The fried meat and seafood is always excellent and dry, the first courses are excellent, ravioli and pansoti are top notch, the fish always good. It's certainly not a place for a master chef, but if I go out to eat and find a clean, tidy, welcoming place with excellent value, I'll go back. Reading many reviews, I'm amazed. If you want a chic, modern place and want to spend 100 euros, go elsewhere. If you want to eat well in a setting that may be a bit retro but is clean and well-kept, this is the place for you. Kudos also to all the staff for their helpfulness and friendliness. If you sometimes have to wait a bit, be patient. They don't have a fast food sign outside.

18/02/2026: What a shame, really. An excellent culinary offering, featuring all the signature dishes of Ligurian cuisine, was literally thrown away due to the disorganization in the dining room and the resulting biblical waits before being served. I've been to this restaurant several times in the same week because I was staying in Chiavari for personal reasons. Whether it was a busy weekend or a quiet weekday, the common denominator has always been the slow service: a plate of ravioli, a veal cutlet with chips, and a dessert served in an average of an hour and a half. It's a shame, because the price is also highly competitive. The waiter is also smart and fast, but the problem clearly lies between him and the kitchen. I can't explain it any other way. Anyway, I repeat, in case you haven't figured it out, the food is very good.

In my opinion, it's absolutely worth it. A historic venue worth preserving and promoting, highly recommended both for those passing through Chiavari and for those looking for a refined break in a truly special place. A 5-star experience.

23/11/2025: Not good My daughter is lactose intolerant, and despite our comments, there was cheese on her plate. I recommend you reconsider your vegetarian option because it was inedible, a thousand ingredients thrown into the piadina, tasteless and lacking any flavor. Impeccable service.

02/05/2026: The atmosphere isn't fancy...but it's full of substance. The pasta dishes are generous and flavorful, with a delicate, homemade flavor. The fried food is delicious. Highly recommended.

12/06/2026: Embarrassing! Pizza with buffalo mozzarella, made on a frozen base and with buffalo mozzarella, of dubious origin, that didn't taste like buffalo mozzarella. I asked for a coffee (I was the only one there), the waiter was waiting for me to get it and was told to bring it to me. Bill: €8 for the pizza with a frozen base, €2 for the coffee, ok, €2 for the water, ok, €3 for the service, paper placemat, paper napkin, knife and fork, ok, square of farinata received, bread, breadsticks, and welcome prosecco (as stated on their menu) not delivered. Adios

15/10/2025: Lovely and very simple atmosphere, with barrel-shaped tables and uncomfortable stools! Definitely more of a takeout pizzeria than a served one. Typical Genoese pizza, very tasty, crispy, and with good ingredients. Lots of choices on the menu! The service is fast, friendly, and kind. We'll definitely be back from Naples! Thank you!

01/05/2026: A terrible experience in every way. A dingy place, ridiculous prices, and embarrassing quality: I even found a hair in a simple plate of pasta. Interminable wait times, and to top it all off, an extremely rude owner. Avoid without a doubt.

18/01/2026: We were there last night and today we are both very sick. The pizza was disgusting and smelled so bad that we had to leave half of it. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough and we both suffered food poisoning. Avoid.

08/09/2025: The bread, focaccia, and pastries are good, but the "CSI-style" barrier of chairs and tape to keep people away from the counter is TERRIBLE! Not even in the time of COVID. And if they mock us for our "typical Ligurian hospitality," let's not complain...

31/08/2025: Illegal Focaccia is so good! Even reheated the next day. Delicious bread. Excellent pastries: I love the Hollandaise pastries.
