It's a bit risky to find a seat right away, but it's a sign that the place is well-liked.
20/12/2025: I didn't give the ambiance its best rating only because it's a bit noisy for me, as I have some hearing problems. Unfortunately, there's only so much space...
For a small trattoria where you eat well and spend a fair amount, you can overlook a few minor inconveniences ;-)
The people who welcomed us were extremely kind, attentive, and helpful; and human warmth makes everything better.
The menu offers a good selection of traditional dishes; the fresh pasta dishes were very satisfying.
The tagliata was excellent; we asked for a customization for the pork loin (addition of dried tomatoes and caramelized onion), which was prepared without any problems and we loved it.
Some desserts were sold out, but even the remaining ones were good.
A very honest account; these days, it helps me come back more often... it's a shame I live in Montecatini, but I'm happy to come here whenever I get around.

06/01/2026: Found this restaurant by chance. Yesterday, January 5, 2026, we ate at Francesco's. We arrived at 2:30 pm, and despite the time, they welcomed us and served us with such kindness. Excellent food, reasonable price, worth trying. Thanks Francesco, we'll be back. Stefano, Benedetta, Manuela, and Nicolo'

08/06/2025: Il posto merita, ma non altrettanto il cibo e soprattutto il personale,ci siamo ritrovati a festeggiare un matrimonio. Tuttavia la festa è stata in parte rovinata proprio a causa di questo locale. I tavoli privi di ogni addobbo,porzioni misere e nn sufficienti per tutti se provavi a chiedere qualcosa in più il personale si rivolgeva in modo infastidito. Quando abbiamo chiesto di avere la carne un po più cotta,il titolare si è particolarmente infastidito, prima di andare via ci dice:" non posso sentire certe cose". Per finire ci arriva un dolce la cui base di pasta frolla era talmente dura che se l'avessimo lanciata al muro avremmo creato sicuramente dei danni. Detto ciò se nn cambiano modo e mentalità verso il cliente non credo che possano durare a lungo. Parere personale nn ci ritornerò più, lo sconsiglio vivamente.

01/07/2025: Vi kom sent til restauranten efter en lang køretur fra Danmark. Vi havde ikke booket bord og alt var optaget. De unge mennesker var så service mindede og fandt straks et ekstra bord som de dækkede op til os og vi fik den mest fantastiske mad.
26/04/2025: Sembra un bar ed infatti è anche un bar ma la cosa interessante è che in questo locale, proprio dove non te lo aspetti, puoi trovare una pizza eccezionale. Ottimo l’impasto, accompagnato da condimenti di grande qualità. Vi suggerisco di chiedere il condimento con pomodoro Sanmarzano, fa veramente la differenza.
Se non volete prendere una pizza potete comunque scegliere tra i vari piatti della tradizione toscana. Tutti ottimi e da accompagnare con i vini della cantina Frescobaldi, che insiste proprio sul territorio del Comune di Pelago.
Il servizio è di una gentilezza incantevole.
Insomma, merita una sosta.
Una piccola nota negativa sulla location che potrebbe essere un po’ più accogliente. Nella zona interna basterebbe anche solo giocare con una illuminazione meno aggressiva, mentre nella veranda esterna potrebbe risultare fastidiosa la TV accesa.

26/11/2023: Mi e' stata regalata una visita da Peter in Florence ma non sono mai riuscito ad utilizzare il ticket per la scarsissima disponibilita di orari e la totale mancanza di flessibilita da parte del personale. Un gran peccato. Sconsiglio assokutamente l'acquisto di esperienze simili
25/08/2023: Ho soggiornato in questa struttura 3 giorni con la mia famiglia , esperienza da dimenticare camere senza aria condizionata sembrava di dormire in un forno, ( tre notti avrò riposato 3 ore) frigo in camera assente come anche la TV , alle 23.00 rientriamo da una cena volevamo bere un cocktail ma alla reception come al bar non c'era nessuno ad aspettarci,l unica nota positiva era la colazione buona e con diversi prodotti però è poco per una struttura di quelle dimensioni. Purtroppo hanno tanto da fare per farla diventare una struttura di livello!!!!!
