Exquisite and very professional staff, it's like being among friends!

12/03/2026: A restaurant suitable for banquets and ceremonies. The menu and food were basic; we were about forty people. Service was fairly quick, with no long waits between courses. The food was classic. I wouldn't go as a couple for a romantic dinner.
22/02/2026: I had a wonderful lunch with my family. We felt welcomed, and the attention given to my children was greatly appreciated! Fast service and quality food!
We were greeted and served by a young man who exudes passion for his work—excellent! Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! The place is well-kept and the view is wonderful!!!

08/03/2026: I don't usually leave reviews, but I have to say that Osteria La Lanterna amazed me completely. It was my first time there, and it was a completely unexpected Sunday lunch. The attention to detail, the dishes, and the sourcing of raw materials (prepared by them for each dish) convey all the love the two owners bring to their table. The dining room is welcoming and well-appointed, and the dishes are a riot of flavors. We were a table of five, and we all left extremely satisfied. A true gem close to home!

20/03/2026: Really excellent and a lovely welcome
16/03/2026: We went to this beautiful beer garden/fortress for my birthday. The reservation was quick and efficient on the website, as I was given what I requested (a table in the children's area).
However, the thing that kept us from fully enjoying our day was the service: the waiters were either too absent (the place wasn't busy since it was lunchtime) or too present, so much so that they waited (at the table) to clear your plate while you were just finishing your last bite. ANXIETY!!!
We were even asked if we wanted dessert while we were still eating our dishes.
More of a marathon than a lunch.
Overall, the place is very nice, with a beautiful view and very close to Lake Garda, but in terms of friendliness (the welcome) and service, everything needs to be reconsidered given that it's a tourist area.

01/03/2025: Locale old stile, ordinato e pulito, noi abbiamo cenato con 4 antipasti, nota molto positiva per il luccio con polenta, 4 secondi, 3 dolci molto buoni, una bottiglia di vino, acqua e 2 caffè a poco meno di 200€, servizio preciso.
In soldoni abbiamo mangiato bene in una trattoria di una volta, mi dispiace non dare le 5 stelle per il prezzo un pò troppo elevato per essere in trattoria.

01/02/2025: Era da tempo che non ritornavamo a cenare alla Scaletta, siamo stati bene mangiato bene cucina casalinga, ottimi primi piatti e come secondo piatto ottimo coniglio.
23/10/2024: Wir waren rund um den Gardasee über viele Jahre in vielen tollen Restaurants, heute Abend war allerdings ein echtes Highlight. Mama steht am Herd und das schmeckt man auch. Echte einheimische Küche ohne Schnickschnack, super lecker und die Portionen bringen einen schnell an die Grenzen. Besonders gefallen hat uns die herzliche Atmosphäre.

01/09/2024: Sinceramente viste le recensioni aspettavo di più,scelta limitata e poco caratteristica ,tagliatelle si porcini senza lode ne infamia, tortelloni al sugo di brasato salati,coniglio al forno era cotto in casseruola arrivato con polenta....faceva parte dell antipasto . Dolci scarsi,conto x me salato eviterei
12/08/2024: Ci sono tornato quest’anno dopo anni che non venivo. La proposta è passata da un menù fisso di all’ora ad un menu alla carta, tuttavia sono rimasto deluso dall’esperienza.
Menù poco vario e con scelta di piatti limitata, non degna di un buon ristorante alla carta. Prodotti non eccellenti non aiutano a far brillare dei piatti poco ricercati (non per dire che non sia buono, ma ha il sapore di cucina semplice e casalinga).
Nonostante ciò il personale cortese è l posizione in collina immersa tra le vigne della valpolicella, rendono l’atmosfera piacevole e conviviale.
