After a morning hike along trail 178-178b-178c from the Borgia Fortress in Nepi to Castel Sant'Elia (Cavaterra waterfall, Fonte del Tasso, Pizzo waterfall, Piccio waterfall, medieval bridge), we rewarded ourselves with lunch at Danilo (thanks to Tommy). The two of us had ravioli cacio e pepe, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, tripe, chicory, Nepi water, and Mottura's Civitella Rosso red wine. Everything was well prepared, with quality ingredients, handmade pasta, friendly service, and a fair bill. €84 (including €32 wine). We'll be back.

Excellent burgers with meat seasoned with fennel. Beautiful location at the end of the Sponata piste. Lots of sunshine.

21/04/2026: Homemade cuisine, good prices, a friendly atmosphere, and the outdoor microclimate of Montalto is always pleasant, even in winter!
24/03/2026: We had some very good pizzas, huge, thin, and with a crispy crust, cooked in a wood-fired oven. The pizzas on the menu can be customized to your liking when ordering. The only problem is that they're so big that by the time you get to the end, they're already cold! Recommended.

28/04/2026: I went to Avalon Pizzeria in Bolsena and had a really good time. I had a calzone, which was very good and well-filled, and I washed it down with a cold beer. The kids also had a great time; the atmosphere is welcoming and family-friendly. The service was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a positive experience, we'll be back!
11/04/2026: A great evening with friends ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We dined here with two other families (three families with children in total). The welcome was excellent, and the space is suitable for large groups. We focused on the pizzas and were all satisfied: well-cooked and light. We also had several beers and liqueurs. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff friendly. We'll definitely be back!
