26/02/2025: Our third night in Ararrba we had a fantastic dining experience at Al Forte Restaurant. For our antipasto, we both ordered the deer carpaccio with mixed salad, chanterelles, and balsamic sauce—an exquisite start to the meal. My husband enjoyed the venison with polenta and Tyrolean dumpling, while I thoroughly loved the pear ravioli with blue cheese and walnut sauce. The pasta was incredibly delicate, perfectly complementing the light, flavorful sauce. The service was excellent—the staff had a well-organized system, which makes sense given that many of their guests come from the hotel. Overall, Al Forte is another great place to dine when visiting Arabba!
19/02/2025: A very pleasant environment, it seems to be a former fortress. Stone walls and stairs. Good food, service and pleasant atmosphere. And the toilet is worth a visit.

20/01/2025: Typical mountain restaurant, kindness and availability in satisfying customer requests. Excellent pizza, I can't review the restaurant at the moment as the pizza always has the upper hand. The strudel with vanilla sauce is excellent. Honest prices. Highly recommended.

05/11/2024: Stayed for one night to be close to the start of the trek. Nothing to complain about, rooms a bit 90s style but very comfortable, warm beds and everything very clean. Very kind and helpful staff, no problems even if we arrived late. At breakfast there was fresh bread with jam, very fresh speck and cheese.
11/09/2024: We stayed at La Baita during our girl friends Dolomites trip. We were delighted by the clean room and rustic mountain decorations. The food was the best we have had so far at Italy. We were challenged by the Italian public transportation system. The hosts were extremely helpful and went out of their way to arrange taxi for us at early morning. They even set breakfast specifically for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Baita.

29/12/2024: Cracking little bar - best place for a drink in the evening. Good music (that isn't too loud!), great weißbier and a huuuge range of spirits and wine to try.
Always lovely to get free nibbles woth your drinks too. Can't say a bad thing about this place.

It's 11.30 and, feeling hungry, we get off the chairlift and find this refuge. (We also thought it was the best time to avoid the chaos of lunch).
Few people queuing at the cash register of the snack bars where they sell sandwiches and drinks.
More than 20 minutes of waiting to get the receipt, there must have been 10 people in line to say the least.
Another 15 minutes to collect the sandwich... which also had nothing special about it. A guy near us was the first to have a pizza made inside and eat it.
Get a move on guys, people pay handsomely for the ski pass and want to ski.

15/01/2025: Se non fosse per le tovaglie bucate le puntine al tavolo, il cartello con puntine sul tavolo per indicare di pagare prima, si potrebbe anche tenere in considerazione.
Ma l'offerta in zona è più ampia e gradevole.

07/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati a mangiare in questo ristorante, molto caratteristico. Il barista che ci ha servito è stato molto cortese e professionale. Ottimo anche il cibo e la birra!

04/09/2024: Excellent staff, food, and lodging. Stayed one night as part of a hut to hut hiking tour. Accommodations were not only comfortable but beautifully put together. Food was excellent. A wonderful place to rest after an all day hike.
21/08/2024: Arrivati alle 16.00 dopo la discesa dal sas de stria, ci siamo fermati per mangiare qualcosa ma con grande sorpresa e fame ci hanno detto che la cucina era chiusa . Neanche un panino ci hanno voluto fare. Da evitare assolutamente

20/12/2024: Their pizzas are big in size and pretty good. Beer comes in 0.4L size glasses, but you pay for 0.5L of beer.
Other meals we tried I would not recommend.
Quiet and cosy ambient and friendly stuff.
18/12/2024: We spent here wonderful evening - ate delicious food , pizza and desserts are excellent! All of us -35 people were more than satisfied with food , drinks and service ! We surely come back here , and recommend the place !!

17/06/2024: Posizione invidiabile proprio al centro del paesino di Arabba. Hotel molto molto datato ma ben tenuto, le camere pulite ma purtroppo nel 2024 ancora con la moquette, proprietario gentile e disponibile. Avevamo la mezza pensione e qui arrivano le note dolenti, personale di sala impreparato ( a parte il maitre) e qualcuna anche poco educata, non ci lavora neanche un italiano e nei piatti si vede eccome. Mangiato male sia a cena che a colazione, piuttosto scadente come qualità soprattutto gli affettati.
E' pur sempre un 2 stelle ma basterebbe poco per migliorarsi
21/03/2024: …mehr aber auch nicht. Die Atmosphäre ist irgendwie komisch, das Servicepersonal zwar fix, aber unpersönlich. Die Pizza, die ich gegessen hatte, ging so. Alles in allem ok, mehr aber nicht.

04/01/2025: Rifugio appena fuori dalle piste più turistiche del giro dei 4 passi, ma comunque raggiungibile facilmente.
Ambiente moderno, con panorama pazzesco. Ristorante a self service, ma di buona qualità e non dà l’impressione di essere una mensa. Ottima la zuppa di gulash. Prezzi lievemente sotto la media del posto.
30/12/2024: Posto molto carino e accogliente, ci sono andato da solo, saletta tranquilla e con musica anni 70-80-90!! 😁
