26/02/2026: Best sandwiches ever. This place is a must visit to try the great food and wine. We had different sandwiches and crostinis and like them all. It’s a bonus to hear the birds singing while you’re having your food.

15/02/2026: I was hungry, it was raining outside, and we hesitantly entered the shop. I immediately felt welcomed by a fantastic atmosphere, which momentarily swept away our routine and frenzy. I give the sweet and knowledgeable owner 10 stars. When we left and the door closed behind us, I felt a pang of nostalgia. Thank you.

09/03/2026: I went for lunch with my friends during the holidays. What can I say? The place is fabulous. The courtesy and kindness, the love for their place and their work, can be felt from the moment you say good morning. Extraordinary and delicious dishes for those like me who have a particular palate. I'll be back to enjoy the kindness and the wonder of the place.

07/03/2026: Wonderful inn overlooking the square with the Bagno Vignoni thermal baths. The Le Margherite room was beautiful and clean. Abundant breakfast with exceptional homemade desserts. The Porcellum restaurant is one of the most delicious and characteristic restaurants I've ever tried. The food is top-quality, expertly cooked and presented. The wine is delicious. The staff is extremely kind and always available. A truly magical place that has become a favorite of mine.

21/03/2026: Have been here twice and always book a table when we visit from Los Angeles. All the food is FANTASTIC, especially the ones paired with Brunello. Coming back in June. See you soon!

20/03/2026: We had a really great meal! We ate there twice during our three-day stay. We had bruschetta as a starter and pasta afterwards. The dessert was fantastic each time. We paid €75 for a starter, two main courses, dessert, wine, etc. I can't think of anywhere else where we've had food that was significantly cheaper, especially not of this quality.

06/01/2026: We went to this restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the menu, which was truly spectacular! We were enchanted by the appetizers right from the start, but when they served us the ramen, we thought it couldn't get any better. Instead, the tortelli exceeded all expectations. The wine pairing was also very well received, especially the red "Le Cupole"! The service was impeccable. Usually at New Year's Eve dinners, the food and service are on the "lower end" despite the high prices, but in this case, the cost was absolutely worth it! I highly recommend it.

31/12/2025: Ristorante da Ciacco is truly an excellent restaurant. It seamlessly combines friendly service, lovely atmosphere and amazing food. One can choose to sit either in the comfortable inside area or outside. If you choose the latter, your experience will only be magnified. Sitting outside is surreal....you are virtually next to a 500 year-old church in a beautiful medieval village. Tuscan dishes are generally simple....characterized by locally sourced foods, the freshest ingredients and presented in a non-fussy way. Ciacco is different. The creativity and presentation of the food is truly amazing and the dishes are some of the best I have ever had....Tuscan or otherwise. I’d mention the Tonno (tuna) I had or the risotto, but chances are great that they may not be available the following day as the menu changes constantly, depending on what the cook may have found that day at the market. Ciacco is known in the area for having fish on their menu....something not typical in this area of Tuscany. I have had numerous fish dishes at Ciacco over the years and they have always been fantastic. I always seem to leave the restaurant in amazement as to how spectacular the meal was.....a meal easily on par with the best meals I’ve had at some of Europe best restaurants. In short: if the opportunity should ever present itself, do yourself a favor and stop by beautiful San Quirico d’Orcia and eat at Ristorante da Ciacco!

01/02/2026: We went for lunch at the end of August and were seated at a table in the sun. There were free tables in the shade, and we asked to move, but they told us we could only sit at that table. The waiter told his colleague that we should stay in the sun so we could eat quickly and leave sooner. It was obvious he didn't want to work and didn't want to serve any customers. We got up and left without ordering. We did him a favor.

26/10/2025: A romantic candlelit location with truly high-quality food. Super fair prices despite the quality of the food, location, and service. The Chianina steak tartare with truffle and the Florentine steak are exceptional! Go there with your eyes closed.

04/03/2026: A real underdog restaurant. The exterior isn't exactly what you'd expect from a local, but once you've been inside, you'll want to eat there again and again. Simply superb Italian food. A particular highlight is the fresh fish on Fridays.

13/12/2025: Bar-restaurant, as the name suggests. Clean place, good food. Fast service but excellent quality. Great prices. Friendly staff. I recommend it.

16/11/2025: We were welcomed by the owners, and even though they didn't serve food (during the winter months), we still drank excellent wine and had a few snacks. The book selection was also excellent, and we came home with a good book and a great desire to return in the summer!

21/10/2025: The best introduction to the beautiful town of San Quirico. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch, an aperitif, or a literary snack with excellent niche wines. Recommended.
