19/02/2026: A pleasant, accidental discovery along the road leading to Fornaci di Barga.
A classic Tuscan trattoria, but with a very welcoming and well-decorated dining room.
A complete fixed menu with a choice of four first courses, a second course, and two side dishes, including water, for €12.
Home-style cooking, well-made, with generous portions.
The house wine and tiramisu were good.
A pleasant atmosphere, lots of smiles and friendliness.
We didn't have time to try the à la carte menu, which is full of local dishes... I'll have the chance next time.
I didn't take photos because I was hungry.

31/10/2025: I’ve been here several times in the past couple of decades but first time since 2017 I could come back and again it was amazing. I’m gluten free and they made the most delicious truffle risotto fresh and perfect. It’s more about the atmosphere and better if you can eat all the gluten but still I’m glad to come back. Nice people and perfect Tuscan cuisine.
11/10/2025: The dishes are also excellent to look at, the service is excellent and the interior of the restaurant is intimate.

18/11/2025: Excellent 1st stop in Italy for dinner. So many good items (and wine and beer) on the menu. The pizza was fantastic and servers were great!
31/10/2025: Our time in Bagni di Lucca is slowly winding down… so tonight, instead of cooking, we treated ourselves to one of our favorite local spots — and wow, did they deliver! 😍
From the amuse bouche of Pappa al Pomodoro (the coziest Tuscan tomato-bread soup) to tagliolini with white truffle, a crispy Milanese cutlet with patate fritte, a chilled vino bianco frizzante, and finally… tiramisu + flambé crème brûlée 🔥 — every bite was pure perfection.

Great for a lunch break and a proper meal.
The food is good, and there's a wide selection of starters, main courses, side dishes, and even sandwiches.
The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
Quick service, no waiting for a table; they also do home delivery.
It was a great discovery.

30/06/2025: Een heel simpel zaakje wat moeilijk gelegen ,met heel goede bediening , en heel lekker eten , maar een woord voor super, komend ga ik zeker terug , spijtig dat het maar 3 dagen open ineen week

Ci ritorno sempre volentieri.
I miei preferiti sono i maccheroni al ragù, hanno proprio lo stesso gusto casalingo di quelli che cucinava la nonna...
Inoltre, anche il filetto e la carne in generale è eccellente.
E il vino rosso della casa è molto buono.

27/08/2023: vorrei poter dare più stelle ma l'antipasto di pesce va rivisto, spero che la proprietà accetti questo rilievo perchè da fare un piatto da 1 ad uno 4 probabilmente passa poco, buoni i primi e il personale gentile e disponibile, ritornerò a provare la pizza
16/08/2023: Ottimo cibo in generale, personale competente e cordiale. Il plus è la scelta di pietanze per celiaci , finalmente dopo anni ho trovato anche i tortelli toscani senza glutine. Buonissimi.

"Pasta fatta a mano, Prodotti Tipici, Carne alla Brace"
Ci mettiamo seduti e la cameriera ci dice che non c'è niente di tutto questo ma solo la pizza.
Vista l'ora e il fatto che mio figlio aveva fame ho accettato, ma non va bene.
