Great little restaurant. Barley soup was amazing and the schnitzel was very good, along with the fries. Would definitely go back.

I wanted to share my thoughts on this restaurant in the heart of San Martino. We were welcomed by a warm atmosphere, with wooden furnishings and the aromas of authentic mountain food. Although we only went once, we wanted to try other places. This one is definitely worth a return visit. The traditional dishes are truly delicious. Served with care and professionalism. We will definitely be back.

Very welcoming and traditional atmosphere. Delicious and plentiful dishes. Prompt and friendly service. We each had one dish (deer stew with polenta + polenta, grilled cheese, sausage, and mushrooms), a dessert for two, and two glasses of wine. The cost was €45 per person, so it was a bit pricey. However, it was a very positive experience.

27/05/2026: If you're looking for the authentic Trento, far from the tourist traps and rich in character, Osteria Scaletta is the place to be. Don't expect a restaurant or set tables: this is a temple to aperitivo and fine drinks, an old-fashioned osteria that retains its old-world charm. The atmosphere here is simply magnetic. It's the classic warm and welcoming place where people gather for a glass of wine after work, where conversation flows easily and you immediately feel part of a community.
