge of around 6€. It was a little more expensive than I think it’s worth, but honestly not bad. Again, the food was great and the view was amazing, youre just in a touristy area 🤷‍♀️

09/06/2025: If only we'd seen the reviews here beforehand! From the outside, the place looks unassuming and ordinary. You even have to search for the correct name, so be careful not to end up here by mistake. They sell frozen pizza for €9! The portions are tiny. The entire menu is translated into English, except for the note at the bottom that the dishes are made from frozen foods. They're deliberately trying to rip off tourists. In response to the criticism, the waitress replied that it's a bar, not a restaurant. Considering that their main business isn't supposed to be food, there's quite a selection. All the dishes were equally disappointing.

08/06/2025: It's a cute place and the food is very good, but service is incredibly slow and disorganized. I ordered a pesto pasta, the waiter told my father who ordered a bruschetta that his dish wasn't available and he got gnocchi instead, but when she brought our food it turned out my dish was the one unavailable and my father got his bruschetta just fine. The gnocchi was good but I would've liked the option to pick what to have as a replacement. In general the server seemed to avoid our table several times, and getting anything at all was very slow (our food arrived before our drinks and only after we reminded them a couple times). There's better places to visit.

24/06/2025: I rarely leave reviews, but this place absolutely deserves the warning. From the moment we walked in, the staff acted like we were an inconvenience. No greeting, no smile—just an annoyed look and a rushed “what do you want?” We ordered basic dishes, thinking it would be hard to mess up. Wrong. The food arrived cold, bland, and honestly looked like it had been sitting out all day. The pasta was soggy, the chicken was dry and flavorless, ? When we politely asked if the food could be reheated, the server rolled their eyes and walked away without a word. No apology. No fix. Just plain rude. To top it all off, the place was dirty—sticky tables, unclean utensils, and an odd smell lingering in the air. Save your money and your stomach. There are far better options out there that don’t treat paying customers like a burden.

24/06/2025: Absolutely unacceptable experience. I had a serious allergic reaction after eating a dish that didn’t list all its ingredients specifically one I’m allergic to. The menu made no mention of it, and I only found out after I had already eaten part of the meal. When I explained the situation politely to the waiter and asked for the dish to be removed from the bill, I was met with complete arrogance and refusal. On top of that, the food was bland, and carelessly made. Not worth it even without the drama. I left feeling sick, disrespected, and shocked at how a restaurant could handle something as serious as an allergy with such negligence and hostility. Avoid this place at all costs, especially if you have any dietary restrictions. Completely unprofessional and dangerous.
