I had the pleasure of having lunch at Fattoria Pulcino and it was a wonderful experience. A truly superb lunch: a relaxed atmosphere, immersed in nature, and authentic dishes that best express the local area. Everything was meticulously crafted, from the flavors to the hospitality. A place where you feel good and the food is even better: definitely worth returning to. 🍷

We had a wonderful lunch here as usual art of our Tuscany tour. Nice to experience the story of this family that has lasted so many hundreds of years making wines and cheese and sharing their homemade pastas and treats. We had a blast. The prices are on high side but that goes with the territory

An experience, we were on a group trip, we arrived at the place and received an explanation, the place is interesting, there is a family winery in the basement, an interesting tour and explanation, while we received a meal, pasta of course, and cheeses and cold cuts at the start, while tasting 5 types of wines. Very interesting,

We visited Fattoria Pulcino Ristorante as part of a trip organised from Rome with City Wonders. The visit started with a quick look at their cellar, which was a nice introduction before moving on to the tasting.
After that we were taken to the restaurant area and seated. One thing that felt a bit strange was that they placed everyone in very specific seats rather than letting people choose where to sit. I understand it’s for organisation, but since the area seemed reserved for the whole group it probably wouldn’t have mattered that much.
All the introductions and explanations during the visit were done by the sisters who run the business, which was actually really nice and made the experience feel more personal.
Then the wine tasting started and that was definitely the highlight. We tried five different wines and they were genuinely lovely. Alongside the wine they served some starters – bread with tomatoes, anchovies and olive oil, plus a selection of cheeses. The cheese was very good, especially the one with truffle. They also brought a few small condiments like truffle honey and a kind of jam, all very tasty.
For the main we had their homemade pasta with a bolognese-style sauce and cheese. It was really good, although the portion was quite small. At the end we were given a small sweet treat meant to be dipped in sweet wine, which was a nice finishing touch.
Overall it was a good experience, although it did feel a little rushed at times. Afterwards there was also a chance to visit their shop and buy wines, cheeses and other products from the farm, which was a nice option.
Overall a nice stop during the trip, probably a once-in-a-lifetime kind of experience when doing this organised tour.

We only ate homemade pasta, drank a glass of wine and ordered a salad. When we went to pay we were shocked by the price of the meal. This is a tourist trap. The prices are exorbitant. Extremely expensive. And the food is reasonable
