23/11/2024: I went through one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. I went to the fortress with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. Late in the evening we wanted to take a hot bath but after a while the hot water stopped coming out due to the broken resistance of the boiler. Then they moved us to another accommodation on the other side of the central gate of the fortress. In the other room they set the air conditioner incorrectly, which was set to the wrong mode and therefore the temperature did not rise and instead of heating it cooled, so we spent the night in the cold. The next morning before we left we spent some time with the small (2 month old) local kittens. These, together with the adult ones, followed us and sought our company, and as we were on the other side of the gate, near the Rock, the kittens came there. In the morning (Friday 22nd) before leaving, Mrs. CATERINA, Mrs. Francesca's colleague, opened the local Labradors which should NOT have been opened before Sunday because one of the two dogs has problems with cats, in particular with cats. puppies, which should have been adopted on Sunday itself. But Mrs. Catherine did not follow the instructions and the dogs came to us and the kittens, and the black labadron attacked us and bit my girlfriend who had the kitten and then took the poor innocent 2 month old creature in its mouth and killed it . My girlfriend and I are huge animal lovers and we were extremely fond of that kitten as we spent a lot of time together during our stay. What happened left us with a profound trauma. I would like to add that when Mrs. Caterina came to lock up the dogs (due to our call for help on the phone because NO ONE was present in the facility at 12 in the morning), she beat the dogs, blamed us for what happened and, despite we were in tears, not even an "everything okay?", but she simply left without looking us in the face. We don't blame the dogs, but the people who run that place. If they tell you that they love nature and animals they are lying. To our desperate calls where we told us what had happened, they replied "eh peace, it's already happened before". I hope they get over this trauma soon. Now the little brother of the little girl who suffered this horror is with us. And we'll treat it a thousand times better than that place ever wanted to. I keep thinking about that little kitten who passed away in our arms. All because of one person who did what they were clearly told not to do. The trauma is great. The memory will remain forever.
01/10/2024: We stayed for a weekend with a group of friends, an enchanting place in the Umbrian countryside, a delightful view, if you want to relax in peace and tranquility it is the ideal place, highly recommended.

17/06/2024: Sinceramente mi aspettavo molto ma molto di meglio avendo letto le recensioni del locale in questione. Siamo stati accolti in modo elegante e gentile dalla donna che poi dovrebbe essere la proprietaria del locale che, gentilmente, ci ha illustrato le loro particolarità culinarie. Abbiamo richiesto due porzioni di fritti misti che sono risultati essere di buon livello anche se un po' troppo abbondanti e anche pesanti. In seguito io ho deciso, dietro info, di prendere dei rigatoni semi integrali che la signora ha detto venivano fatti da loro stessi con loro pasta appunto integrale ma che, oonestamente, non è stata di mio gradimento risultando essere super scotta e molla che peggio non si poteva mangiare, cosa che per altro non ho fatto, lasciandone una buona metà, insomma, non so se dipendesse dal fatto che fosse integrale, non credo, ma cmq davvero immangiabile... Mia moglie ha deciso di prendere una trippa" galleggiante", si esatto proprio che galleggiava nel piatto... Insomma non proprio il massimo. Inoltre aveva richiesto precedentemente un "assaggino" di coratella., ho detto assaggino.... Ebbene, arriviamo al finale Dapprima la signora mi chiede se la pasta non è stata di mio gradimento ed io rispondo, garbatamente, che andava bene anche se la mia faccia... Ma per evitare polemiche si lascia stare, al momento di pagare però non è che la proprietaria ha pensato di dire " beh la pasta non la metto a conto..." altroché! Inoltre quel famoso "assaggino di coratella" è stato gentilmente offerto dalla casa al " modico prezzo di 6 euro"... Due bottiglie di acqua purificata e mezzo litro di vino rosso della casa di buona qualità. Vabbè... Totale 60 euro, sinceramente esagerato per ciò e per come si è mangiato, considerando che spesso andiamo a pranzo fuori in diversi paesi del ternano, Valnerina, Flaminia , a volte quasi ai confini con Marche e Lazio e quindi sappiamo come mangiare e cosa mangiare anche a prezzi più alti a volte ma appunto mangiando decisamente meglio.
Come ho iniziato, finisco... delusione fortissima ma ci sta, non sempre può andare tutto bene...
Forse sarò stato sfortunato?

16/06/2024: Siamo sicuramente stati sfigate poiché capitati di domenica.
La location è pure carina ma non si può accettare troppi clienti quando non si è bene organizzati. Vista la situazione abbiamo solo preso due secondi. Punta di vitello e scottadito di agnello. La punta di vitello appena passabile. L'agnello erano solo ossa, stracotto accompagnato da una cicoria ripassata anch'essa stracotta e legnosa. Lo ribadisco,,saremo stati sfortunati ma le recensioni illuminanti che vedo saranno vere? Di gente che ci capisce o che recensisce a priori?
Provate ma per quanto mi riguarda non proverò l'ebrezza provata oggi.

02/11/2024: The wait is long and the quality is sufficient. But what happened today is disconcerting and worth sharing (read to the end): we choose the fixed menu for two people for 60 euros. The food included is a lot and we decide not to order anything else for our two daughters aged 2 and 4 years, anything else would be wasted. When ordering we felt a bit of tension but, having read other reviews about the owner's proverbial friendliness, we didn't give it too much weight. The appetizer arrives and we also wait for the focaccia included in the menu. Which doesn't arrive. We ask if the focaccia will arrive and we are told, again by the owner, that he must check if it is included. Minutes pass and he doesn't even look at us and serves other tables with a friendliness that makes us start trying to think about what we did wrong. The sin is confessed to us by another waiter who tells us "the focaccia is not included because there are 4 of you and you ordered two menus". It's not the first time I've gone out to dinner and I can understand the needs of a restaurateur but the place is only half full: what disgrace could I have done by not having ordered for two little girls? But above all, couldn't the thing have been noticed immediately without making me suffer this childish spite? An hour and a half passes and the girls are hungry, at that point I ask for a plate of pasta divided by two for them so that they can eat something immediately: result? The look we receive is the kind one might give to beggars and the pasta for the girls still arrives after the one on the menu (half an hour after ordering it).
For me what happened is shocking, this isn't about taste, THIS IS ABOUT HAVING HUMILIATED TWO PEOPLE FOR NOT HAVING ORDERED MORE FOOD TO WASTE.

28/04/2024: Village with very few people living there. Former resort now closed. Lovely place to visit if you are in the area. Only note: we were greeted by two dogs that chased us from the lady who lives there. Place open to the public, but dogs should be kept tied up. She's nice, the place is lovely.
15/04/2024: A jewel of a Borgo! Absolutely worth visiting!
