20/12/2025: It was my birthday, and I wanted to try this family-run restaurant, which I'd heard of but had never tried. We were immediately greeted with a familiar yet elegant and classy atmosphere. They seated us and explained the types of dishes and how they're prepared...all strictly homemade, including the desserts. A trio of pastas were chosen on the spot (tagliolini, tagliatelle, or other) with different sauces (we had truffle, wild boar, and finally sausage and chestnut, which was off the menu). Paired with a delicious glass of ripasso, opened and approved at the table. A delight for the palate...the pasta with sausage and chestnuts was out of this world. The second courses were no less... some had pastissada de caval, some wild boar, some breaded and fried lamb in bite-sized pieces, all paired with a thick slice of polenta in each dish. The pastissada melted in the mouth, the wild boar too... the lamb was also delicious... as for the side dishes... the fried eggplant slices were marvelous, the Tropea onions were truly delicate and finally the baked potatoes gave the classic touch of home cooking... when we got to dessert I didn't want to take it because I'm not a greedy person and I was full, but as a surprise, knowing it was my birthday, they made me a bite-sized piece of rose cake with mascarpone cream and a candle... :-) .. truly appreciated and truly delicious. Someone had that (the portion is really generous) and someone a parfait with raspberry cream... maybe I didn't describe it well, but the result is the same... everyone enjoying the taste and letting others taste it... even the dry biscuits we paired with a glass of Recioto were delicious. What can I say... at the end of the dinner we were talking, with the guys in the restaurant, about how family restaurants are dying because of the new generations who don't feel like taking over the reins of the business... I can truly tell you that in this case it's worth continuing because the sacrifice is great and you can see it in the care that goes into everything, but the result is sooo ...

20/01/2026: Refined and elegant atmosphere, kind and attentive welcome. The porchetta was simply fabulous (it goes without saying...). We had a delicious beef tomahawk, perfectly cooked, and a sublime braised pork cheek in Amarone, all accompanied by exquisite giardiniera and tasty cooked vegetables. Wow... an experience worth repeating, definitely. Highly recommended.

18/01/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant between winery visits. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly and welcoming, and the food was truly delicious and high-quality. In the evening, we returned for a drink and some takeout, and the staff's friendliness was always a key feature. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

20/11/2025: We stopped by for a quick lunch. The food was decent and the service was fast (perhaps too fast). Unfortunately, the entire place was filled with an unpleasant smell of burnt meat, presumably grilled, which even permeated our clothes. Why ruin what would otherwise be a more than decent place like that?

14/10/2025: Since it opened, we've always had pizza at La Lanterna every Saturday night. Antonio, the owner, is a kindhearted guy. His passion has always been pizza. There are so many mediocre pizzas out there, and many even get used to them, even convincing themselves that this is how pizza is made. His pizza, however, is decidedly superior, inspired by the best. It's fragrant and fragrant, the dough is well-leavened, light and easy to digest, the crust is high, the air bubbles are excellent, and the ingredients are carefully selected and always top-quality. Besides the pizza, the other dishes are also absolutely worth trying. The ravioli with two cherry tomatoes, yellow and red, and the braised beef are especially sublime.

23/12/2025: A classic country trattoria-osteria, even though it's in the village. Wooden tables, straw-topped chairs, a slightly dim atmosphere, and an old-fashioned innkeeper feel. Lunches offer very tasty, limited-course meals, typical of Venetian cuisine, accompanied by some excellent wines. Very reasonable prices! If you want to rediscover the flavors of Mamma and Nonna, come here.

19/09/2025: I'd already stopped by here when a loved one had an operation at the nearby hospital, and it was truly reassuring to know there was a place where I could eat gluten-free in complete safety. The gluten-free products are from Brio Bakery. The pastry shop staff is kind and attentive. Today I ate two mini pizzas and a mini tart, all safe and delicious. Thank you so much for the service. Also, despite being a pastry shop, they maintain continuous hours, which is very convenient. Well done!

11/08/2025: An excellent aperitif at Enoteca del Bugiardo, in the heart of Valpolicella! The ambiance is meticulously crafted, with a rustic yet elegant interior that instantly creates a sense of ambiance. We enjoyed Cantina Buglioni wines, the true stars of the evening: intense, balanced, and perfectly paired with the charcuterie and cheese platters. The focaccia was fragrant and served with meticulous attention to detail. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, ready to passionately describe each wine. An ideal place for those seeking quality, relaxation, and an authentic food and wine experience. We'll definitely be back!

07/08/2025: The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, modern yet warm (the barrel planks decorating the walls are particularly attractive). The selection of high-quality cured meats and cheeses is excellent, along with quality wines at a fair price. The added value of the place was the friendly company of Mr. Fabio, who explained to us with great expertise and passion the characteristics of the Buglioni winery's wines and Valpolicella in general. A truly excellent ambassador for the winery!
