12/10/2025: The hotel is very comfortable. The staff were friendly, especially the gentleman with the blonde hair. He was very respectful. We arrived late at night, and the receptionist was very welcoming and provided excellent service. They also offer free valet parking. The room was small, but it was beautiful and comfortable. The breakfast was very delicious. I thank the chef for making the pastries with love. The hotel's location is excellent, facing the lake, and the view from the restaurant is amazing. I will come again.

21/11/2025: Our room was on an upper floor and had a view of the lake as well as a small French balcony, large enough to stand on. The hotel was booked by our tour operator for our entire group; we were staying there for an overnight stop. The service was impeccable, and the room was in line with the 3-star category. We would even give it the "S" for Superior, as the furnishings certainly lived up to that standard. The room was clean and of a high quality. Dinner was very good, and breakfast was typical Italian fare, but we were already aware of that. One thing we did notice, however, was that since our room overlooked the lake and the courtyard, it might be advisable to close the windows during the warmer months, as some people aren't always so considerate of their behavior (noise disturbance).

12/11/2025: The food is delicious. The wines are delicious, and the service is fantastic; everyone is incredibly friendly. The waiters remember their customers and know what they need on their next visit. The atmosphere is very pleasant.

08/03/2025: Semplicemente eccezionale. Diciamolo onestamente, trovare locali che cucinano svariati piatti con pesce di lago è davvero dura ma qui ho trovato il tutto davvero unico. Per chi non lo avesse mai mangiato il pesce di lago a un sapore molto delicato e renderlo gustoso senza rovinare il sapore è una impresa ardua, ma qua, sono dei veri maestri. ALTAMENTE RACCOMANDATO A MIO AVVISO. Tornerò sicuramente a trovarvi. Grazie ancora per il meraviglioso pranzo.

21/07/2025: Appena entrati nella ristorante Sud di Riva del Garda, ci si sente subito avvolti dall'atmosfera calda e accogliente del sud Italia. I tavoli in legno, le decorazioni colorate e l'odore delizioso dei piatti tipici ci hanno trasportato in un viaggio sensoriale. Lo staff è stato davvero fantastico: carino e cordiale, con quel tocco tipico del sud che rende l'accoglienza ancora più speciale. Abbiamo assaggiato diverse specialità e ogni morso era un'esplosione di sapori autentici. La pizza era semplicemente deliziosa, con ingredienti freschi e una pasta perfetta, mentre gli antipasti ci hanno fatto sognare di essere in una trattoria sul lungomare. Inoltre, ho apprezzato molto la pulizia del locale, che lo rende perfetto anche per famiglie numerose. Se cercate un posto dove gustare piatti squisiti e sentirvi come a casa, ristorante Sud è assolutamente super consigliata! Assolutamente da tornare

04/04/2025: Capitati un po' per caso abbiamo apprezzato l’ambiente e soprattutto i deliziosi hamburger, oltre all’ottima birra. Un po' deludenti invece, al di là degli effetti scenografici, i dolci. I prezzi sono altini, ma la qualità li giustifica. Consigliato.

09/02/2025: Locale arredato molto bene e curato nei dettagli, vasta e ottima scelta sul menu’ sia per mangiare che come bevande (ottime le birre artigianali). Il servizio molto attento e cortese. Anche il prezzo e’ giusto e rapportato alla qualita’ unico piccolo dettaglia ma che non inficia la recensione perche il locale non e’ consigliato ma obbligatorio andarci se passate da Riva e’ che avevo prenotato tramite the fork e sull’app avevo letto -20% ma magari mi saro’ sbagliato io.

19/08/2025: Great place for a quiet coffee and croissant after an early dog walk. Sometimes a few vehicles but very chilled. Great cappuccino.

28/07/2025: Frozen lasagna for €12... We actually wanted to order food for three people. All three of us chose lasagna. The waitress barely spoke English and apparently didn't understand that we were sharing ONE LASAGNA??!! After 40 minutes, she brought us ONE piece of frozen lasagna divided into three (approx. 2x4cm...). We then wanted to pay for the drinks we'd already had and find another restaurant. The waiter advised us never to come back and asked what he should do with the frozen lasagna that had been warmed up for 40 minutes...😂 We happily comply with the waiter's request not to come back.

29/11/2025: I can't rate the food because the dessert I chose wasn't available. The view is gorgeous.

25/11/2025: It was closed when I visited in November. I walked along the road next to it; it took me half an hour to get up. The view is amazing.

23/04/2025: For anyone who heard the banging from the kitchen, it's upstairs, connected by a latch and is managed by two people. There's only one wine and dessert fridge. Who knows where it went?

12/02/2025: For us, a stay in Riva always includes a visit to the pizzeria La Leonessa. The pizzas are very good and offer excellent value for money.

02/09/2025: They have delicious gelato, and the coffee cream is excellent. I highly recommend it. The staff is very nice and friendly. There are only a few seats.

13/10/2025: I went to Riva to visit two friends who were staying at the Bavaria for a few days. We stayed at the campsite for about six hours, and upon leaving, we were shocked to receive the bill for our stay: For two people + parking, 36 euros. In addition, we encountered rude staff. We certainly wouldn't recommend staying at this campsite, and I think there are better options in Riva.

24/10/2025: An apparent willingness to accommodate us late at night resulted in an opportunity to inflate our bill without explanation: embarrassing and borderline decency. Not recommended.

21/09/2025: A very small, rustic wine bar where you can enjoy a truly excellent wine (and a draft beer, too). The owner is a very friendly guy who offers excellent advice without any pretensions. He has a fantastic selection of wines and grappas, with the cheapest glass starting at just €4. He showed me the bottle of our favorite wine and explained where the winery is in Merano, which worked perfectly with our journey home. We were there every evening and will definitely visit him again the next time we're in Riva.
