18/09/2025: The food is delicious. If you want to find typical local Italian cuisine on a plate then pop in here without thinking twice. Both the Staff and the Chefs are super. The atmosphere is classic as it is in Italy 😉. If the restaurant is full of local residents then this is the best recommendation to visit this place.

30/11/2025: A lunch where we spent €76 per person. There were 9 of us at the table. We ordered three bottles of wine, two for €22 and one for €29. In my opinion, the quality was so poor that the food cost €25. We ate the white truffle, which had a measly little dusting on top of the tagliolini and especially on the meat. The quality of the meat (the tagliata) is not this disgusting, even if you buy it in the worst country in the world. It was a disgrace.
I don't question the price because if you eat quality food, spending this amount with white truffles in the right quantities is acceptable, but not with such poor quality.
29/11/2025: Terrible service, the typical place that tends to overcharge, for what they charge they should treat their customers better, to collect their money they should make themselves available and for bitter he told me now I have to clear the table I can't, when he came back he asked me what bitter do you want? I told him I didn't want it anymore. And not only was the meat more nervous than the waiter.

12/10/2025: We had two set fish menus for €30 each: appetizer (?) - spaghetti allo scoglio (?) - fried fish (?) - unlimited water - 1 liter of white wine - 2 coffees ☕️ ☕️.
I'm sorry to say that in the past the food was much, much tastier. It's been a couple of years since we stopped at "Gallo Cedrone". Today we went back and, truth be told, we were very disappointed with the entire menu, not by the quantity, but by the lack of fishy flavor that should have characterized the dishes. The frying oil, in our opinion, was unsuitable for fish, especially when accompanied by a dozen French fries (sticks) for two people. The question mark (?) above means, or rather asks: "But how come this fish doesn't taste like fish at all?" Strange, but true.
I'm also sorry to add that the toilet flush didn't work or was very faulty...
Positive aspects: the courtesy was there, and there was no wait between courses...even too fast for a Sunday lunch.
€30 x 2 = €60
Will we go back? Unfortunately, not.

08/10/2025: Everything was perfect, except for breakfast, which I would rate as "just adequate". The location was magnificent and the reception staff were very friendly.

22/11/2024: Il pane arabo più buono che ci sia!!! Quando siamo a San Miniato ci fermiamo volentieri. Il menù è molto vario con tanta scelta. Personalmente adoro la pizza ed è buonissima!! Pane arabo eccezionale leggero e croccante lo farciscono come vuoi tu. Personale molto attento e cordiale, Cristina Simona e Scintilla sono davvero speciali … grazie per la calorosa accoglienza ogni volta che ci fermiamo da Rina a San Miniato Basso

18/03/2025: Bonita ubicación , personal muy agradable y servicial, limpieza perfecta .
Fui con un grupo de turistas y teníamos un menú fijo. Las porciones eran grandes , la calidad de la comida impecable , la cocina típica toscana está muy bien representada en su sencillez y sabor
Nota especial el Pappa al Pomodoro, el mejor que he tenido, cielo absoluto
Las verduras eran frescas y sabrosas
Las salsas muy bien equilibradas
Un lugar donde volvería con mucho placer
16/12/2024: Premetto che non ho fatto una recensione negativa, ma in questo caso non riesco proprio a trattenermi.
Domenica 15 dicembre 2024 avevamo prenotato un tavolo da 16 persone per due compleanni di anziani.
Bella sala, bella ambientazione, il problema è che insieme a noi e ad altri c'era un tavolo con piano bar e relativo dj.
Canzoni, karaoke e schiamazzi a volume altissimo hanno reso il nostro pranzo una mensa di muti in quanto non si poteva fare un discorso se non urlando.
Nei rari momenti di silenzio sentivo pure i tavoli a fianco lamentarsi, ma da buoni toscani subivano in silenzio.
Il limito l'ho raggiunto quando un mio commensale con l'apparecchio acustico se lo è dovuto togliere perchè gli scoppiava la testa, ovviamente poi si è isolato da tutti.
Alle mie proteste col caposala il risultato è stato un menefreghismo totale.
Allora ormai arrabbiato ho chiesto in malo modo di abbassare la musica ma il risultato è stato quasi una leticata.
Colpa mia, ma un pò di educazione sarebbe stat gradita.
Cari signori della Marrucola se c'è chi fa una festa va messo da solo e non insieme a chi vuol passare un piacevole pranzo in compagnia dei propri familiari.
Grazie per averci rivinato la giornata.
Per il resto il cibo buono, almeno mi hanno detto perchè a me si è chiuso lo stomaco e non ho mangiato quasi niente.

07/09/2024: La vista dal terrazzo è l'unica cosa gradevole del locale e può ingannare come ha fatto con me.
Cucine da incubo potrebbe essere un complimento. Una volta seduto e capito il locale ho optato per un tagliere salumi formaggi e cristini
Formaggi in Toscana ti aspetti almeno un pecorino. Serviti tre pezzettini di Brie. Affettati: mortadella di scarsa qualità, tacchino, salme piccante e prosciutto salatissimo. Crostini: fettine di pane secco su cui hanno spalmato salsine stantie. Servizi igienici da vomitare. Se passa un'ispezione chiudono.
