10/01/2025: Dopo 3 anni siamo tornati a San Candido e la prima tappa l' abbiamo fatta in questo locale del quale avevamo un ottimo e squisito ricordo...infatti...abbiamo gustato un ottimo antipasto di carpaccio di cervo e sfogliatine di patate con crauti, un risotto al Lagrein e pancetta ( diviso in 2) davvero squisito...ottimo...e le uova con speck e patate...porzioni molto abbondanti e prezzi nella norma. Complimenti 👍

05/01/2025: Durante le nostre vacanze a San Candido è immancabile una (o più) sosta in questo ristorante molto caratteristico. È una certezza ritrovare la stessa gentilezza, efficienza e qualità! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!

18/01/2025: This is how you imagine eating pizza in Italy. As a family we have been to the Pizzeria Tempele several times. Incredibly professional service and large delicious pizza at a very fair price. The pizza base could have been a little crispier. Be sure to reserve!

13/01/2025: I would like to point out that I usually only review positive stays, providing ideas aimed at the growth of the structures in which I spent my holidays. I rarely break this personal rule but only to clarify for those who may be in the same situation as me, hoping it can help, before booking at the accommodation facility. I do this because I also work in the world of hospitality and I think that, if there was greater predisposition towards the traveller, always in compliance with pre-established agreements, the tourist experience would be much better. Having said all this, what happened follows: I contacted the hotel in mid-December 2024, revealing my intention to stay as a couple the first week after the Christmas holidays at an 'advantageous' rate (doing the same job, I know the rule of pricing trend depending on hotel occupancy); My request was accepted and so far everything was fine. I am asked for a deposit, which is regularly paid to the hotel with the promise of seeing me again on January 6th. A few days before, they kindly offered me to bring forward my arrival by one day (since they had unsold rooms) but I couldn't because we were also still working, so we agreed that we would arrive on the day of the epiphany to stay there. a whole week. Unfortunately, due to the flu with a fever of 39 for the undersigned, which broke out on Sunday 5 January 2025, I had to call the facility at the last minute to inform them that I would not be able to come but, knowing that the stay was in penalty, I asked first of all the feasibility of obtaining a voucher to return as soon as I recovered (possibility denied) and secondly I opted to have my partner stay with her parents for the amount booked, and as soon as I recovered there I would have achieved. Unfortunately, the illness continued and my girlfriend, wanting to return to my bedside, tried several times to communicate with the property to find a mediation solution, given that, with an additional person staying overnight (the two parents instead of the signed), the amount of the penalty to be paid had already been reached at the end of the 4th day. Moral of the story, the hotel demanded full payment of the penalty and in addition the third person for all the nights used; therefore, despite an agreed payment of around €1700, we were asked for over €2400 even if we left early, for obvious reasons. Now, not wanting to make it a question of method (which I accept but do not agree with) but of merit and absolutely thanking the availability of the reception, in particular of Miss DANIA, who has always done her best to try to find a compromise solution, I believe that the property could have paid more attention to new customers who, usually holidaying in the upper Engadine or Val Gardena, opted for a lower altitude simply because they were pregnant and would have could choose this hotel as a point of reference for the next holidays with the little one who will come into the world. Too bad, quoting Honoré de Balzac: In business, opportunity is everything!

12/01/2025: Our stay was fantastic, hotel staff is professional and very polite. I would suggest everyone to take a stay at this hotel. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and spa was great.

20/12/2024: We were passing through on Wednesday, and stopped for a quick bite to eat or lunch, all good so far!!! I was charged €51.70 when the receipt I paid was €21.90!!!! The boy at the checkout played a strange game with the receipts, he told everyone she doesn't want it... she doesn't want it... but I said "yes" and he panicked and gave me one , which I honestly didn't watch in good faith!!!! We had a good time, what do you think they are cheating you!!!! And today the bitter surprise!!!! So all the positivity went to hell!!!! You will certainly always have many regular customers, but this does not give you the right to cheat those "hit and run like us!!!" And no one answers the phone for clarification!!!!

18/12/2024: Good dumplings and ravioli. The place is very simple, being a bar. Pleasant waiter.

21/12/2024: Maybe one or zero was better, eating a dish with a stopwatch had never happened to me. Even three waiters in a row asking us the same thing. Well know that that +20 -10 temperature change will now cost me a night of pure fun sitting on the toilet in my room.

04/10/2024: location stupenda solo il panorama ti ripaga della strada che si fa per raggiungere il ristorante. Si mangia divinamente piatti tipici del luogo personale gentilissimo compre il cuoco che con la sua gentilezza è venuto a salutarci e ringraziarci 😍 non mi era mai capitato una esperienza bellissima. Il ristorante lo stra consiglio e lo dice uno che è molto pignolo , prezzi nella media. Un luogo che ristora l'anima.💓💓💓💓

30/09/2024: Bellissima atmosfera. Personale gentile. Ottima la scelta culinaria tipica della zona, buoni i prezzi nella norma. Alla fine del pranzo il gestore ha offerto il digestivo.

06/01/2025: We visited the restaurant with high expectations as it looks very appealing and shows a lot of potential. Unfortunately the visit started a bit disappointingly as we didn't receive a welcome from the presumed boss when we entered - just one in the next room. The service, on the other hand, was very friendly and attentive, which brightened the evening a bit. The starters – venison ragout, salad and soup – were okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately, the children's schnitzel was still raw, which was a big drawback. The main course was also disappointing. The venison, the spinach spaetzle and the grill plate were quite bland in terms of taste. What was particularly annoying was that the chicken in the grill plate wasn't cooked through. Overall a nice restaurant with Lots of potential, but the kitchen needs to work on the quality of the food. A visit could be worthwhile if the points mentioned are improved.
