29/12/2024: Nice place in a very charming town along the lake...well-balanced and tasty dishes...it's a shame about the service being too insistent and heavy (at the turn of the holidays you can't ask for a menu from appetizer to dessert with insistence and then make some faces with grimaces!!!!) I would like to go with a restaurateur for lunch one time to see how much he orders?

21/10/2024: Been coming here for almost 20 years, it used to be really good.
Pizza from the wood oven, unfortunately it is no longer there today.
It's still ok to eat, but previously at the old CHEF, the food was much tastier and of a higher quality.
It's a shame, I'll have to look for alternatives in the future...

04/11/2024: My family and I have always been coming to this restaurant, we are loyal customers. We have always eaten divinely. Never a bad or bad dish, always delicious. Lately the quality and refinement of the dishes has been increasing, congratulations to the chefs!!! Yesterday I had the dumplings with gorgonzola and speck: incredible, delicious. For dessert we took castagnaccio, for those who love chestnuts it is the perfect dessert, delicate and soft.

The friendliness, friendliness and welcome of all the staff inside are very positive. Compliments! Very good food from both lake and sea, excellent homemade pasta! I highly recommend! To return.

02/01/2025: It's a shame that children are no longer welcome here. Things used to be different, especially since the boss has children himself, which is inexplicable to us. Here we only rely on wealthy guests. Hotel for the better society. This development is probably due to the Nin star restaurant restaurant. It's a shame, because we enjoyed being guests there.

03/11/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante a conduzione familiare due volte, e ce ne saranno sicuramente altre; cibo di assoluta qualità sempre impeccabile, piatti molto curati e personale sempre super accogliente e gentile. Prezzi in linea con il servizio e la qualità proposta, siate sicuri che uscirete a pancia piena. Ottimo anche per gli amanti del Gin.
11/10/2024: Leider haben wir lange nicht mehr so schlecht in Italien gegessen. Vorspeisen lieblos, Pasta versalzen und das Lamm kam im matschigen Brotteig mit einer undefinierbaren sauren Sauce und lauwarmes verkochtes Gemüse. Schade, und das zu Preisen eines Sternelokals. Der Service war freundlich, aber obwohl die nicht essbaren Pasta sofort zurückgingen standen sie trotzdem mit 20€ auf der Rechnung.
Fazit: das geht besser!

23/09/2024: Das Lokal wurde uns in unserem Hotel empfohlen. Es war für uns zunächst schwer zu finden, dann wurden wir aber belohnt.
Wir saßen draußen an einem schönen urigen Platz, das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen sehr gut und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.
01/09/2024: Mitten im Zentrum von Castelletto oberhalb der Gardesana findet man diese noch ursprüngliche Trattoria, die aber natürlich auch von den Touristenmassen gestürmt wird. Trotzdem hat sie sich einen tollen Piazza-Flair bewahrt, der selten geworden ist.
Das Essen ist Trattoria-typisch ohne Pizza, dafür mit tollen Pasta und einer wirklich sehr guten Tagliata. Die war auf den Punkt gebraten und äußerst schmackhaft. Gerne wieder!

20/08/2024: Obviously, the view is superb. But add to that pleasant and efficient service and, above all, excellent cuisine and you have what makes La Zattera a must.

14/08/2024: We had an easy salad and a piadina estiva. I had to take the piadina because there were no more burgers. The salad was tasty and a good portion too. The Piadine wasn't really tasty and not cheap. Small portion. Maybe enough for children. The service is actually friendly but seems listless and hardly talks.
All in all, only recommended as a small snack when passing by. Otherwise, it's better to go to the other restaurants on the small boat dock.

30/11/2024: In assoluto uno dei migliori ristoranti di pesce di lago del Garda, con ricette tradizionali ed una varietà di pesci, anche cosiddetti poveri (ma straordinari), che non si trovano altrove. Raccomandati i filetti di cavedano e triotto, le sarde di lago (agoni) in mille versioni, i filetti e tranci di cavedano fritti, le polpette di cavedano in dalsa piccante, il tradizionale sisan (ristretto di cipolle dorate con pesce essiccato) e gli stupendi spaghetti con le agole o aole (alborelle, purtroppo estinte nel Garda, che il Capitano si procura da un allevamento specializzato). Non male anche il bianco della casa: un nosiola trentino molto secvo. Indimenticabile e una tappa obbligata più volte l'anno.
30/11/2024: We don't eat lake fish and we can't eat desserts but those who were at other tables indicated their great appreciation for the cuisine. We would have liked veal and it wasn't there but the mixed salad was wonderful. Good experience
