Fabrizio is an exceptional host and will guide you in choosing the best dish for your tastes. I would, however, suggest the risotto al salto as a first course and the baked potatoes as a side, both truly exceptional. There's not much to say about the meat, which is bordering on perfection. The price is commensurate with the quality, so it's higher than average, yet you'll leave the restaurant already wanting to return.
14/03/2026: Staff is great so is service. Food is amazing worth the visit and price. Also with a toddler for a Saturday lunch they were absolutely welcoming (not expected at all for the area!). So… bravi bravi bravi!

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner 2025: terrible service, terrible organization, terrible food, cold place despite the pellet stove, which they probably turned on at the last minute.
When I returned home, I had a strong heartburn and a fever. Never again. I don't recommend it, and the other three diners had the same opinion.

12/03/2026: For years my fav spot when im in Livorno. Easy parking, nice staf, good food. Very consistent good quality, locals also go there.
08/03/2026: If you're looking for a place to eat with the family, definitely come here. They have a very extensive menu, excellent pizzas and first courses, and the fish main courses are also quite good. Desserts are so-so. The prices are really reasonable, I think among the lowest these days. The staff is very friendly. The place could use a bit of a makeover, but it's still very clean and tidy. My compliments to the owners.

01/03/2026: The place is very nice, but unfortunately the food wasn't up to par, and above all, the hasty, almost arrogant service didn't allow us to have the carefree afternoon we were hoping for. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.
01/03/2026: The staff couldn't wait to send us away. A lunch with friends became stressful, with the waiters bringing us one course after another and rushing us to finish and leave.
The food was nothing special. It's a shame, the place is very beautiful. I don't recommend it.

08/06/2025: Struttura decisamente accogliente dal panorama mozzafiato,pranzo a menù fisso purtroppo deludente o forse non all' altezza delle nostre aspettative.
Portate di antipasti poco attrattivi al palato,tutti a base vegetariana tranne un unica fetta di prosciutto crudo.
Risotto dall' aspetto scialbo e sapore a mio avviso poco deciso,secondi piatti senza pretese,due fette di arista arrosto e due bocconi di faraona arrosto con relativi contorni,patate arrosto e insalatina.
Dessert dall' ottimo aspetto,tartelletta pasta frolla con crema e frutta fresca, quasi impossibile mangiare la pasta frolla che risultava durissima.
Il servizio e l' impiattamento comunque molto curati.

25/04/2025: Sono stata a pranzo con amici, hanno accolto noi e il nostro cane con gentilezza. Il cibo e il servizio sono stati eccellenti. Super apprezzate le opzioni vegane e senza glutine! Il luogo è molto bello, con una vista stupenda e un bel giardino dove trattenersi dopo pranzo al sole.

11/05/2025: Después de ser llevado aquí por un amigo local he vuelto muchas veces. Cada vez el filete es de la más alta calidad.
He viajado por todo el mundo, incluyendo Sudamérica y Japón, los centros de filetes del mundo, pero Darrios sigue siendo consistentemente el mejor.
Consigue cocinar los filetes para que tengan un exterior caramelizado crujiente pero que sigan siendo muy tiernos y jugosos.

I was there for work and later returned with my family. We will always come back! Wonderful food and a romantic atmosphere. The owners are very lovely; there aren't many people like them anymore, but you HAVE to go there and experience what you see in so many movies!
