19/08/2025: A renowned and excellent risotto restaurant in Isola della Scala. I've been there more than once and have always been delighted: from the service to the food to the wines. Fair prices and excellent food quality. Among my favorite risottos are the pumpkin risotto, the leek risotto, and the scallops risotto.
09/08/2025: Rustic and comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff. We ordered an appetizer of arancini with rice in Amarone and Gorgonzola, truly exceptional, followed by risotto all'isolana and risotto with lilac rice, shrimp, and lemon: both delicious, the rice perfectly cooked. We finished with sbrisolona and zabaglione and rice cake tiramisu, both very good, and a special mention for the tiramisu, which was soft, smooth, and flavorful with a fresh mascarpone...it melted in your mouth. The price was more than fair. Recommended.

The risotto all'isolana is a must, while the pizzas, thin and well-seasoned, satisfy even the most demanding palates. The staff is friendly and the service is quick, making the place ideal for business lunches.

28/07/2025: From the outside, the place isn't very attractive, but inside it's very nice and well-kept. I think it was recently renovated, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. If I have to make a complaint, if a dish on the menu is missing, it's best to let the diners know immediately. Apart from that, the dishes are excellent, well-presented and plentiful. There's also a risotto for one person, which I've never seen before. If you're interested, there's a workers' menu. Being in the center, there's no parking, but it's nearby. I think I'll be back to try some other dishes.

18/07/2025: A little corner of paradise in the countryside around Isola della Scala.
A charming setting with an 18th-century villa as a backdrop.
Many people come here for a refreshing break after a bike ride or a walk...but it's also great for finding some peace and quiet after a busy day!
I haven't tried the restaurant yet, but I've been for an aperitif or an al fresco breakfast.
Sandwiches made with quality cured meats.
I just suggest getting some croissants in the morning to accompany the coffee shop's products.

Agriturismo San Gabriele

08/06/2025: Beautiful place surrounded by greenery, kind and good staff. We ate well and abundantly, outside there is a wonderful park where children can play safely. I recommend it.

We were guests in this farmhouse surrounded by greenery and tranquility.
Peculiarity, the rice grown at km 0 of excellent quality... I highly recommend!!!

08/08/2025: I asked for a pizza with brie and they put the slice of cheese on it without saying that they didn't have any more brie.
08/08/2025: I stopped by on my way back from a day out in the Verona area with my family. All four of us ate pizza, and despite the false myth of the electric oven, it was very good. Credit to the family-run business and for maintaining the paper orders, 1-liter bottle of water, dessert trolley, and old-fashioned prices (€5 for a Margherita!).

A rural setting renovated while maintaining its rustic essence.
21/04/2025: Went on Easter Monday for lunch with the family. Despite the cloudy day we appreciated the outdoor space, where there is a small football pitch, a children's playground and you can see many farmyard animals. The menu, as we knew, was fixed. An appetizer consisting of mixed cold cuts with cheese. Very good. The first was the typical risotto with tastasal, much appreciated. Second mixed grill with potatoes and fresh vegetables from the buffet. Cake and coffee, those are good too. On the table a bottle of white, one of red and both sparkling and still water for every 5 people. There were 10 of us and we had a great time and ate everything to taste. Advised

21/04/2025: Trattasi di un agriturismo immerso nel verde. Un'unica stanza ma con tavoli abbastanza distanziati. Il piatto forte sono i risotti Co gusti che cambiano a seconda della stagione, ma buoni anche i maccheroni al sugo d'asino. Dol i sempre fatti in casa, ottima torta di mele e cioccolato pere. Liquorini offerti alla fine. Gentili i gestori. Prezzo più che onesto. Merita.
