02/01/2026: Unfortunately, my experience with Torte & Cornetti didn't live up to my expectations. Upon entering, the place seemed nice, but I encountered several issues that left me dissatisfied. First of all, I found little variety in the products available, with many display cases nearly empty despite it being a peak time. The desserts I tried tasted flat and unmemorable, with creams that seemed overly sweet and unbalanced, and the pastry wasn't particularly fresh. For the price, I expected much better quality. Furthermore, the service didn't seem particularly attentive or proactive: I asked questions about ingredients and variations, but received responses that were inconsistent and lacking enthusiasm. Furthermore, the place, despite being small and quaint, wasn't particularly clean or well-maintained, as I'd expect from a mid- to high-end pastry shop. In short, overall, I wouldn't recommend it: for what it offers, there are other pastry shops and cafes in the area that, in my opinion, guarantee fresher pastries and more attentive service. If you're looking for a truly satisfying confectionery experience, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

08/03/2026: While it's definitely best to book, especially on weekends, the atmosphere is modern and the pizza and food are top-notch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It's a great place to spend a quiet evening with family or a get-together with friends.

Very professional and knowledgeable about their work, I can only recommend her if you want top-quality cakes and pastries and want to create stunning surprise cakes. 28/03/2026: Historic Chinese restaurant, excellent, fresh food, welcoming atmosphere with outdoor seating. A regular stop at least once a week. Highly recommended! Angela, the owner, is super-cool.

28/03/2026: We returned here after many years, when it was still one of the few true Chinese restaurants (now rare, replaced almost everywhere by sushi). I'll start with the weak point: the service. The waiter was rude, annoyed, and unprofessional, with curt responses and zero customer service. A smile and a modicum of politeness are not optional. The atmosphere is simple and a bit dated: nothing tragic, but it could be improved. That said, the food is the real reason it's worth coming: good, flavorful, and true to what we remembered. Furthermore, the prices are significantly lower than the current average, which is increasingly rare. In short: you come to eat well and spend little, not for the service. I'll return, but I hope not to find the same waiter.

05/12/2025: Good food. We had an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. The ingredients were really good. The owners were very kind.

15/10/2025: We were already relatively late for lunch, but after consulting the very friendly host, he saved us a table and said he would conjure up something for us - so there was no menu to choose from and no overview of the prices, which turned out to be a negative surprise when we got to the bill. The quality of the food is top-notch, very cleverly prepared and presented. For starters, he served us carpaccio with lemon zest, nuts, and pomegranate. It tasted very good, the meat was excellent, and it was beautifully presented. We also had two glasses of red wine and half a liter of water. For the main course, he served polenta (cooked in a large copper kettle over a wood fire, it looked like) with tomato sauce and homemade salsicca. This course was also delicious. This dish is the best down-to-earth, rustic country cuisine that you would otherwise expect from Northern Italy. What annoyed us was the (non-transparent) bill: We paid €80 for this simple meal: two courses with two glasses (not the usual 1/2-1 liter), half a liter of water, two coffees, and two amari. Dear host, as good as your cooking is and as pleasant as our conversations with you were, charging such a sum for a carpaccio and a polenta dish with tomatoes is downright cheeky.

20/01/2026: We took this little trip to remember the times when I was a child. There's little to no trace of the past; war has decimated even my teeth. I realize that photos of my grandparents, of my deepest memories. After hours in this open-air museum, I noticed this little place. From a well-decorated shop window to a fully furnished room. We wandered inside, curious, to a legendary welcome. The varied menu, we were captivated by the dish I gave back.

02/11/2025: Horrible experience. Precooked pasta with no sauce. We had pacchero with cod, where the cod was nonexistent, and a cacio e pepe with a strong pepper. These two dishes plus a sparkling water cost €30. I don't recommend it.

12/04/2026: The portions are generous, the ingredients excellent, and the preparation meticulously done. The service is very friendly but sometimes a bit slow. The interior is pleasant, with large tables perfect for convivial meals, but a bit noisy (I think due to a sound reverberation issue). Definitely a place to return to.
