22/09/2025: We had booked a banquet for an 18th birthday party, and despite constant recommendations, both before and during the service, everything was truly mediocre and unsatisfactory. The pizzas arrived at each table at 11:00 PM, and my guests were completely dissatisfied with the service and especially the food. The pizza chef had been advised to offer a variety of dishes, but we only saw very limited pizzas, and knowing it was a pizza tour, he didn't even think to cut them. Personally, I would never recommend anyone to set foot in that "restaurant."

22/09/2025: The appetizers and pizza were good. It's a shame the service wasn't up to par with the banquet I was invited to. The pizzas arrived uncut, and the wait was very long.

19/11/2025: The macaroni was very good, and the chicken breast was good too. For dessert, a small cannelloni. Very small portions and very slow service. We were in a group, and they seemed overwhelmed because of the delays in serving.

30/09/2025: They are called a pizzeria while not having pizza on the lunch menu, very dissatisfied + the food is more than expensive :-(

05/03/2026: The location is good, but that’s unfortunately the only positive thing. We paid €16 for two cappuccinos and two very small desserts, which is extremely overpriced. We have visited many cafés across Sicily and this was by far the most expensive coffee and dessert we had, usually we paid about a third of this price for something similar or even better. The quality did not justify the price at all. Overall, very poor value for money.

09/01/2026: We only went here because the famous Fiasconaro next doors was closed and ended up paying 10 € for two coffees, two small crostatine and a bottle of water. Very disappointing considering that Castelbuono besides that only gave us incredible experiences. The extra star only because the man serving us was kind.

12/04/2026: Disrespect and disgusting food. Rude staff, especially the girl at the tables. Naturally, no receipt. Never again. I'll vomit.

04/04/2026: We visited this restaurant knowing it was in a tourist-heavy area, but it was busy and lively, which made us decide to give it a try. The atmosphere was energetic and the food itself was genuinely good — we enjoyed what we ordered. I can see why there are quite a few negative reviews. Our experience suggests that many of them may stem from human error and, in particular, the behavior of certain staff members. As we were leaving after paying, we were abruptly stopped by a female staff member who assumed we hadn’t paid. She called out “excuse me” in a rather aggressive manner, which was uncomfortable and unnecessary given that the situation could have been handled more calmly. We also noticed that the same staff member raised her voice at another table next to us over a mistake in their order, leading to a tense exchange. Based on this, it seems likely that this individual’s temperament is contributing to many of the negative reviews. Overall, the food and atmosphere were positive, but the service experience — at least in this instance — detracted from what could have been a much better visit.

24/10/2025: Excellent experience, definitely worth trying again Especially the pizza: perfect dough, excellent cooking, and fresh ingredients.

04/10/2025: (2) Where should I begin? 1. The accommodation consists of several bungalows within a complex designed for events. For example, weddings. The description doesn't mention this. There's a bar or something like that on the complex grounds. This bar plays music and hosts karaoke. And here's the situation: it's Thursday, midnight. The music is blaring. The bar patrons are screaming. And the guests have to listen to it. Until two in the morning. The complex management didn't respond to our attempts to contact them afterward! This was so infuriating that we decided to leave that very night. Even though we booked four nights, we only stayed two. No one responded to our messages. Not even Booking. We left. 2. The house smells damp. You can feel the dampness. There's no sign of a foundation, no ventilation either. Our clothes reeked, our suitcase reeked. The sheets felt damp, not fully dried. Disgusting 3. There were two plugs for three people! The WiFi in the house doesn't work, only somewhere near the restaurant (which isn't open) and somewhere near the entrance. So, you have to run around the premises looking for a signal. There was no liquid soap either, and the dispenser was empty. We wrote to the owner about this. He promised to fix it the next day. Nothing happened. 4. There's no trash can. Nowhere. None. Not in the kitchen, not in the bathroom, not on the terrace. We noticed this while a staff member was walking around. We asked about the trash can. He said there wasn't one and gave us a 120-liter bag. The kind for outdoor trash cans. So, where should we put it or hang it? It's also unclear. It was just lying on the floor. 5. The drain in the shower is so bad that the shower instantly filled with water, and everything was leaking into the bathroom. I barely had time to rinse the shampoo out of my hair before the water was already running into the kitchen. There are no shelves in the shower either. You have to put all your toiletries either on the floor or on the toilet lid. 6. The grounds are completely open. The gates don't lock at night. There are no staff members either. You're alone. And somewhere along the fence, people are walking. It's creepy and terrifying.

07/09/2025: Unfortunately, we can't give 0 stars, otherwise we would have given it a star!!! Very dirty place that's clearly not worth the price! Unsanitary cottages full of damp! Smells that made you vomit! The pool was in a pitiful state! And no goodwill gesture was made even though we rented three cottages and all three had a problem! The toilet is always clogged, the bathroom too. You flush the toilet and the pee comes back up through the bathroom. There's really nothing wrong with it! Mold on the walls. As an asthmatic, I had major problems, but once again, the owner didn't care! If you want to have a great vacation, this is clearly not the place to go!! Avoid!!!
