21/09/2025: Exceptional restaurant!!! We stumbled upon it by chance, and I must say that after coming to Ponza so many times, we finally found a top restaurant! Spaghetti, hurray, excellent!! Baked sea bass with potatoes, onions, black olives, and cherry tomatoes was exceptional!!! The price was reasonable for the quality. Very kind owners, top-notch staff. Convenient parking outside. We heard they also have rooms available. We will definitely be back!

15/09/2025: A very nice restaurant just a few minutes from the port of Ponza. The staff were friendly and professional. The fish was delicious and very fresh. I highly recommend it.

29/03/2026: Fantastic hotel, excellent staff, wonderful food. A perfect family vacation. The hotel is in a quiet and not too inconvenient location, close to the port and the sea. Highly recommended!

15/01/2026: Ideal for a few relaxing days About 500 meters from the port, this hotel offers welcoming accommodations even during the winter, when almost all other hotels on the island are closed. The attached restaurant is excellent; we enjoyed our New Year's Eve dinner here, perfectly set up, delicious, sumptuous, and fun.

07/04/2026: The hotel boasts an exceptional location with stunning views, overlooking the sea with cliffs to the side. In the morning, the sun rises right in front of the rooms. Stunning views of the crystal-clear sea. The rooms are small but basic and clean. The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming.

05/07/2026: We were 10 and waited for one and half hour while all people who didn’t book get seated including 8 people’s group. We asked when we can get a table. The waitress said “it is not my business”. 🤬😡🤬 Ponza was beautiful except the horrible night we waited here for nothing and heard “IT IS NOT MY BUSINESS”.

The red snapper... accompanied by other ingredients that accentuate the main ingredient. Very clean and modern atmosphere. Attentive and well-prepared service. Owners at the forefront, present but never intrusive. Every dish has a story. A refined and well-researched story. Never overly sophisticated, the raw ingredients are emphasized. 13/09/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant last night. Both my partner and I were very satisfied, amazed by the quality of the ingredients, the flavor of the dishes, and the friendliness of the staff. Highly recommended!

24/07/2026: The restaurant is well located and offers a pleasant setting. However, the service is lacking, and the food is nothing special. The pasta with tuna ragu was made with canned tuna… The menu wasn't up to date, we had to wait over fifteen minutes and even ask to order wine ourselves, even though the restaurant was practically empty.

22/07/2026: Simple seafood cuisine, rustic but well-prepared. You can arrive directly by dinghy or rented boat. Book well in advance to secure the best spots. Without a reservation, you can leave your name on the list, they'll call you, and only then can you approach by boat or from Cala Feola beach!

23/10/2025: It's a shame I can't give it zero stars. I had a pizza that tasted less like a cracker, the sauce was bland and poured from the jar onto the pizza without even a hint of a pan, the mozzarella had the consistency of rubber, and the mushrooms were disgusting. Furthermore, the air conditioning is a luxury they apparently can't afford, the staff is as friendly as a stinger, and they'll snap at you for asking absurd questions like why the air conditioning is off when it's 104 degrees in the dining room. Then we glimpsed the kitchen, and I have to say, if the NAS (Italian Police) officers were to enter there, they'd run out of paper due to all the fines they'd have to issue, and they'd quit their jobs because of the trauma they'd cause by the filth they'd see in that stall. Finally, if you want to pay by card, they'll curse your family. Avoid at all costs.

30/06/2026: At Angelino's, homemade cuisine is second to none! Excellent service, and the owner is attentive and makes you feel at home! Dinner for two was perfect, with a complimentary homemade citrus liqueur. Despite its less-than-perfect location, its cuisine is as worthy as more renowned restaurants. A must-visit!

28/06/2026: A performative experience about absence. The absence of welcome, of smiles, of any form of human warmth. The customer enters and seems to interrupt something more important. The cappuccinos and croissants are there, of course, but as mere extras in a work dedicated to the relationship between indifference and overpricing. A surprising finale: 1 croissant, 2 slices of pastiera, 2 cappuccinos, €19.40.

04/09/2025: Welcoming staff, but the quality was truly poor. The calamari appetizer was decent. The first courses were very elaborate and didn't bring out the flavor of the fish. The fried fish was awful and blatantly frozen. There were four of us: two appetizers, four first courses, one fried fish, and one dessert, four bottles of water, and one white wine (a satirical one), for the modest sum of €60 per person. I'm sorry to say this, but I won't be returning.

01/09/2025: When we're in Ponza, we never miss an evening on Gennarino's splendid terrace. A welcoming, family atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and traditional cuisine with a touch of innovation. Try the new summer dish, Pasta alla Gennarino! Prices are in line with the location. Highly recommended.

14/09/2025: Avoid for many reasons, but especially because of the annoyed and arrogant owner who tells us, verbatim, "Parmesan isn't specified on the menu because it's assumed that it's in the seafood ragù." Despite food allergies and intolerances, the reality, dear restaurant phenomenon, is simpler: just add fish and you don't need to flavor with cheese.

12/09/2025: Avoid this restaurant. The food is poor, the owner is rude and hasty in his explanations. The menu is limited. Only one very nice waitress. Avoid!

13/06/2026: A few days ago, my wife, our two daughters, and I, at the end of our vacation, left our house in Ponza for an afternoon out. A couple of restaurants had been recommended for lunch, and we chose to stop at the lighthouse; we couldn't have made a better choice. We stopped by in the morning for breakfast: richly filled croissants, delicious Neapolitan sfogliatelle, donuts, cappuccinos, coffee, and juices were the perfect way to start the day. We took the boat to Frontone (2 minutes away) and spent a pleasant half day there. We returned around 2:00 PM and were ready for lunch, but we weren't expecting such a treat: Two simple penne pasta with tomato sauce for the girls were an absolute masterpiece worthy of a Michelin-starred chef. The result was a clean plate, exquisite eggplant parmigiana, impeccable fried calamari, delicate and incredibly fresh. But the icing on the cake was the chef's bruschetta with grilled octopus, papaccelle (scallions), anchovies, olives, and vegetables. As I told the kids, it was "inedible," meaning it couldn't have been eaten by a normal person. It was so abundant and delicious, yet still indescribable; you only have to try it to see for yourself. We finished lunch with coffee and chocolate gelato, gianduja, and caramelized almonds—a spectacle. All of this was, of course, complemented by the helpfulness, attentiveness, kindness, and friendly atmosphere of all the staff, with the sea and the harbor beaches as a backdrop—a true treat.
