26/01/2025: Dopo tanti anni , la curiosità mi ha spinto a portare alcuni amici ( intenditori appassionati di cucina ) alla trattoria Al Boccolo. Ambiente carino ed accogliente, personale gentile e talvolta fin troppo disponibile. Piatti originali e realizzati con materie prime di grande qualità , ricca lista di vini e selezioni d’olio eccellenti. Anche i dolci ci hanno sorpreso positivamente. Prezzi certamente non da trattoria ma in linea con la qualità dei piatti e del servizio offerto. Due soli dettagli , sui cui far riflettere i gestori: la presenza di un profumatore automatico posizionato vicino al nostro tavolo , che alterava leggermente il profumo delle pietanze servite e la temperatura dei piatti (stoviglie) che sarebbe stato preferibile servire leggermente riscaldati. Si tratta certamente di piccoli dettagli, che non influiscono nella valutazione generale ; 5 STELLE.

Hopefully, during the winter season (which isn't even too cold outside) it can be a little warmer inside! However, now that I have finished eating an exquisite and generous plate of pasta with meat sauce (I also asked that the pasta be well cooked otherwise here as everywhere else they would serve it almost raw), very good😋 Now I have also finally warmed up, so I promoted with a nice 10. The cover charge costs 1.50, so a pasta with meat sauce sitting at the table costs 9 euros (without water) like in the restaurant, but at Ostè a simple map under the plate and with a little cold due to a particular air flow. Molto gentile e disponibile pure il personale. Ho trovato però eccessivo il prezzo della pizza boscaiola scelta da mia figlia. La cameriera ha proposto l' aggiunta di un po'di funghi freschi, che ha accettato, pero' al momento del conto, il costo di € 14,50 l' ho trovato davvero eccessivo!!! La quantità di funghi freschi era minima (c'era cmq. la presenza di funghi in scatola) e non parliamo di una pizza ai Porcini Freschi, ma qualche chiodino aggiunto... Eccessivo anche il costo del coperto, € 2,50 (tovaglioli di carta).

From the first meeting, Federica won us over with her enthusiasm, her professionalism and her proposals perfectly in line with our needs. The menu he created for us was a perfect union between our two regions of origin, Veneto and Campania, with sweet and savory specialties that won over all the guests. From the beginning, Federica was available to answer any questions and allowed us to do a menu test in the same period of the previous year, to taste the dishes with the same raw materials that we would have had on the wedding day. On the day of the event, his attention to detail and thoughtfulness were priceless. He welcomed us personally upon arrival, helping the bride out of the car and announcing us into the room with great warmth. She promptly handled every unexpected event, such as the presence of two extra guests, immediately finding a solution, and even took care of having the button sewn on the bride's father's waistcoat, they assembled the cage for our dog, handled demanding guests and even a request for a vegetarian menu communicated at the last moment. The food? Sublime. Each course was an explosion of flavours, and the wedding cake was simply fantastic. But most of all, we felt like family. Federica and her team were not only impeccable, but also engaging and thoughtful.
