14/03/2026: We went to Melotti for our baby's baptism lunch, and everyone was truly satisfied with the choice.
It could be considered a pillar of rice here in Isola della Scala.
Almost the entire menu is rice-based, and most importantly, it's certified gluten-free. In addition to traditional risottos (cooked to perfection, truly exceptional!), they offer creative options.
The staff is kind and welcoming.
The only thing I'd say is that I wouldn't consider it suitable for children or strollers due to the limited space. We were given the small room in the entrance, so we went along with it. Despite having children, we needed the restaurant as close to the church as possible, so we made do.
In short, it's absolutely worth a try!

09/03/2026: A simple trattoria as I like it without too many frills and various tidbits, the food is really good, the meat is exquisite and genuine, congratulations for everything, keep it up always like this
06/03/2026: The service was as impersonal as the place itself, it felt like we were at a wake. The meat was decent, nothing special in my opinion. The baked potatoes were inedible: we left them there completely without anyone asking us why.

25/01/2026: I went for a dinner with colleagues; the setting was well-decorated and welcoming. The pizza dough was good, thinly rolled out. It's a shame that the mushroom sauce on mine was spoonfuls of mayonnaise with bits of canned mushrooms, not a proper sauce. Imagine how heavy the mayo pizza is! (Perhaps I should specify that it's mayo with mushrooms; a customer will understand what kind of pizza they're getting.) Anyway, it's the first time in my life I couldn't finish a pizza at a restaurant. The tiramisu isn't exceptional at all, in my opinion; the Spanish sponge cake with cream, on the other hand, is very good.
30/12/2025: The food was great, the waiter was also very polite and happy. You can enjoy a true italian vibe here.

The restaurant is well-known, and it lives up to expectations of tasty, honest local cuisine.
I personally enjoyed the Valpolicella Superiore.

A simple restaurant with a large outdoor garden, ideal for children.

16/03/2026: Very nice place, excellent quality ingredients. I went for dinner with my girlfriend.
The wine list has excellent labels; we had a truly delicious Florentine steak accompanied by the best grilled vegetables we've ever had! I highly recommend the Torta delle Rose... I was moved with every bite.
A special thanks to all the staff and the owner.
28/02/2026: Dinner with friends, a welcoming and refined atmosphere in the same location as the butcher/deli open during the day. We had a wonderful meal, with top-quality meat and pasta dishes. The tiramisu was exceptional, freshly made. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We'll be back soon. Highly recommended!

20/02/2026: Welcoming atmosphere (better inside than outside). We stopped for breakfast, which I thought was a bit pricey for the place (€3 for a cappuccino and croissant) and could be much better in terms of quality (the cappuccino was homemade latte-style and burnt).
It seemed a bit stuck in the '70s...
Lunch and dinner are probably better.
Parking lot for heavy vehicles, but with large potholes.

05/10/2025: Truly a terrible restaurant. We had to wait two hours before being seated at a table, due to utterly ineffective service and time management. The staff's slowness and incompetence in organizing and planning were evident, compromising the overall experience.

The quality and quantity were no longer as they were in previous years.
