29/07/2026: Thin, crispy pizza, a typical Roman dish, just how I like it ❤️. Top tip: coffee with zabaglione, EXCEPTIONAL, delicious. A must-try. Polite, smiling staff and owners. In short, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. And then there's a breathtaking view and a pleasant coolness on these hot, hot days. 💪❤️

13/07/2026: As a frequent customer of this restaurant, I'd like to point out that the quality of the food has been declining for some time and the prices have gone up. It's a real shame. Yesterday, for example, the fried mushrooms weren't cooked fresh, but rather, I believe, reheated and prepared that morning. They were soft and rubbery. The porchetta tasted bad, the arrosticini were dry and tough. Unfortunately, even the baked potatoes were stale and reheated quickly. The total dinner cost €85 for a portion of porchetta, a portion of fried mushrooms, a pasta dish, 10 arrosticini, and the potatoes, along with water and half a liter of house wine. I think it's become too expensive. What a shame.

23/08/2026: A delightful birthday, that's what I celebrated with family and friends at "il Papillon." My guests loved everything! The original appetizer, delicious pizza and pasta, and what can I say about the meat! The cake I ordered was delicious and beautiful! Thank you... but I have to say one flaw! The parking lot was a bit too small for such a large space, both inside and out! I'd like to take half a star off the 5. Well deserved otherwise!

14/08/2026: We chose La Foresta Restaurant in Rocca di Papa to celebrate our wedding on August 5, 2026, and we couldn't have made a better choice! We had the opportunity to celebrate our authentic civil ceremony directly immersed in the woods, in a simply wonderful and evocative atmosphere, which made our day even more special and unforgettable. The quality of the food was excellent: everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the courses to the presentation, and above all, it was appreciated by all our guests. We received so many compliments! But what really made the difference was the superb organization: professionalism, availability, attention to detail, and impeccable management of every moment of the day. We felt accompanied and supported from start to finish, allowing us to experience our wedding without a single worry. All our guests were completely satisfied and still compliment us on our choice of venue. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff at La Foresta for helping make our August 5th a wonderful and unforgettable day. ❤️ We absolutely recommend this venue to any couple looking for a special wedding, surrounded by nature, with excellent food and impeccable organization!

10/05/2026: Beautiful place, attentive service, excellent quality and presentation. The only flaw, in my opinion of course... gourmet dishes. I'm not a fan of that trend. Overall, excellent.

19/02/2026: In any experience, the first thing to consider is the quality/price ratio. On a day like Valentine's Day, restaurants offer menus bordering on deception at insane prices, only to end up with nothing to eat. That wasn't the case here. Substantial recipes with overly generous portions at a price that reflects food costs and covers fixed costs. And in this market, I repeat, that's not a given. Now, after a set menu evening, I want to try the à la carte menu too... I'll have more to say later.

16/08/2026: Tonight, August 16, 2026, is the third time in two months we've returned. Nothing more needs to be said.

15/08/2026: Very nice location with a veranda and garden. Very friendly staff, although a little slow today, but they were packed. The appetizers were good (I wasn't thrilled with the cooked ham). All the first courses were very good, with decent portions. The desserts were good, with generous portions. Prices were average, and it was nice not to have the fixed menu for Ferragosto. We'll definitely return on a non-holiday to try it out more.

17/08/2026: We ate on Ferragosto (August 15th) with a set menu. Everything was truly excellent, especially the meat: tender, succulent, and excellent quality. The dessert was delicious. Excellent service, very professional wait staff, and we really appreciated the explanations of each course. We will definitely be back.

16/08/2026: I'll start by saying that it's at least 10 degrees cooler than Rome, and in the summer, it makes a real difference. The food is excellent, especially the fried chanterelle mushrooms, and the various cuts of meat are cooked by a professional.
