19/06/2025: Our family's wine tasting experience at Azienda Agricola Nenci was absolutely amazing and the highlight of our time in Tuscany/Chiusi. It truly exceeded all our expectations and was so personal and beautifully done. Paolo (and his parents) were exceptional hosts. It is amazing to see the passion and love for winemaking that Paolo has. The private setting that he created for our experience and the abundant wine and charcuterie board was absolutely 1st class and delicious. The overall experience ended up being 2 hours because Paolo made us all feel so welcomed and at home. What a relaxing and unforgettable time my family experienced. Did I mention the wine was amazing? (and so reasonably priced, we definitely brought some home to continue to enjoy)! I can't recommend this wine tasting experience enough. Please go visit Paolo at Nenci, you will thank me for it later - I promise!

19/06/2025: We had a lovely dinner here — four adults and two children. The menu offers a great variety of interesting local Tuscan dishes. It’s amazing to be able to taste recipes from the Middle Ages while living in the 21st century. As for the food quality, to be honest, I didn’t find anything truly unique or extraordinary. However, if you’re curious to explore medieval Tuscan cuisine, this is a great place to do it. I highly recommend the soup — the tartare was absolutely wonderful, and so was the crostino.

08/06/2025: If you are looking for the maximum taste and authenticity that this part of the Tuscany region can offer, you absolutely must not miss the "La solita zuppa" restaurant. The quality of the ingredients, the skill with which they are combined together, the elegance of the service and the intimate atmosphere, cared for in the smallest details, will leave you speechless. There is no other place in the area that offers the same quality/price ratio, nor that reinterprets the typical flavors of the place so well without altering the millenary tradition. In short, a stop that is absolutely obligatory if you pass by these parts. Enjoy your meal!

09/05/2025: The food is good, fresh and well cooked lake fish. The view of the lake and that beautiful lawn is satisfying and relaxing. Advised.

05/05/2025: A real shame. The dishes are simply fantastic, original, refined and very tasty. This is the classic case where the service ruins the restaurant. The cuisine deserves 5 stars, the service 0. As soon as we arrive the owner looks at us without letting us speak and tells us that everything is full. We point out to him that we had booked and, almost annoyed, he makes us sit at a table in front of the kitchen door. Patience, but 3 tables around us always remained empty so the place wasn't full. I didn't understand why but the owner seemed very friendly with the friendly patrons, while almost annoyed by our presence. Annoyed and distracted service, every time we had to call the waiter's attention several times. The place is located in a fantastic place even if it is quite sad inside. It's really a shame because the dishes are worth it, but the reception compromised the final judgement. If you treat all new customers like this I don't recommend it.

27/06/2025: Thursday, May 1, 2025, I went for the first time to lunch at the Osteria Etrusca in Chiusi. The Tuscan crostini with spleen meat were excellent and delicious. The sliced ​​beef with rocket and pecorino cheese was excellent and delicious. The dessert and sweet of the chocolate cake were excellent, excellent, delicious and perfect!! 26/06/2025: During a few days of vacation in the Chiusi area we came across this restaurant for dinner. Very friendly waiting staff, nice and welcoming place in the equally welcoming historic center of Chiusi. We immediately dive into the pici with garlic and tomato: a delight. Very tasty sauce, after cleaning the plate the temptation to go into the kitchen to clean the pot with bread was strong! 😁 At this point the tavern also became the reference for the two subsequent dinners to try other dishes on the menu: from cod to coccio passing through other pici and ending with pizzas. All delicious. We will return home tomorrow with a nice culinary memory of these days. Special mention also to the house wines, both white and red were perfect.

08/06/2025: I only have to report a glass of wine for €12. I understand the quality of the wine, but I find the price really excessive. Unfortunately this detail was really negative compared to what the restaurant offered.

26/05/2025: Osteria affiliated with the alliance of slow food chefs. Very welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service. Welcome aperitif with sparkling white wine and pappa al pomodoro to while away the time waiting for the dishes. Truly excellent knife-beaten Chianina tartare. Roast potatoes and excellent quality Florentine steak. The tiramisu to finish didn't completely convince me but I don't get along very well with desserts. More than positive opinion. Honest bill and in line with the quality of the food ordered.

11/05/2025: Creo que este lugar era el único restaurante abierto el domingo a las 11 am, tal vez antes. La web dice abierto a las 6 am. Los otros restaurantes de la ciudad dijeron que estaban abiertos en Google, pero no lo estaban. Orden de los bocadillos mostrados. Usualmente justo, barato, chica de mostrador hablaba bastante buen inglés y era amable y paciente. Comer dentro y fuera. Lo recomendaría.

14/06/2025: Recommended by the "fuori casello" app, the restaurant is, in fact, just outside the Chiusi toll booth, just a choice between appetizers, first courses and second courses of the Tuscan tradition. Prices are normal but certainly less than for a sandwich on the highway...

26/04/2025: חיפשנו מקום לעצור לפיצה והחלטנו לנסות את המקום הזה. התברר כהחלטה מעולה, כי כולנו הסכמנו שזה היה מהפיצות הכי טובות שניסינו! בנוסף, השירות והאירוח היה מושלם למרות שלא הזמנו מקום.

06/06/2025: Das Essen war grandios und auch sehr schön präsentiert- wir waren mittags da. Der Service war auch gut. Rundherum in unserer Woche in Umbrien eines des besten Restaurants.

08/06/2025: Nothing exceptional, I liked the appetizer, but the rest I found normal, I took Pici with duck 🦆 I didn't perceive the true local flavor nothing special, same thing the grill I would have liked a combination of local things, same thing I didn't perceive the flavor of refined things particular meat or sausages from the norcino, it's a shame because the waitress was nice. I didn't find the prices low but normal, the restaurant inside was nice, like a typical inn, outside less so, you don't notice much, there is a divider and a sign that has faded over time. I hope to return and find something more appetizing and local.

12/07/2025: A simple and welcoming atmosphere in the village of Chiusi. Generous and characteristic local dishes. All accompanied by a pleasant chat with the owner, Pino. The terrace with its shade provided by a grape arbor is very charming. Highly recommended, we'll gladly return. Thank you!
