28/08/2024: Honestly, I'm not one to write reviews, but this place deserved it for how well they treated us. After a disastrous day in which we were stranded with the camper, we found this restaurant that, despite having the kitchen closed, opened it only for us. Who knows what face they would see us with. The service was unbeatable, they also spoke English, German, Spanish and of course Italian. The food was truly spectacular, my praise to the chef. All that remains is to say thank you.
28/08/2024: Excellent food. Quality local products. Young but professional and educated staff. A nice self-service for side dishes. The only flaw I would say is that if you arrive at 12 and 10 minutes there is no more sauerkraut. They leave immediately. And they arrive but you are already at the table.🙃 I recommend placing two vases.😂

Special praise to the kitchen for the great dishes.
16/05/2024: Because of what we knew, we knew that there would be salad and water at lunch. However, the young waitress didn't bring us a salad and did bring one to all the other guests (locals). You only got the salad when you asked. When billing, it was also noticed that she had charged extra for the water. We were able to clarify this with the nice other waitress and the cashier.
Still, it's a shame that as a tourist you are discriminated against by the young waitress and that's why we can't recommend it.

30/07/2024: The place is very large with seating inside and outside. On hot days it lacks some ventilation if you sit in the inside room. The menu offers wide possibilities: from traditional dishes to pizza, from exotic proposals to dishes for vegetarians. The premises are very clean and the staff very courteous. The dishes are very carefully prepared and the ingredients are certainly fresh, the portions certainly generous. Prices are in line with the area and in any case average.
Definitely recommended.
27/07/2024: Siamo tornati al Grissino dopo alcuni anni, impressione complessiva sempre positiva. La vicinanza all'Acquarena è un valore aggiunto. Buona scelta di piatti, pizze o cucina orientale, servizio corretto. Unico neo: almeno la sera della nostra cena non c'erano dolci/dessert disponibili nel menù perché, ci ha spiegato il cameriere, "manca il pasticcere", il che per un ristorante non è una piccola lacuna.

17/09/2023: Ottimo posto per fermarsi e mangiare un gelato in centro a Bressanone, La posizione strategica favorisce l’afflusso di gente, infatti spesso capita di dover aspettare e fare un po’ di fila, ma l’attesa è tutta ripagata da prodotti artigianali di qualità e senza glutine, super consigliati anche per chi come me ha una persona celiaca in famiglia. Rapporto qualità prezzo più che onesto soprattutto notando la freschezza del prodotto che ti viene servito. Non ho altro che complimenti.
24/08/2023: Gelato buonissimo realizzato con materie prime di alta qualità. Si nota una particolare attenzione ai dettagli, alla pulizia e all'esposizione.

05/07/2024: Cafe am Gries has a shaded terrace in a relatively quiet corner of the old town between the Duomo and the river. Bressanone is a rather grand and expensive place but this seemed quiet and modest and friendly. The lunch was a list doodled on the back of our waitress’s pad and everything was €14!
After an aperitif, the most delicious classic south Tyrolean dumplings and a fabulous coffee, we realised that we had lucked out. As the place filled up with mostly locals it was clear that it was not unknown. The service was charming and the ambience delightful. Highly recommended.

27/06/2024: Abbiamo pranzato un lunedì di giugno 2024. , Un gruppo di 51 persone. Siamo stati veramente bene. Pranzo ottimo. Personale veramente gentile, serviti in tempi conforme alle nostre richieste. Prezzo buono. Ringraziamo, se torniamo a Bressanone, sicuramente ci ritorniamo.
31/01/2024: Ein Abendessen mit der Familie hat uns außerordentlich gut gefallen. Wir hatten einen schön gedeckten Tisch in einer traditionell gemütlichen Gaststube. Die Auswahl an Speisen war reichhaltig und von bester Qualität. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient und bei den Getränken gut beraten. Das Restaurant ist in der Altstadt gelegen und bietet einen ruhigen, gemütlichen Ort für ein tolles Essen.

05/06/2024: Was für ein wunderbarer Abend!
Brixen brilliert mit guter Gastro. Was aber hier geboten wird, geht weit darüber hinaus. Beste Küche, kombiniert mit der perfekten Weinauswahl. Ein herzlichers Gastgeberpaar....wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!
12/05/2024: Bei tollen Weinen kann man die Gerichte aus der kleinen aber feinen Karte genießen. Sehr edles, ruhiges Ambiente. Für draußen war es leider noch zu kalt. Der Garten sieht wunderschön aus.
