10/10/2025: The overall experience was very positive; the place is very well-kept, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is the price for the amount of food served. Otherwise, I recommend it.

06/03/2026: The bread with vegetables, which I'll just call a veggie burger for now, is filled with a ton of mixed grilled vegetables and cheese. They ask if you want onions, which is great because sometimes you have to get right back to work and your clients. Today I went with onions 👍😃. It's really filling ☺️! Super fast and very friendly service to boot 😊. Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

04/02/2026: A top-notch hotel where you can truly relax, thanks to the friendly staff, excellent quality food, cleanliness, cozy atmosphere, regional products in the bar area, lovely spa, great wine cellar, and shuttle bus service to and from the ski lift...etc. You simply feel at ease here; we'll definitely be back.

10/03/2026: Great hotel for wintersport! We had our stay at this family owned hotel for our skiholiday. We were very pleasantly surprised. Very kind staff, nothing you ask is too much. Beautiful hotel with large rooms and nice spa area. Breakfast and diner are of high quality with every evening a different delicious menu. Located at 5 min driving from Kronplatz ski resort ànd the hotel has their own shuttle service! Would recommend 100%

10/03/2026: A wonderful and surprising hotel, and the owners are very friendly and hospitable. We had a wonderful and enjoyable ski holiday, taking the hotel shuttle bus to and from the Krönplatz ski run every day. The food is delicious and healthy, and the breakfast is excellent and extensive, so there's something for everyone. I would definitely return. The ski area is large enough and offers a wide variety of slopes, both in length and color. The return route is only black and very long; the first section is red and perfectly manageable. From the station, I always took the return gondola, which was great.

31/12/2025: I went during the Christmas holidays and I have to say that even though I've been coming to Brunico all my life, I wasn't familiar with it. The best apple mulled wine I've ever had. Inside, you can grab a quick bite or enjoy a meal. You can also buy all kinds of groceries, including a whole corner dedicated to creams and home fragrances. The place is on a street parallel to the main road, so don't miss the opportunity to try it.

18/12/2025: Excellent regional products, made with love. Great selection. There's plenty to try and unique gifts. The products are of very high quality. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Not to mention the online shop, where you can bring a piece of South Tyrol home. Just take a look. It's worth it!

15/01/2026: A truly excellent experience. Delicious food, meticulously prepared both in taste and presentation. The staff is incredibly friendly, always smiling, and incredibly helpful, which really makes the difference. My only small complaint: a little renovation would make the atmosphere even more beautiful and welcoming. Overall, though, a highly recommended restaurant!

14/01/2026: We found ourselves here by chance, and were truly satisfied...the staff was extremely kind and immediately understood our needs. We had a mixed appetizer (delicious), a goulash with gnocchi for our main course (also exceptional), and we finished the meal with strudel (never tasted better). Besides the food, I recommend the drinks; they have a gin that's out of this world.

03/01/2026: The last day of 2025 was the last day of operation for the Goldener Loewe. A heartfelt thank you goes to Didi, his family, and his staff...and we look forward to a new initiative that can once again become a point of reference for Monguelfo.... The quality I've always associated with Didi and his team is: hospitality. The hospitality was further supported by the restaurant offerings, the choice of recipes, and the simple, traditional flavors and tastes. Tradition needs to be reinterpreted, but it is a distinctive feature of this land and, more broadly, of all the lands of Italy, which give strength to diversity... I hope Monguelfo continues to maintain its own identity... without becoming overcrowded with tourism and easy profits... and maintaining the balance between the Dolomites' environment and the woods, the animals, and the people. This is the beauty I've always found here. It's a welcome refuge; when time is short or we arrive at the last minute, we've always found a solution with traditional dishes and delicious flavors. Last Thursday we chose risotto with mushrooms, chanterelles, and porcini mushrooms... and the positive opinion was unanimous.

11/10/2025: Dinner for two. We had booked, specifying a quiet table. We were seated at the entrance, at the walk-through table. The people standing at the bar enjoying aperitifs were less than a meter away from us: it felt like we were in the middle of a market, with the added hustle and bustle of people coming and going. To top it all off, the door leading outside was constantly left open, leaving us eating in a cold draft. The table was too small to hold two glasses and two plates.

28/02/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. At the end, the bartender Mat treated us to a delicious Limoncello.

22/02/2026: The guy who worked there was very friendly. The pizza wasn't amazing, but it was okay. The burger was delicious. The only downside was that they served the food separately. The menu wasn't completely up-to-date. I recommend it, and you'll have a good time.

12/01/2026: The ingredients were good, but the dishes lacked flavor, especially the risotto and ravioli. I rarely write negative reviews, but the service was truly disappointing. The waiter who served us was decidedly rude, snorting, giving us dirty looks, and making unprofessional comments throughout the evening. The only appreciable aspect was the plating, along with some original and interesting combinations of ingredients.

14/03/2026: A small place suitable for a quick meal. Excellent opening times, excellent products, excellent staff.

09/03/2026: I rarely write reviews but this time I think it is the right thing to do. In past we visited this place and it was really good. However today’s visit was disappointing, food quality was the weakest point. I ordered a filet steak medium - first I was given well done then after talking to the waitress (who was very nice) I received steak that was rare but as everybody from my party was already finishing their meals I accepted it. The steak itself was supposed to be a filet well I don’t know what part of tenderloin it was but didn’t look like filet, it was unskined and with a lot of joints. Furthermore the meat was totally tasteless I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Other meals were just ok. Disappointing.

27/02/2026: We were there today and were unfortunately very disappointed. It started with a dirty table not being wiped down, which should be standard practice in any restaurant. The menus we received were covered in crumbs, grease stains, and other grime on the sides. The food was moderately disappointing. Other restaurants in the ski area offer significantly better value for money in terms of both taste and portion size. The plate of fried potatoes was two-thirds empty, and you could count the potatoes. You don't expect Michelin-starred cuisine on the slopes, but we were still disappointed overall. The service was a bit rushed and took our plates away while we were still chewing. Otherwise, it was okay. Prices are naturally a bit higher in a tourist area. But you get more for less on the mountain, where logistics are even more challenging. Therefore, I don't recommend this restaurant and suggest other restaurants on the mountain, although even there, some mountain huts exploit tourism. This restaurant can rest on its laurels, being ideally located in a tourist area right on the ski slopes, and is guaranteed customers regardless. With that volume, it doesn't matter whether each individual customer was satisfied and returns.

22/02/2026: We stayed there for several days and would like to clarify our review as follows: Pizza: Great, but some pretty wild variations. Fries? They weren't that great. Spaghetti Carbonara: Twice excellent, once so-so, as the bacon was soggy with sauce. No cream sauce – excellent, good ham, possibly a pre-made sauce – but good nonetheless. Tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms – was a bit bland. Jagatee (a type of herbal tea): Better than at K-1. What was unfortunately very difficult: service and friendliness.
