13/08/2026: The waiters were very kind and helpful, the wait times were standard, and the prices were good for the quality. The €11 Pastim was particularly appreciated, as it was a huge meal.
It was a shame we were surprised to get the tagliatelle with venison ragù for €17 (off the daily menu). The regular ones were €8, but we didn't know the price difference. We expected them to be more expensive, but not more than double.
The rest of the dishes were excellent. They are NOT certified gluten-free, but they still make the main courses carefully enough to not bother those with intolerances.
I would gladly return without ordering the off-menu items.
12/08/2026: Excellent family restaurant just outside Agordo, well-executed traditional dishes. I recommend the venison ossobuco! The location is well-maintained, especially on the upper floor.

21/02/2026: The pizza was completely burnt and overpriced, with acceptable toppings. The dishes should be inspected before being served. I wouldn't return.

30/07/2026: I'd love to describe the dishes, tell you about the service, give you details about the ambiance, and rate the value for money, but alas, I can't...because, despite having booked the day before and being greeted with a friendly "we'll see you tomorrow," I arrived at the restaurant at the appointed time and it was closed! I called again for an explanation and was dismissed with a terse "obviously whoever answered yesterday didn't know we'd be closed today."

Rifugio Bruto Carestiato

28/05/2025: Valida meta finale per una passeggiata davvero per tutti. Con un percorso di circa una ora tra boschi e belle vedute si raggiunge, dal Passo Duran, questo rifugio, frequentatissimo anche perché da qui si possono fare poi anche tante altre escursioni. Il sentiero di andata è in gran parte (soprattutto quella iniziale) in salita. Non ci sono tratti pericolosi ma richiede un minimo di attenzione, specie la salita iniziale attraverso i prati dove il sentiero, in periodo piovosi, può risultare un po’ scivoloso. Il ritorno può essere effettuato utilizzando la ‘strada’ riservata ai mezzi del rifugio, che è un po’ più lunga ma vi consente di fare un percorso diverso da quello di andata con viste differenti. Al rifugio trovate snack dolci e salati oppure il servizio ristorante. Il luogo è accogliente, le tavolate all’aperto invitano al relax e alla sosta consumando qualcosa. Io opto per un panino con il pastin e un bicchiere di vino bianco comune. Resto soddisfatto, la carne è ottima. Un unico appunto: io avrei gradito il pane un minimo scaldato. Magari non lo hanno fatto per fretta, oppure non lo fanno per sistema ritenendo che non vada fatto. La mia valutazione personale è però che con il pane scaldato il panino si valorizza molto di più.
