11/10/2025: This place belongs to a whole other kind of era/ vibe. There is no fancy stuff here no fake smiles to catch the client no marketing no luxuries. Just good and/fast food beers and friends. Staff working hard and nothing else. Other fancy places around the town which open and close at the time of an heartbeat should humble themselves and learn from these people, who have ran this iconic business from decades and are still standing in the middle of the town like they own it. Keep scoring chads! 4stars all over

17/01/2026: Hotel is not fancy, but it is clean, has hot showers and is very convenient to Cassino, all the WWII sites and Abbey of Montecassino. Breakfast was OK - good base for the day.
13/01/2026: Modern and clean rooms, excellent customer service. They've also improved the restaurant, offering tasty, well-prepared dishes.
Slightly outside Cassino but easily accessible.

10/01/2026: At the croissant counter, I'm greeted coldly and with the presumptuous "I'm doing you a favor." Until proven otherwise, I'm the customer. It's a different story at the croissant counter, where the ladies greet you with a smile and attentiveness.

23/11/2025: I came to this place after the orchestra event at the Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph. I was looking for an empanada and a beer, and I ran into Ashton, a really friendly and kind guy from South Africa who was working there at the time. The place is super cozy and beautiful, and from what I understand, they often host art events. The empanada was delicious!! I’ll definitely stop by again sometime. Thank you! Love this place.
05/10/2025: Wonderful place and friendly staff, but the food is nearly inedible and shamefully priced. They charge $30 for the suya chicken, which was literally just burnt bones (less than a couple ounces of meat on them) and a mountain of chopped onions. It also took nearly an hour from ordering to being served. I really wanted to like this place as it has a very relaxing atmosphere, but the food was extremely disappointing and overpriced.

26/12/2025: It's still a McDonald's, so you can't expect Michelin-starred recipes...
For a quick lunch/dinner, I'd say it's fine, even for hanging out with friends.
21/12/2025: My sandwich arrived ruined and I didn't receive any tissues and I had to blow my nose with the receipt for my payment of 5 sandwiches and it's a truly shameful thing.

23/12/2025: Terrible experience.
We ordered through Glovo and a piadina was missing, even though it had been paid for properly. I called the piadina shop to report the mistake, telling me they'd forgotten to prepare the missing piadina. I was told they couldn't deliver it because it wasn't the delivery driver's fault, with no alternative solution.
I explained that I was at work and unable to travel, but the person on the phone, Giovanna, was extremely rude and rude, to the point of hanging up on me.
Mistakes can happen, but the attitude and total disrespect toward the customer are unacceptable. I won't return, and I don't recommend them.

Hotel Ristorante La Campagnola

28/12/2025: We stayed for 3 nights and all the negative reviews were proven wrong. The rooms were new, spotless, and smelled great. Anna and Raffaele, the owners, were unique and impeccable, thanks also to Marco, a fantastic person. Alberico, the night porter, was simply one of a kind. The hotel's location was spectacular, near the toll booth and you can reach the city center in 2 minutes. What can I say? We'll definitely be back.

01/02/2026: A lovely, multipurpose venue: a bar, pastry shop, tobacconist, and absolutely all the telephone services you could need.
Unfortunately, the bar girls, while nice, lack grace, tact, or common sense.
As for me, I won't set foot there again.

The waiters are rude, they look askance at customers, they often ignore them, and they take too long to take orders. The atmosphere is unpleasant and unwelcoming.
Furthermore, the prices are unclear: the same coffee is charged at different prices, with different receipts and no explanation. A very serious situation.
It's a shame, because the coffee and croissants are good, but the service completely ruins the experience.
