We were delighted to return to Il Pioppeto after years of absence and found the owners' kindness to be superb. The apartment was perfect, clean, and charming, with Angela's touch evident. It's a charming place perfect for relaxation.

I should point out that we stopped just to break up the journey back from vacation (from Trapani to Bergamo). For this reason, I can confirm the excellent location, close to the highway and the Montecassino Abbey, which we managed to visit in the afternoon. The location is very beautiful and surrounded by nature, but I think it could still be improved. The same goes for the rooms. The price was fair, however, as far as we were concerned. We were with our Czechoslovakian wolfdog, who was admitted for an additional €10.

Ideal location for "breaking up" the north-south Italy route. Easily accessible from the highway. Also suitable for stays on site as a base for visiting nearby places. Friendly and helpful owners.

An agriturismo with great charm which would make your stay comfortable. When i with some friends stayed here for 1 night there was no dinner service as we did book at the latest hour but in the morning we were offered a good breakfast. The hosts, Massimo and his wife welcomed us with great charm and made our check in as fast as possible. All rooms are equipped with AC. Good parking for motorcycles.

28/02/2026: On the main road between Sora and Isola del Liri, you will find this tavola calabria- it's very similar to a cafeteria style service. However, il granaio also serves bread and other baked products. There's a wide range of freshly cooked food and all at reasonable prices. There's always a good selection of vegetables as well as pasta dishes such as lasagne. If you find yourself in the area, it's worth a stop.
