23/04/2026: Empty bar: I sit at a table in the back, ordering a croissant and cappuccino, pay in advance, and tell the cashier I'm sitting there because I'm working for a moment. Half a second later, as soon as I'm seated, the waitress calls me loudly from the counter and tells me to sit at a smaller table because, if four people were to arrive, the table would be occupied. I politely point out that the place is empty and that if four people were to arrive, I'd leave anyway, but I obey and sit at the smaller table. After a minute, another woman arrives, spreads all her documents out on the table for four, and starts working, as I was supposed to. Too bad I'd already paid. Never again. Thank goodness you mentioned the kindness of the staff 😉. The cream-filled brioche is good, the cappuccino is so-so, and it's €3.90.

13/12/2025: Wow wow wow. These gnocchi are phenomenal. The owners are friendly and kind. I'm curious to try other dishes. Perfect for lunch and a spritz.

13/10/2025: It was the WORST experience of my life do yourself a favour and do not go. The service was horrible we got told what we could eat, no proper menu and uneasy environment. Now the worst part was the food. The pasta sauce came out of a glass jar and shoved in a microwave. Would give a lower rating if I could but I can’t. DO NOT GO

02/07/2026: I stopped at the bar for breakfast, which wasn't to my liking, the brioche was a bit dry and they barely greeted me, a little kindness wouldn't hurt.

24/03/2026: A great variety of pastries and biscuits. Came for morning coffee fix with some pastries. Bought some biscuits to giveaway to friends. Most of them sold by weight. Shockingly the bill ended up to more than €60.

14/08/2025: The portions are small but tasty, for children and women's stomachs it's okay, but men need to order two dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. It's a pity that getting there by car is a winding road and there's nowhere to park, it's always full of people.

27/03/2026: When you have that craving that you have to satisfy, or rather, double the craving? What can I say, everything was delicious. Good quality, good taste, good everything... courtesy and professionalism... We'll be back to try the rest of the menu.

17/05/2026: A place where chaos reigns, and every year they become more disorganized. Impossible to get in, and lines last for hours. They won't even let you in if you're a girl and alone. Even though I told the guy outside right away, it was already very late and I was the last one in my group, so he left me out for 40 minutes alone among Erasmus students. This isn't Milan, so get over it. A place for kids.

02/05/2026: A small pastry shop in a quiet, green square, with outdoor seating. Delicious brioche. I'll try something else. But in the meantime, I'm a winner!

29/03/2026: For Palm Sunday, I ordered Chantilly cream with cream, chocolate cream puffs, and St. Joseph's zeppole. The Chantilly cream was bland and flavorless (a shame, because the cream puff dough was good). The chocolate cream puffs were decent, but nothing special. The zeppole were good, but average: you can find better. The price (€35 for 15 pieces) is decidedly high for the quality and size of the products. The staff was friendly, but the overall experience doesn't justify a higher rating.

05/07/2026: ❌ Unacceptable rudeness and total disrespect (0 Stars) I'm giving one star because zero isn't an option. I approached the counter and very politely asked the two ladies serving me, "I'm sitting at the table in front of you. I'd like to order a draft beer, but I need to know the ingredients due to some food intolerances." One of them responded with a curt and annoyed response: "Beer ingredients? Sorry, it's just beer!" When I asked for help, since I couldn't read the label behind the counter from where I was, I was told with great annoyance that the ingredients weren't listed and that "I'd be better off getting something else." The most absurd thing is that the ingredients were clearly written and visible behind them. All it took was a little courtesy to turn around and read them, instead of responding in such an impolite tone. I find this behavior truly unacceptable. Being treated with such annoyance and condescension simply for asking a legitimate question is intolerable. Such a welcome, completely lacking in courtesy and professionalism, ruins the customer experience. I left deeply disappointed and disappointed by the treatment I received. Terrible service, stay away.

03/07/2026: The owner is very kind. The waitresses, a little less so. One girl made us move from a table, saying the aisle between it and the wall needed to be kept clear. Then someone else arrived, sat down, and she served him calmly. The hot sandwiches are delicious. The Spritz is average, and costs €4, a reasonable price.

18/05/2026: You wait 20 minutes for 3 coffees and 2 croissants, and after 20 minutes they tell you they only have one. Just as everything arrives, you eat it, and you go to pay, they ask you for the table number, WHICH IS MISSING. And to top it all off, the lady even allows herself to make a little joke about how easy it was to find the table number (which wasn't there). I feel sorry for the waiters, who are so kind and work here.

12/05/2026: I never write negative reviews, but I just can't stay silent here. First and foremost, the food was terrible. Two out of three dishes were oversalted. It's unbelievable how Italians can't make pasta carbonara. Instead of bacon, there were tiny pieces of bacon, half of which were just charred coals. There was practically no sauce; it was very dry and overly salty, and very little. Secondly, the service was subpar. We waited a long time for menus, then the waiter complained about one dish, although he brought it quickly. Thirdly, the atmosphere was terrible. It would have been better if we had lunch on the steps by the monument; at least there the pigeons wouldn't sit on your head and eat your food. Pigeons, birds that carry infections and diseases, were sitting right on the tables, eating the customers' food. When the wind started blowing, everyone was asked to take their plates (🙈) and go inside. There was no room to sit inside, the place reeked of sweaty socks (sorry, that's true, no exaggeration), and the entire restaurant was filled with crates, like a construction site. Only two couples left while we were there; one didn't get served, and the other didn't get their food. Fourth: they mixed up the dishes we ordered on the bill, and they'd already taken a tip for each person, which we hadn't intended to leave because it was terrible from start to finish. We regret this experience and the €50 we spent. I've never had such a bad meal in my life, even though I'm usually not a picky eater. 😑
