24/04/2026: We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Hotel Saltria on the Seiser Alm. The location is simply exceptional – waking up in the morning with a view of the Langkofel and Plattkofel mountains is breathtaking every time. The rooms are beautifully and luxuriously furnished; you immediately feel at home. After a day outdoors, the spa area with its warm pool and panoramic views was simply perfect for unwinding. The food also truly impressed us – varied, light, and of very high quality. You can tell that quality is a priority here. We were particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive staff. You feel welcome without it seeming forced. We will definitely be back.

13/04/2026: An exceptionally beautiful hotel. Now with modernized rooms, it's very comfortable and boasts high-quality furnishings. The service staff is very courteous and friendly.

22/03/2026: Vegan hotel with modern, well-maintained and clean rooms. Friendly and attentive service. The food is truly exquisite and tasty, perhaps the best thing about the entire hotel. Like several hotels in the area, it has direct access to the ski slopes and hiking areas. The gourmet dinner was truly appreciated. The breakfast buffet is also excellent.

14/03/2026: We weren't hotel guests, but we had lunch at the à la carte restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, a 10/10, and even my non-vegan father declared the Kaiserschmarren (shredded pancake) the best on the entire Seiser Alm. The only downside was the risotto, whose portion size, at the hefty price of €30(!), was rather outrageous. I wonder who's supposed to get full on that. However, we'll definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Kaiserschmarren, the pizza, and the seitan sandwich. The other dishes were also comparable in value for money to other mountain huts.

29/09/2025: If you feel like a little treat, I’d definitely recommend grabbing a scoop or two of gelato here. It was so good that I completely forgot to take a picture of it. I also didn’t take any photos of the place itself because it was packed with people, and I didn’t want to bother anyone. Both are pretty positive “problems” to have!

12/05/2026: For those seeking tranquility, it's located at the top of the namesake pass at 1,400 meters, with a bus stop nearby. In winter, there's also a small ice-skating rink. With the 3/4 board option, you get a self-service breakfast, afternoon snack, and dinner served with a large buffet of appetizers and entrees. The wellness center, with its panoramic pool and outdoor whirlpools, boasts an indoor pool and whirlpool, a large sauna, a Turkish bath, and a small outdoor pond. The lake was frozen, making it a great place to cool off after the sauna. It's a shame the relaxation areas are too bright and lack background music.

10/04/2026: A hotel surrounded by greenery and strategically located between Alpe di Siusi and Val Gardena, with exceptional amenities such as a pool and spa. Our entire family, two adults and three children, stayed here. It was truly a pleasure to stay at this hotel. This is already our third time. Especially finding the option to all share a room together—a rare thing these days—we really appreciated it. Thank you, Hotel Pinei. See you soon.

15/03/2026: Asparagus weeks are always a treat

08/12/2025: We found it by chance, as all the restaurants in the center of Castelrotto were closed. It was around 1:30 PM, and when we called, they told us the kitchen was open until around 2 PM. As soon as we arrived, they welcomed us kindly, which wasn't exactly expected given the hour. We ate very well, both the dumplings in broth and the excellent venison goulash. The restaurant is five minutes from the center (you need to take the car), but definitely recommended for a quiet stay and good food.

31/07/2025: E’ la prima volta che passiamo le vacanze in questa zona. Dopo una piacevole passeggiata ci siamo trovati nei pressi di questo ristorante. E’ stata una gradevole sorpresa, abbiamo pranzato molto bene, piatti molto abbondanti e curati. Consigliato

26/07/2025: Sono capitata in questo ristorante per puro caso a pranzo e sono rimasta entusiasta!! Non avevamo prenotato e in 5 minuti, nonostante la confusione di persone che aspettava, ci hanno fatto accomodare. Il personale è molto cordiale e professionale. È tutto veramente molto buono, anzi ottimo!! Non perdetevi lo stinco, gli spatzle e uova/patate/speck: favolosi!! I piatti sono molto generosi!! Consigliatissimo!!

17/04/2026: We came here for lunch and it had great views and it was lovely to sit outside in the sun. We shared the beef goulash and the trio of dumplings and spatzle which were both hearty and delicious. The apple strudel was a bit of a let down though. The service was efficient and friendly.

26/03/2026: We ate and drank here. A dry, small schnitzel with a few fries for €20 is quite a lot. The food seemed to be prepared with little care. It felt more like mass production. The view was good.

11/03/2026: We arrived on skis and stopped for a break because of the wonderful atmosphere with the alphorn players. Good service, very friendly. We're planning to come back again.

29/03/2026: Brilliant hotel - ideal for an adult ski trip in the beautiful Dolomites. Slopes are closely located and accessible by bus or transfer. The nearby town is around a 15 minute walk. The room was lovely with a separate sitting area and balcony with amazing views. The staff could not do enough for us - their communication via WhatsApp, even before the trip, was very responsive. The spa with a steam room and sauna was relaxing and a lovely addition, especially after a day's skiing. Grazie mille 😊

16/02/2026: I stayed at the Hotel Hartmann in Ortisei and the experience was simply spectacular. The hotel has an intimate and refined atmosphere, perfect for those seeking relaxation and tranquility. Everything is extremely tidy and meticulously maintained, from the common areas to the rooms, which are tastefully furnished with contemporary Alpine elegance. One of its strong points is undoubtedly the free transfer service to the ski lifts, extremely convenient and punctual. Its proximity to the lifts makes the hotel perfect for both winter skiers and those who want to explore the Dolomites in the summer without stress. The real surprise, however, was the view from the room: simply sensational. Waking up with the Dolomites before your eyes is a feeling difficult to describe. In short: an elegant, welcoming, and perfectly organized hotel, ideal for a quality stay in Ortisei. I would return without hesitation. 🌿🏔️
