06/05/2026: We had lunch with six of us on a Sunday in May, and fortunately, it wasn't crowded. The restaurant offers a wide selection of meats, for meat lovers. After a light appetizer, we ordered tonnarelli with cheese, pepper, and pancetta, and pappardelle with wild boar ragù (both very good). For main courses, we were almost unanimous in our opinion...the lamb cacciatore style was excellent, and the sliced ​​beef served with chicory and potatoes. The service was good and quite attentive. It might cost a little more, but it's worth it. Reservations are recommended, especially during the holidays.

13/07/2026: As a frequent customer of this restaurant, I'd like to point out that the quality of the food has been declining for some time and the prices have gone up. It's a real shame. Yesterday, for example, the fried mushrooms weren't cooked fresh, but rather, I believe, reheated and prepared that morning. They were soft and rubbery. The porchetta tasted bad, the arrosticini were dry and tough. Unfortunately, even the baked potatoes were stale and reheated quickly. The total dinner cost €85 for a portion of porchetta, a portion of fried mushrooms, a pasta dish, 10 arrosticini, and the potatoes, along with water and half a liter of house wine. I think it's become too expensive. What a shame.

19/02/2026: In any experience, the first thing to consider is the quality/price ratio. On a day like Valentine's Day, restaurants offer menus bordering on deception at insane prices, only to end up with nothing to eat. That wasn't the case here. Substantial recipes with overly generous portions at a price that reflects food costs and covers fixed costs. And in this market, I repeat, that's not a given. Now, after a set menu evening, I want to try the à la carte menu too... I'll have more to say later.

08/04/2026: Osteria dei Colli in Rocca di Papa continues to be, for me, one of the most welcoming, helpful, and high-quality restaurants in terms of raw materials and expert preparation. We've been frequenting it for years now, and it never disappoints; in fact, it always manages to surprise us and leave us with what I call "good memories." Whether you're celiac or have other dietary restrictions, you can count on a safe place that caters to everyone. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive, fast, and professional despite their young age. I personally adore them. What more can I say? The homemade pasta, the excellent quality meats prepared with recipes that enhance their flavor and tenderness. Try the entire menu, which varies seasonally. Their wine is extraordinary 💯💯. 20/07/2026: We had dinner at the Palazzolo Restaurant in Rocca di Papa last night with our two children (7 and 1). We asked for an early dinner for the little ones' needs, but were instructed not to arrive before 7:45 PM. Unfortunately, the evening turned out to be an uninterrupted series of poor service and serious oversights. The critical points of the evening: SAFETY AND ALLERGENS (VERY SERIOUS): For my 1-year-old daughter, I ordered ravioli with basil pesto, burrata, yellow datterini tomato puree, and sun-dried tomatoes. While cutting them, luckily for me and thanks to my extreme fussiness, I found WHOLE ALMONDS in the filling. A huge choking hazard for small children and allergies! I double-checked the menu and the presence of almonds was not even mentioned on the plate. Result: the little girl ate bread for dinner. HACCP STANDARDS NOT MET: When it came to dessert, we were shocked to discover that their tiramisu was made with fresh, unpasteurized eggs. It's unacceptable for a restaurant to ignore basic hygiene and food safety regulations. SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM: The service was extremely slow and inattentive, to the point of having to "confront" the waiters to move the food forward (agonizing with children). I then ordered a lemon sorbet and it arrived warm, at room temperature. When I asked if it had alcohol, the waitress's response was an incredulous "I don't think so!" I asked for another one and they brought me a second identical one (warm). In the end, my husband had to go inside to report it himself, only to be told that the temperature was 40°F (adding insult to injury). CASH REGISTRATION AND BILL: When it came time to pay, the cashier didn't even look me in the eye, handing me the card straight to pay me without even telling me the amount. Only after I irritably asked for the total did he decide to apply a discount to apologize for the embarrassment. Non-existent customer service, poor service, and serious lapses in food safety and hygiene standards. An experience to forget. They'll never see us again.

06/07/2026: With their new location, Pepe Verde has hit the jackpot. Excellent ingredients, impeccably cooked food. The staff is courteous and attentive to their customers' needs. Alessio, the waiter who served us, is disarmingly kind. Highly recommended.
