Eight Restaurant

14/06/2025: Amazing dining experience! Went for lunch multiple days and stayed at the Eight hotel so were often patrons of the beach club as well. Bilal made our experience truly amazing though. He was attentive, friendly, respectful, funny, entertaining and truly the best server we have ever had, even at our home in the United States! We will always cherish the restaurant and beach club at 8 Paraggi because of Bilal. Best server and service ever. Our whole family loves him!
12/06/2025: Very nice place on the nicest beaches next to Portofino. We spend 3 days going same beach and trying each day new place - about this place I could say that staff, esp manager definitely makes this place enjoyable despite high prices (of course it’s Portofino). We came for dinner and I would recommend this place for a quite ambience, good wine selection and I got wish menu would be slightly bigger as choices quite limited

07/06/2025: Daily pasta was delcious, house wine is smooth and good as it has to be, we liked mussels. Calamari was soft. Portofino cream was really good. People are friendly and kind for a family of four. Prices are according to Portofino but we left the trattoria really satisfied and happy , i was not expecting such a perfect classic Italian experience. Thanks 🙏

13/06/2025: Comimos en el Bagni Fiore en la playa de Portofino. El precio es para todo el día o después de 2. Agua y zumo ligero de cortesía. Ordenó la ensalada griega y Margarita ambas vegetarianas. ¡Qué delicioso!
09/05/2025: Although we hadn't booked on what was a very busy evening, they kindly accommodated us. Delightful restaurant with a wonderful bay 'window' area looking over the canal for two couples lucky enough to experience. Food absolutely next level, served by highly knowledgeable and expert team. Worth every Euro.

27/06/2025: That waiter on the right just said that place is busy and fully booked until 15:30pm because he was so busy to talk to his friend but couple before us just took their place and he gave menu to them without any reservations. And there was just two tables taken by other people. If you won’t replace that waiter you will loose a lot of profit for your restaurant. He was so happy and laughed near the bar until he saw that I made video of him laughing to his friend that he is not busy to work.
27/06/2025: One of the least expensive places in Portofino. Everything was delicious, the service was nice and good. Didn't have to wait long. Quite quiet and cozy

23/05/2025: We added a special stop on our honeymoon to visit this restaurant because we love the Denver, Colorado location and it did not disappoint! This was easily the best meal we had during our 12 day trip in Italy and the dishes we had were extremely unique compared to cuisines in the other regions we visited. The port-side seating lends to truly beautiful views, especially in the evening. We definitely recommend making reservations because it was fully booked when we went on a Saturday night (which goes to show how great the food is!)

17/06/2025: 37 euros for a salad & 2 cokes. Our caprese salad was much better yesterday in a small village for less than half the price, We had to ask for lemon 3 times. Hard to get a small from the staff.

28/05/2025: El bar como el escenario perfecto frente a la entrada del puerto de Portofino. Este no es el lugar más barato, pero el ajuste compensa los precios. Tuvimos una buena selección de bocadillos servidos con un buen vino local, el servicio era excelente
21/03/2025: Ho accompagnato un amico americano a visitare Portofino. Ci siamo fermati casualmente: io non bevo vino ma il mio amico era intrigato dalla location. Mi hanno accontentata anche se sono astemia con un’ottima acqua tonica servita con un piattino a base di culatello, salame, formaggi, focaccia e una vista unica! Molto soddisfatto il mio amico che il giorno dopo è stato a Venezia e non ha trovato nulla di suo gradimento. Si era abituato bene! Molto garbato, gentile e discreto il servizio. Consiglio vivamente.

We chose the Primavera tasting menu to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and from the very first bite, it was clear: this was going to be something special.
Chef Mattia Pecis developed a seasonal and innovative culinary experience full of deep thoughtfulness. The menu featured dishes with fresh ingredients sourced from the restaurant's garden that combined elegance with unexpected elements.
The standout? A mille-feuille dessert made with seaweed. The combination of unique flavors and strong presentation created a breathtaking experience that thrilled us completely.
Our culinary journey started with a letdown at a 3-Michelin-star restaurant in Florence but concluded perfectly here. Our long-awaited 'wow' moment materialized at Cracco Portofino.
The chef enhanced the birthday surprise by adding his personal signature to our menu which created a classy and memorable moment.
It’s not just about food, it’s an experience. One we’ll never forget.

01/06/2025: Tuve el Portofino fizz por 28 e y el menú de tres platos por calle y mar por 95 e. No me dieron una gran mesa, pero me dejaron cambiar mi reserva, que aprecio. Situado en la terraza de un hotel Belmond en el puerto, es un entorno exclusivo.
El bouche divertido de atún y los espaguetis de anchoa eran excelentes. No me gustó que me hicieran ponerme un delantal para comer la pasta. Presumiblemente, lo hicieron porque se sirve en un tazón grande de metal con más salsa que fideos. El postre era tiramisú que era lo suficientemente agradable. Si volviera a ir elegiría un menú diferente ya que la entrada y el postre no eran originales. Trajeron 2 rondas de petite forte después de la cena, que eran encantadoras.

Et bien une fois de plus c était parfait, pour moi le restaurant mérite une étoile,
J ai beaucoup apprécié les recommandations de la personne en charge de notre table et qui faisait l effort de parler français.
Nous reviendrons.

20/06/2025: The restaurant has great food and great service!!! The place looks great but the only problem is it’s too packed up, I mean the tables are TOO close to each other.
20/06/2025: People complaining about the prices at Puny must think they’re in a beach shack somewhere in rural Italy—not in Portofino, one of the poshest places in the country. This isn’t your local pizzeria in a tiny village—it’s Puny, the iconic spot right on the harbor. Expecting a €10 pasta here is like walking into Chanel and asking for a discount on a handbag. I also assume those people haven’t been to places like St. Tropez, St. Moritz, Ibiza, or Mykonos—where prices are often MUCH higher.
For where you are and what you get, I think it’s more than fair. The food? Classic Ligurian and seriously delicious. The staff? Super sharp and genuinely kind—we had a gluten-intolerant child with us, and they handled it with incredible care and attention. The owner is out-going and entertaining, and then there’s my favorite: Renato! So kind, and impressively fluent in many languages.
I’ve personally seen Madonna, Diane von Fürstenberg and Jeff Bezos here. I have friends who stop with their boats in Portofino only to have lunch at Puny. This place is basically where celebrities and foodies casually enjoy their “Pappardelle Portofino.”
If you want the real Portofino experience—amazing food, top-tier people-watching, and a taste of glam—Puny is the place.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, casual dinner… this isn’t your spot. Simple as that.
PS: If I could only give one advice: a few more healthy and interesting vegetarian options would be wonderful and very much appreciated!

20/02/2025: Pranzato all’estero, con una splendida giornata di sole e vista sulla baia di Portofino. Ho preso un ottimo piatto di tagliatelle ( le trenette non le avevano ) al pesto di Portofino. Il servizio veloce, personale cordiale. Alto il prezzo dei piatti che però è in linea con quello degli altri locali di Portofino e viene sicuramente ricompensato dalla location.
15/02/2025: La cuisine est bonne mais les assiettes ne sont pas assez copieuses surtout pour le prix. 45€ pour un plat de pâtes, on s’attend à une qualité et quantité supérieure.
