14/05/2026: We chose this restaurant by luck after a long cycling trip, and this was the best place to end the trip. Really great pizza and pasta! 10/10 and the service was lovely ! We had Osteria del gusto pizza, sphagetti carbonara and piceri pasta!

01/02/2026: I dined here a few months ago. Da Giovannino is a simple restaurant in the center of San Giovanni. The food is good, both traditional Tuscan dishes and pizzas and baked goods.
Perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or family in a comfortable atmosphere.

The large back room is truly beautiful: bright, welcoming, and spacious, ideal if you want to stop and enjoy breakfast slowly, without rushing.
A place that combines quality and atmosphere, perfect for those who like to start off on the right foot and with something delicious in hand.

29/04/2026: I was truly disappointed with this café. The prices are simply exorbitant for what they offer: paying so much for a coffee or a simple breakfast is completely unjustified. To make matters worse, the selection is truly limited and unappealing. The counter often seems lacking in choice, with bland, mediocre options.
Considering the high price, one would expect at least a wide selection or fresh, carefully selected products, but here the value for money that should be the cornerstone of any café is completely lacking. There are much better options in the area, both in terms of quality and price. I wouldn't recommend it.

09/05/2026: A terrible experience in every way. It was dinner time, around 9 PM.
Outside, a foul-smelling liquid was leaking from a manhole, right in front of the store entrance. Not to mention the bar service, on the Autogrill café side, where a single employee was supposed to be working both the sandwich counter, which was sadly empty—and woefully empty—as well as the cash register and the coffee counter. That employee withstood criticism and impatient customers with dignity, all by himself, but his managers truly deserve nothing; they don't know what it's like to work, with all the money Sarni and Autogrill earn... They should be boycotted.
26/04/2026: Breakfast at a service station: the croissant wasn't great, and the latte macchiato was good. As for the service, I think, due to the confusion, they got the cappuccino wrong (asked for decaf and made with generic coffee) and the latte macchiato wrong (asked for barley and, again, made with generic coffee). We were in a group, and the wrong one for us was fine for others.
And for those who say "things cost more at service stations," I'm attaching the receipt because this "more" is quite exaggerated. Two pastries—each €2.40, I want to point out given the great quality!—a barley latte macchiato, a cappuccino: total €10.10.
I won't say anything about the bathroom; I'll leave it to your imagination...

05/02/2025: Locale carino, parcheggio grande. Ha una grande veranda dive è piacevole stare durante le belle giornate.
Bagno un po’ vecchiotto.
Carbonara (10€) molto buona e ciaccia anche.
29/12/2024: Abbiamo fatto colazione stamattina in questo bar, molto affollato ma il servizio velocissimo, abbiamo preso due paste diverse alla mela , una con crema ed una senza e due caffè, prezzo 5 euro, parcheggio comodo , consigliato per la colazione

16/06/2025: Locale bello e caratteristico, da vecchio cliente anche se nell'ultimo periodo non sono stato assiduo frequentatore.
14/06/2025: Bella location per cene tra amici. Abbiamo cenato a bordo piscina che fa sempre un bel effetto. Prodotti di qualità. Camerieri disponibili e alla mano. Consiglio.
