03/05/2025: I discovered this restaurant thanks to the instructions of a lady who works in a pastry shop in the town, when I arrived I was welcomed into a beautiful environment, made to sit down then I went to the boss, I was brought a very welcome entree of Russian salad, the serving came into view, a truly beautiful dish with various sauces and anchovies which were the death of them with the excellent meat truly perhaps the best serving I have eaten, then I moved on to the asparagus, what can I say spectacular, all in a setting of impeccable service and kind. Congratulations to all

Nice location. Two of us had an appetizer, a first course for me and a second course for my husband.
The starter arrived together with my first course... Bad move. And then came his second.
My first sedanini with smoked trout was nothing special. Too al dente for my taste and the little pieces of trout were barely visible. My husband was satisfied with the fillet.
Waitress not smiling and apparently annoyed. He didn't understand that we were going to share the starter. My husband asked her if it was possible to replace the side dish included in the second course (according to him, only potatoes were included) with a salad. At first she said it wasn't possible but that she would go and ask and then it happened
forgot The other waiter probably the owner was kinder and knew what to do and said that there was no problem with the salad.
Too bad...I would have liked to feel better.
05/05/2025: Siamo stati a mangiare la sera in questo ristorante ed io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati molto delusi sulla fonduta che proponevano in menù, mai sentito parlare di fonduta fatte con la panna è uno scempio una bestemmia alla cucina locale della valle d'Aosta... Sicuramente se avete voglia di fonduta questo è un posto dove non venire, cameriere molto scortese nei miei riguardi quando gli abbiamo fatto presente della fonduta chiedendo spiegazioni sembrava infastidito della cosa con un brutto modo di fare... Solo i secondi si sono salvati... Mai più

My wife and I visited this charming, family-run restaurant last night, and it was truly one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a warm and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The attention to detail and passion for food and wine were evident in every aspect of our visit.
We started with a delightful selection of cheeses and charcuterie, beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic flavors. For the main course, we chose the Beef Tenderloin, which was expertly grilled rare over a wood stove by the mother of the sommelier who runs the place. The meat, sourced from local white cattle in Piemonte, was incredibly tender and had a subtle firewood aroma that added a rustic, smoky depth to each bite.
To complement our meal, the sommelier recommended a fantastic local red wine—Cave Gargantua’s 2022 Pierre, made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the north-facing slopes of the Aosta Valley. It was the perfect pairing, enhancing the flavors of the beef with its elegant structure and refined character.
To round off the evening, we enjoyed a smooth and aromatic Grappa alongside a rich, perfectly brewed espresso. It was the ideal way to end a truly exceptional meal.
Since the restaurant operates on a reservation-only basis, we made our booking on the same day, which worked out well. In addition to the incredible dining experience, they also offer a few charming hotel rooms, making it a wonderful destination for a full getaway.
This place is absolutely worth traveling for—whether for the outstanding food, the carefully curated wines, or the genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

13/04/2025: Nach langer Suche haben wir uns für dieses von außen unscheinbare Lokal entschieden und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Besitzer und alle Angestellten sind super freundlich. Die Atmosphäre ist fast schon familiär. Die Pizzen sind unfassbar lecker, besonders zu empfehlen sind die regionalen mit Spezialitäten aus dem Aostatal. 100% Weiterempfehlung. Wir werden definitiv auch wiederkommen.
Kleine Tip, am Besten Reservieren.
