25/01/2026: The bill was a bit steep for the portions which were not generous, which was a shame.
18/01/2026: We had: Lorighittas all'Oristanese, Malloreddus del Campidano, Su Ghisadu (sublime), Sa cassola di pecora, Zuppa inglese espresso (original Sardinian with artisanal ladyfingers), Filu e ferru. EVERYTHING was delicious with top-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Even though our table was right next to the open kitchen, there were absolutely no odors coming from it (they definitely have an extraction system). The service staff was attentive and professional (I think the young man was a sommelier because he seemed knowledgeable when serving the wines). Highly recommended!

08/12/2025: Alessandro Sgamuffa and his staff have created a truly unique format that captures the identity of Nepi and the Tuscia region, connecting travelers with locals. The service format is particularly flexible (you can dine in for lunch or dinner, or even take advantage of the self-service option for a quick lunch break, or even pick up groceries and have traditional dishes delivered directly to your home, B&B, or vacation rental). All this while maintaining an excellent quality-to-price ratio. Proof that professionalism makes all the difference. Hats off!
08/12/2025: My husband and I had a wonderful time eating outside on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception in the beautiful sunshine. The staff was welcoming and helpful.

The appetizers are always delicious, and the pizza is truly delicious. BRAVO!

17/12/2025: I was passing through Nepi by chance. I don't eat sweets. I saw the maritozzi with cream that were beautiful. I ate one... it was years since I had eaten such a good product. Excellent quality. Excellent service. Kind staff... excellent cleanliness. Congratulations guys.
25/08/2025: Exceptional ice cream, not to mention the cakes and pastries. Prices are reasonable. Very friendly staff. I think I'm now a regular customer, even though I live 20 km from Nepi. Highly recommended.

01/02/2026: Discovered thanks to a friend's recommendation, I decided to celebrate my birthday at this agriturismo. From the very beginning, there was an incredible helpfulness and kindness that few restaurateurs today possess. The location is incredible, the food fabulous, and the service from the kitchen and especially from the waiters was irreplaceable. The party was a success, the guests happy... Highly recommended.
14/01/2026: I was here for New Year's Eve dinner and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. A lovely atmosphere, good food, pleasant music... All in all, a great way to ring in the new year!

20/11/2025: I'm writing this while I'm eating... if you don't know how to run a restaurant, it's best to change jobs... you can't have one person serve 30 seated people on a Saturday night and have takeout service at the same time, not to mention the food, where mediocre food is a compliment... look at the photo of the elusive mozzarella and anchovy flower crostini... an hour's wait!! If I had to recommend a restaurant in Nepi, it would definitely not be Il Ghiottone...

20/09/2025: In Nepi's town square, the heart of the city, two young and enterprising newlyweds recently took over the business, bringing a breath of fresh air and innovation. Kudos to them for the kindness and courtesy with which they fulfill every request, both at the counter and out in the square.

15/11/2025: First point: Bring someone who can speak Italian, otherwise it'll be difficult to communicate.
Second point: A 6-year-old who only eats nuvolette and a roll can't afford to pay for a full menu, the reason being: "He's taller than 1.20 meters."
Third point: At least make sure all those €27.90 are worth it.
01/11/2025: Total confusion, decent food, terrible service, in my opinion the waiters don't even know why they're there... at the entrance a 20 minute queue to find out which table we were assigned... change your job
