05/10/2024: Sono stato per la prima volta in questo trattoria consigliato da un amico . L’ambiente è gradevole, fuori dal centro di isola della scala , in mezzo ai campi facile da raggiungere. Abbiamo mangiato risotto all’isolana , polenta con funghi e chatoeaubriand . Il risotto buono, la carne il piatto forte , ottime le patate di contorno , i dolci veramente buoni accompagnato il tutto da un ottimo valpolicella classico superiore . Prezzo più che onesto rapportato alla qualità del cibo. Da tornarci

30/08/2024: Ammetto che la carne è di ottima qualità ma non credo che questo basti. Trovo che tutto il resto sia molto approssimativo. Le verdure alla griglia erano praticamente crude e i dolci poco curati. Ho ordinato lo scamone con pomodorini e avevo balsamico. Per quanto la carne fosse buona, credo che si potesse mettere più amore nella presentazione. I pomodorini erano semplicemente lavati e tagliati a metà, senza un filo di cura, se li avessi fatti a casa li avrei conditi, magari fatti confit o caramellati. Insomma, se esco a cena e pago un secondo 20 euro lo voglio ben preparato. se deve sembrare un piatto che posso preparare a casa, in velocità, con la carne di una buona macelleria, lo faccio e spendo la metà.

Other products are also good and a huge choice of risottos. I always stock up on their products that are sold to the public. Friendly and precise service. Highly recommended.

21/09/2024: A must for risotto lovers! If you're in the area, a visit to the Rice Pope shouldn't be missed! The risottos are simply fantastic – tasty and creatively prepared. There is also a good selection of wines that go perfectly with the dishes. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here. For the quality you get, the prices are more than fair. We'll definitely be back!

13/08/2024: The food was delicious, the beers were also excellent, the service was excellent. The restaurant was discreet outside, the garden was cool, and it's a nice idea for those with children to leave them free to let off steam.

29/10/2024: Provato per la prima volta per un recente pranzo cresimale, l'Agriturismo San Gabriele, immerso nella bassa pianura veronese, mi ha colpito per i piatti della tradizione locale cucinati in maniera impeccabile (in particolar modo per il risotto zucca e speck ed il brasato all'amarone) ma anche per la cortesia ed il servizio di tutti, camerieri compresi, e per l'ampia disponibilità di posti a sedere, divisi in tre sale, con arredamento rustico ma ben curato. Decisamente interessante il parco giochi per i più piccini, l'ampio verde circostante e la possibilità di visitare alcuni animali dell'agriturismo stesso; lo spazio per il parcheggio non manca e ciò lo rende particolarmente adatto per pranzi o cene per grandi gruppi, ma non solo questi ovviamente..

21/07/2024: We went with friends for dinner, a highly recommended place, excellent value for money...very kind staff...clean place, tastefully furnished, superlative meat and excellent first courses not to mention the desserts...we will definitely be back.

10/12/2024: L’8 dicembre ci siamo recate in 10 persone presso la trattoria ed è stata una pessima esperienza. Quando siamo arrivati non avevano la prenotazione e continuavano ad insinuare che non era stata fatta. Non solo, una volta la tavolo è uscita anche la cuoca/titolare dalla cucina sbraitando in maniera decisamente maleducata dicendoci che siamo fortunati se ci preparavano un tavolo e non curante del disturbo che stava arrecando anche agli altri tavoli con la sua rozzezza. Il risotto era decisamente mediocre, il bollito aveva un cotechino con un sapore non buono, le verdure molto povere e la pearà era bruciata. Molto discutibile la pulizia perché nel piccolo corridoio esterno che c’è tra le due sale c’è una gran sporcizia. Da lì si vede anche la cucina, che non pare tra le più pulite. Pure il bagno non era pulito. Credo che quanto ad igiene ci sia moltissimo da fare. Inoltre, con noi c’era una persona diabetica e alla semplice domanda al personale di sala “quanto tempo dobbiamo aspettare prima di avere il cibo visto che dobbiamo calcolare il tempo per l’insulina?” la risposta è stata che visto che non abbiamo prenotato (cosa non tra l’altro non vera) siamo fortunati che ci portano il cibo quindi non sapevano. Ovviamente la persona diabetica ha poi mangiato tutto freddo! Direi che concludendo: organizzazione assente, qualità del cibo pessima, igiene scarsa, maleducazione abbondante. Non tornerò e non farò di certo una buona pubblicità.
