31/07/2025: In one of the narrow streets near Alcamo Castle, you'll find Foresteria San Giacomo.
The staff welcomed us impeccably, even though we arrived late for our reservation.
Giacomo, the waiter who served us in the dining room, is very good at explaining the dishes on and off the menu.
My partner and I wondered why the place was called that, and he was brilliant at reconstructing the history of the place (no spoilers, just ask them).
Delicious dishes, flavors of authentic Sicily, far from touristy influences.
Special mention goes to the tuna "vraciuluni" (I hope I spelled that correctly), the tagliatelle with octopus ragù, and the ravioli alla norma.
I'm not attaching photos because we practically devoured them.

26/04/2025: Currently in my opinion the best pizza in Alcamo. Varied menu, always tasty pizzas, refined ingredients, prompt and courteous service. Nothing to object to except perhaps the excessive noise in the place, which however is the fault of the customers themselves. The prices are slightly above average but considering the quality of the pizzas I would say it is an acceptable condition.
Update: always very high quality, fast and friendly service. It never disappoints.

26/07/2025: Siamo ritornati in questo locale dopo alcuni anni e posso affermare che Diegolina è una conferma. Si mangia veramente bene e le porzioni sono abbondanti. Consiglio sicuramente i secondi di carne cotti alla brace. Personale molto gentile e disponibile.

19/07/2025: We were the only ones at the restaurant. There was a young woman who attended us and was very unfriendly. Couldn’t speak in english like most people here in italy but didn’t even make an effort to comprehend us or communicate with us.
The food was ok.

16/07/2025: The pizza was inedible. The belen was made without sausage (the main ingredient) and the ham was often diced in the Roman style. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

16/08/2025: Even though the place wasn't busy, we waited over an hour for our pizzas. Furthermore, when they arrived, they were already cold. I recommend improving the service. It's unfortunate that we paid 25% more for a service on the floor, only to have it be so poor.
15/08/2025: Embarrassing management of the place. They're lucky that there are no other alternatives in Alcamo Marina, so the workload must necessarily be concentrated on them, but here, total disorganization reigns.
To make money, they take 300 pizza orders in 2 hours and fail to meet customer needs and schedules.
Pizzas ordered for 7:45 PM were delivered at 9:00 PM! Furthermore, a gluten-free pizza was missing because the owner, instead of adding it to our order—which was difficult to find among 300 others (guess what!)—marked it as a new order. When it came time to pick up the pizzas, it was missing, leaving one of us without food. They didn't even make it easy for us by making it right away, but instead made us wait an hour for it!!!
Poor customer service, embarrassing service. It would all have to be done again.
