Simply extraordinary location: an enchanted corner overlooking the lake, where elegance, nature and tranquility blend together in a truly unique and magical atmosphere. Every detail, from the arrangement of the tables to the breathtaking view of the lake with Anguillara in the background, made the day unforgettable for us and for all the guests. The menu was superb: refined, abundant dishes, prepared with the highest quality ingredients. Without exaggerating, we can say that the cuisine of Chalet del Lago is the best in Anguillara. Each course was a success, accompanied by a careful presentation and authentic flavors that won everyone over. A special applause goes to the staff, impeccable from every point of view: friendly, attentive, professional and always available, capable of anticipating our every need with discretion and efficiency. The owner welcomed us with great warmth and availability, following us carefully throughout the organization and on the day of the event. We are so happy to have chosen this special place for such an important occasion and we will definitely return for other celebrations or simply to enjoy the beauty and excellence of this wonderful place again. 07/05/2025: Ottimo Tutto: Locale, servizio. Qualità della Pinsa con crema di carciofi, mozzarella, guanciale e noci, molto buona e digeribilissima, ottima anche la birra ed i bocconcini con le melanzane. Sicuramente da provare. Ci tornerò per degustare i primi. Aperto solo a cena.

24/05/2025: Lunch at Zucarelli's What do I want to say? It's not a dull thing: when you sit at the table and with your eyes you eat this goodness that is not turnip! Salami and cheeses in four pieces, vegetables and focaccia with a drizzle of oil on top, boiled beans with croutons; then gnocchi with ragù with a red sauce that smells good, cheese and pepper with artichokes that are a feather! And now that you have this nice full belly, you drink the red wine that you like and when the dessert arrives, you barely feel that you have to find the place that is between us! At the first bite the taste is unleashed: rich ricotta tart and cherry sauce you don't eat, brothers, you feel like you're flying and so you find yourself in heaven right there and then!

17/05/2025: We stayed here one night and we had a great time, both for the quiet and well-kept place, and for Mr. Luca, very kind, welcoming and available for all our requests. The breakfast was well-stocked and homemade and the rooms were spacious and clean. We will definitely be back.

02/05/2025: Last night I was in the presence of a friend of mine. Quite a vital location, as much as the staff themselves. We were served by two girls, named Carmen and Alice. Carmen was very attentive to the needs of my friend who, being intolerant to different categories of dishes, was rather meticulous in her explanations regarding what she would encounter when choosing a certain type of salad initially consulted from the menu, as she provided her with suggestions regarding what she could consume in each case, sometimes doing so in a way to satisfy her requests as much as possible. Then there is Alice, who warmly welcomed us as soon as we arrived. Distinct approach but not too formal, or rather "monotonous". Always available and present, often checking whether we were satisfied with our orders. Excellent experience. I highly recommend!

16/05/2025: I understand that I am quite "out of the expensive" but my experience was quite disappointing. The atmosphere is quite "dark" ..... the dishes are quite "minimal", the costs - in my opinion - do not conform to the proposals and the food is far too simple, that is, without any special notes. The service is adequate to the level that, always for me, remains only "fair". I would not return to this restaurant nor, based on my one and only experience in this place, would I recommend it, honestly, to lovers of good food. There is a lot to do and it is a shame because the location would be good.

07/04/2025: To be honest, I confess that my experience at Lalla at lunch on Sunday was an "encore", certain of replicating the satisfaction with food and service from a year earlier. However it was a disappointment on all fronts. In addition to a room on the street level, Lalla has an underground room created in a small cave which probably served as a pantry for food and wine. In that small blind space, painted white to attenuate the sense of closedness, 4 tables are arranged, as well as at the edges of the stairs that lead down from the room. When booking we were advised that the only place available was in the "grottino" and we accepted the accommodation. What we didn't know, however, was that we would be FORGOTTEN, like the other customers who had the same fate of being accommodated in the cellar. Even if a place is full of customers, I find it unacceptable to wait 55 minutes to have an appetizer of cured meats served on a platter. I also find it unacceptable to wait a further 40 minutes to have the first course (an amatriciana and a plate of rigatoni with "an idea of" pajata), without anyone bothering to warn us of the wait or making it less burdensome with small precautions. Furthermore, it was not possible to get the attention of the dining room staff to point out the lack of pecorino on the dishes (expressly requested when ordering). If we needed more bread or water or more wine, we would have had to get up, go up the stairs and ask someone. I must say that this treatment is shameful for paying customers with reservations, and was also democratically reserved for the other unfortunates in the cave (which I think is more of a punishment for customers than a suggestive arrangement)! Ah... But the most exhilarating thing was when, when collecting the dishes, I was notified that the chicory I had ordered at 1.30pm, at 3.10pm (the time I finished the first course) was finished.... Too bad that when it rose to the surface, I noticed a nice plate of steaming chicory on the table of a couple who arrived at the restaurant long after us. In summary, two hours in a cave, without adequate service, to consume a plate of cured meats and two first courses which I honestly make better, the mockery of finding my chicory on another table and not even a discount on the total or the proposal of a glass of bitters offered by the house! Absolutely FAILURE!!! Lack of respect for customers who are evidently considered more numbers to cover than people to serve and please as they deserve.
