06/07/2025: The place is very nice, with a terrace that is not very big but with the capacity to contain several tables. The food is excellent and the portions are generous, we chose the fish menu. The staff is friendly and available for every request. We will definitely return.

09/08/2025: We ate at Ristorante La Foresta in March 2025. It is now August, and I still remember the fabulous meal. We were staying in a nearby B&B on a Monday night, and this was the only restaurant open in the area. We were very hungry and wanted to eat as early as possible. I checked to make sure that 7:30 pm was ok (because it is on the early side for Italy) and also asked if we could be very casually dressed in such an elegant place. We were warmly welcomed by the host. We later found out that this is a favorite place for hikers of the Via Sacre close by. Everything was delicious, but what I especially remember is the Pavlova all'Arancia. It was exquisite both in presentation and taste, especially the candied orange. The service was superb despite our lack of Italian. Our waiter was extremely patient and solicitous. Can't wait to go back. It's worth a special trip.

03/08/2025: We chose La Foresta as our wedding venue! I have to say, everything was amazing, from the food to the organization, all under the supervision and kindness of Antonella! The value for money is excellent! The sunset aperitif and the after-dinner drinks with the lights by the pool were stunning! If you're looking for a venue with top-quality food in a magical setting, this is the place! Thanks again for everything!!

07/08/2025: I went on Sunday, July 13th and Sunday, July 20th, and I have to say I was disappointed the second time. The ravioli went from 5 to 4, the grated truffle disappeared, the porchetta was less, and the cheeses from the appetizer were forgotten. I'll give it another chance...

16/07/2025: Perfect experience. A charming place with a truly breathtaking sunset view. Very friendly staff, excellent prices, and truly high-quality dishes (I recommend the homemade fettuccine).

14/07/2025: Terrible service. Disorganized. Not even an apology for the inconvenience of having to keep asking for things because they forgot everything: the order, the drinks... To think that we arrived at the restaurant at 7:30 PM precisely to be served as best as possible.

12/07/2025: Near Grottaferrata but beneath the slopes of the splendid Rocca di Papa is the Il Papillon restaurant and pizzeria, which for years has been offering traditional cuisine with a contemporary twist. Renovated in its location and decor—rustic yet elegant—the restaurant welcomed us into a wonderful country farmhouse. It almost feels like the dining room of your own home, with tastefully arranged and chosen tables and chairs, as well as the table linens and the "mise en place" that I photographed because it was truly refined: from the fast and punctual service to the food... from the pizza to the grilled dishes, everything was perfect, but I'm not just saying this; I don't know the owner, so I'm speaking honestly, considering we happened upon a Friday evening and without a reservation! The quality-price ratio is excellent, the meat is top-quality, selected and portioned in front of the customer, including rare Kobe and Wagyu. The pizza is exceptional, with three doughs to choose from, classic whole wheat and thick, all top-quality ingredients and very generous... I recommend trying it, I'll definitely be back enthusiastically... I must say, a surprise in the Castelli Romani area. A strong point, in addition to both indoor and outdoor space, is also ample parking.

09/07/2025: A quality restaurant with a strong focus on meat. We had pizza, which is offered with three different toppings. Definitely excellent value.

16/07/2025: Di passaggio verso il Sud, ci siamo fermati in un B&B delle vicinanze e, da qui, abbiamo cercato una trattoria dove cenare. Domenica sera, ai castelli, è un po' difficile perchè a pranzo c'è il pienone e la sera molti locali chiudono. Dopo attenta ricerca su Tripadivsor abbiamo scelto il Cantinone. Serata brutta e piovosa ma rischiarata dal cibo gustato in questa vecchia (e storica, immagino) trattoria tutta romana, dall'ambiente all'accoglienza, alle battute salaci, al cibo semplice ma buono. 2 belle carbonare, per non sbagliare, un po' di funghi freschi arrosto, una cicoria ripassata, 1/2 litro di vino e la vita ti appare sotto tutt'altra aspettativa. Grazie. Se vedemo (forse...)

15/06/2025: Optimal!!! The owners are very good and the Pub is very nice!!!

21/05/2025: I come to this pub every now and then. More by invitation of friends. They try to attract new and old customers with live music. The food is fresh and delicious. Pub atmosphere, country and friendly. What can I say? They are a bit limited by the fact that the road is closed for a dangerous bridge. Let's hope it is resolved quickly to have more turnout.

05/07/2025: Nightmare evening and cuisine, a place worthy of participating in Cannavacciuolo's program, a terrace created from a parking lot, tables and chairs from the best Roma camps, carbonara with truffles without eggs, salty like the Dead Sea and the salt flats of Trapani together, fillet steak with green pepper and a full dose of Chef cream, all washed down with watered-down Castelli wine, a gourmet bill though... luckily the carbonara was removed from the bill... run away if you pass by there... Goodbye Answer: Look, it's not my credibility that's being questioned here, but yours, the photos are meant to argue the poor quality of your furnishings, the preparation of your dishes, and they have nothing to do with the view that I wasn't interested in highlighting, moreover The level of your intelligence and your boorish arrogance, which instead of taking advantage of criticisms limits itself to offending those who make them, is on a par with the dishes you serve... cooked just to make the dish come out without any love for the profession and it shows from how do you manage the relationship with customers, the answer you should have given was another one.. anyway, you can put a pearl necklace on a donkey.. but he's still a donkey...

23/06/2025: There were 4 of us on Saturday night, we ordered 3 appetizers, 2 first courses and 2 second courses. In 5 minutes the appetizers arrived, we still had to finish the appetizer and they already wanted to take away the plates, they take away the appetizer plates, 5 minutes later the second courses arrive and 3 minutes later the first courses. Now I understand that on Saturday night there may be more people but not even warning the guests to swallow the food with the funnel. Then eating reasonably well, I personally didn't like it. Not to mention the €200 bill for not having eaten anything, terrible. First and last time they see me, I'm sorry.
