28/03/2024: Great. I have gone several times and everything is always excellent

18/03/2024: Today at lunch Pino, my brother-in-law, introduced us to a new restaurant, "in the usual place". As soon as I crossed the threshold, I found myself in a rural cottage, spartanly furnished but with great taste, large oak beams on the ceiling, stones on the walls that support cattle yokes, and even a drinking trough, which leads you to remember the time gone by. . The waiters are all young, their frenetic coming and going ensures that the service is quick and impeccable. The cuisine is varied, it is not limited to the usual three or four dishes repeated inexorably throughout the week, in addition to the classic menu there are a considerable number of "off menu" dishes all masterfully prepared by a highly respectable kitchen team. As far as the quality/price ratio is concerned, it is satisfactory. I would like to conclude my review by pointing out to the reader the well-stocked wine shop worthy of the restaurant's fame. I therefore feel like recommending, without a doubt or shadow of denial, this restaurant. This is therefore the reason for the five stars given by a Google local guide that is certainly not "wide open"

29/03/2024: yes, they were able to renew by inserting 6 planes of typical Chinese dishes that are only eaten in China. beyond the classic ones eaten in Italy. the owner is always a force of nature every time I want to remember what real Chinese food is like I go to visit them

28/03/2024: In Viterbo for work, I arrive at the hotel at dinner time and in the downpour. I don't want to go to the center and so I rely on Mr. Google. I find this restaurant a few minutes walk away and so I decide to try it. The place is very informal, halfway between a restaurant and a trattoria, but welcoming and with friendly staff. The manager of the restaurant (I think his name is Maurizio) is a gentleman who is very attentive to customers' needs. The cuisine is typical and homemade. I believe the menu changes according to the day and is displayed verbally by the staff. I ate the spaghetti carbonara which, even if it wasn't how I prefer it (the egg was a little overcooked), was good. For the second course, I could choose between tripe, stew, boiled meat sautéed in a pan with carrots and onion, cutlet and more. I let the manager advise me and so I chose the boiled meat. More than spot on advice. The chunks of meat melted in your mouth and the accompanying sauce was so good that it deserved the slipper. I wasn't able to have dessert because the portions of the dishes were really generous. The bill? Carbonara + boiled meat + 66 cl Peroni + cover charge = €23 for an attractive quality-price ratio. It is worth a stop even if it is not in the center of Viterbo. I will definitely return next time.

01/04/2024: We booked late on Easter Monday and luckily there was room. The place is very nice and welcoming. We sit at the table and order the homemade lombrichelli, both the Viterbo style ones and the pistachio and pecorino ones are truly excellent, and a mixed platter for two. The platter is good and not too abundant. The service guys were really kind, we will certainly return to this place not only for the food, but also for the welcome.

Super gentili e professionali, attenti alle esigenze del cliente e precisi sulla mia allergia alimentare, variando il menù adattandolo alla mia esigenza. 08/12/2023: I used to frequent this bar a few years ago. I returned this evening and unfortunately I have to say that it was not a positive experience. The place is always very beautiful and welcoming, two floors full of charm. Too bad the service was really bad. They made us move from the upper floor, saying that the tables were already booked, making us "sit on the landing", a cold corner in front of a window and placed on the stairs. A few minutes later, upon the arrival of 5 people (there were two of us), a reservation was cancelled. Incredible timing. After half an hour of waiting I had to go and get one of our orders which was lying abandoned on the counter while I'm still waiting for the other. A few years ago it was definitely better but maybe I was on the wrong day. I definitely wouldn't recommend it though.
