16/08/2026: Five of us came for dinner, full of enthusiasm and eager to have a wonderful evening. I'll start with the food, because we have nothing to complain about: everything was delicious, the meat was fresh and well-cooked, and even the beef tartare was truly excellent. We were happy we chose this place and simply wanted to spend a wonderful evening with friends. It's a shame about the service, because our experience was quite absurd. At first, everything was fine: the staff were kind, helpful, and very friendly. We ordered four glasses of wine and, since there were five of us, we asked if we could use the glasses for a toast and a photo. They calmly said yes, also explaining that we could pour the wine into the glasses. No problem. We ordered four appetizers, three first courses, and two second courses, and we also asked if that would be enough for five people. We were told the portions were generous. Since some of us eat very little, we decided to share the dishes and asked for small plates. No problem with the appetizers; they brought them to us without any problem. When the first courses arrived, we asked for small plates again. And that's where everything changed. The gentleman serving us looked at us askance, made a rather annoyed gesture, and from that moment on, he practically stopped paying attention to us. Up until that point, he'd been extremely polite, even asking if we liked the dishes. After the second request for small plates, however, it almost seemed like we'd done him some injustice. When we finished the first courses, another waitress came to clear the table, and we heard the same gentleman tell her not to pick up the small plates. At that point, we realized that those were the problem. Honestly, we even lost the desire to order dessert. We finished the second courses and went to pay. Once we'd paid, looking at the receipt, we saw €5 + €10 "service charge." So we went to ask for an explanation. The answer? The €15 was for the small plates: we'd used 10 for five people, so €1.50 per plate. Now, aside from the fact that charging €1.50 for a small plate seems odd enough, the real problem is that no one told us beforehand that there was an extra charge. If they had told us when we ordered, we would have simply decided whether or not to use them. Instead, we only realized it after we'd already paid, when we checked the receipt. And besides, we were in the basement, and they sent us upstairs to get the receipt: if we hadn't checked it, we would have paid €15 more without even knowing why. In the end, we spoke to the staff and they refunded our €15, so that was the end of the matter. The food, I repeat, is really good and we enjoyed it. However, since many reviews praise the service, we wanted to share our experience as well. So yes, come and eat, because it's worth it. But a word of advice: if you order a small plate, ask how much it costs first, because apparently it's €1.50 each. We hope the service improves, because with such good food, it would be a real shame to ruin the experience.

15/05/2026: We stayed with you for two nights...it's a shame we can only give five stars. Our room alone was more like a five-star hotel in terms of size and amenities. The breakfast buffet and service were also excellent. Underground parking and other parking options are available. In the basement, there's a sauna, steam room, infrared cabin, and relaxation room. Please keep up the great work...when we're back in Bruneck, you'll be our first choice. Thank you from Telfs/Tyrol ❤️

10/06/2026: Third time I've been there, third time the final bill is higher than the menu. Every time there's an excuse... let's say they're a bit down to the taste of those sitting at the table... Staff, I understand the amount of work at lunch, but maybe a smile and a thank you... it doesn't really help much.

12/04/2026: The hosts are absolutely fantastic! They go to great lengths to make us feel welcome and are always coming up with new ideas. They have their own coffee roastery, and the owner even offered us homemade kombucha, which was incredibly delicious. Highly recommended!

07/04/2026: Highly recommended – we'd love to come back! Our whole family spent a weekend at the Hotel Restaurant Langgenhof to celebrate our grandfather's 90th birthday. We received an incredibly warm welcome upon arrival. The entire team was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcome. The atmosphere in the hotel is very welcoming, warm, and authentic – you immediately feel at ease. The team went above and beyond to make the birthday celebration a special occasion, creating a wonderful setting. A truly wonderful stay where we felt completely at ease. ☺️

08/04/2026: Delicious pizzas! We had the "San Daniele" and the "Gypsy." We were treated to complimentary limoncello at the end. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The pizza chef even gave our little son a balloon! :-) Highly recommended!
