02/12/2024: Impeccabile il servizio e ottime tutte le portate. La vellutata di zucca come antipasto era così vellutata che dispiaceva finirla. I Pici al ragù spettacolari per non parlare delle pappardelle alla farina di castagne. Fatte in casa e sottili, rarissimo trovarle così delicate. Il ragù ottimo. E che dire della bistecca? La carne si scioglieva in bocca e la cottura al punto giusto. Buon appetito!

24/11/2024: Ci hanno collocato in un tavolo in cui c’era un freddo terribile e siamo stati costretti a cenare con i piumini ! Quando abbiamo chiesto se fosse possibile fare qualcosa il titolare ha dato la colpa al fatto che lasciavano la porta di ingresso aperta (mettere una molla ???) Un locale decente non dovrebbe prenotare un tavolo in quella collocazione.

01/09/2024: Trusted pizzeria. Managed by young and enterprising staff. Cozy and clean place. Last but not least, the pizza is excellent! I recommend trying the Cx dough.

25/08/2024: We loved our stay at Residence Ferriera! We booked through Airbnb, where a company takes care of the bookings - however, we were a little disappointed by the lack of a charger for electric cars, which was written in the ad, but we found a solution. We were welcomed by the friendly owner who showed us around when we arrived late in the evening. The house is down a long path, which makes it very private, and in the middle of the grounds there is a waterfall where you can swim, which runs through the grounds with a bridge over it. Down the path there is a market day on Mondays with fruit/vegetables/clothes, as well as small local shops, bars and a pizza restaurant. We stayed in an apartment with 2 rooms, a family room and a bathroom, which was all lovely spacious and semi-private. In the rooms, there was a fan in the ceiling, which was fine on the hot days, but it got a little warm in the kitchen in the evening, so windows/doors had to be opened, and here I recommend mosquito spray/mosquito candles. It's a charming house on the older side, but I think that's definitely part of the charm. Up the stairs there is a large pool with a view beyond Loro Ciefuenna, and there are plenty of sunbeds - but you have to be careful of the many horseflies that come during the day. Can definitely recommend Residence La Ferriera👏🏼

20/04/2024: Because the approximately 600 meter long driveway to the holiday apartment was an unreasonable burden for the vehicle due to the extremely deep potholes. We didn't find the staff very friendly, apart from the receptionist. The rooms are very dark due to the shady location and the small windows. It was extremely unpleasant when we first entered the apartment and also on the following days a musty smell that could not be eliminated even by intensive ventilation. The exemplary historic preservation renovation of all buildings, including the core renovation of the interior of the building, is to be assessed as positive. The location of the entire ensemble with the waterfall and the river is almost unique.
