12/11/2025: "Where's the Calamari?" My friend asked me when we ordered the Calamari pasta. This is the best way I can sum up our visit to Ingrid. For €18 it was terrible value and student quality food with barely any Calamari. The waiter told us there was no menu, which I found quite strange, felt like a way to invent a price on the spot and see if people will pay it. Left with with bad vibes from this place. Should have trusted my initial instinct, don't really get the good reviews.

13/09/2025: Very good, but I asked for a sandwich with sun-dried tomatoes and lettuce, and it came with lamb's lettuce and a regular cherry tomato. Excellent service, very nice atmosphere.

18/08/2025: Sandwich ok without breaking 3 legs of a duck either, quality ingredients, but extremely slow server because he works for another restaurant instead of serving his customers. Unable to serve drinks at the same time either

23/09/2025: There's not much to say... I ordered pasta with sea urchins twice! My partner had never had it before and loved it. We arrived late (10 PM on Monday) because we were on a hike, so we called beforehand to make sure we could have dinner. Despite the hour, they welcomed us warmly and had us eating right away. I read in the reviews that the portions aren't generous: to be clear, compared to other more touristy places, that's true, but those are excessive and I can't finish them... so I think it's a question of expectations. But it's not a flaw! Precisely because the dishes are loaded with sauce (the pasta with sea urchins had so much fish - and it was real sea urchins!! Everything... which they often mix up) the prices? They're not high... it depends on the dish you order: it's perfectly normal for some ingredients to cost more. The staff was friendly and kind the whole time. I'm sorry I didn't take photos because I was too hungry 😆

18/11/2025: Unfortunately, I live far from this shop, where I would be a loyal customer. They have everything I consider a treat and that gives me peace of mind. Luckily, online orders exist. I was really pleased with the service, very fast, and the package was well-packaged. Thank you.

29/10/2025: Amazing coffee and delicious pastries with a view of the sea and Stromboli. Loud, but relaxed and laid-back.

12/10/2025: I haven't tried all the bars in Lipari, but this is DEFINITELY the best for spectacular breakfasts and aperitivos!!! The prices are truly Sicilian, not the exorbitant tourist fare you'll find on most islands. We've tried the pastries, the granitas with cream, and the croissants; everything has always been delicious and served in the best possible way. Not to mention the aperitivos!! The price is incredibly low for everything they serve! If you go to the island, you MUST stop here at least once; besides, there's a bus stop right in front.

13/12/2025: Pizzeria restaurant on the main street in Lipari, a genuine, down-to-earth place, but with fresh ingredients prepared to perfection! The staff was truly superb, extremely kind and knowledgeable!! A truly pleasant experience! Recommended!!

20/09/2025: Like everything on the island, it's rather expensive. The salad was very good. The pistachio cookies were a bit dry. Friendly service. Good outdoor seating. Large selection of dishes and breads.

18/09/2025: Chosen by chance for lunch, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes and their freshness. Friendly welcome, tables on the terrace, impeccable sanitary facilities and excellent value for money. We returned the next day and the pleasure was the same. We recommend this restaurant with a small menu but quality products.

25/09/2025: Delicious and affordable. The environment is great, facing the ocean. The waiters, though they don't speak English, are very welcoming. Highly recommended. Chinese people don't cheat Chinese people.

08/09/2025: Beautiful place right on the beach. Service a little slow, but probably because it's the end of the season. Pizza was so-so, a little undercooked.

26/10/2025: Definitely do not recommend. Rather place that should have rating 2-3/5. We came based on the good rating and the availability during siesta. We didn't get the menu, lady offered two types of pasta, which was reheated (Most probably in the microwave). Eventually, we could accept this fact, but we paid 40 euros! Definitely they saw we are tourists and increased the price (As there was no menu). If you have to eat, better to go to the Panini bar - that's complete opposite of this place.

17/07/2025: Siamo a Panarea, la più glamour delle sette, nonché la perla. La nostra scelta è ricaduta in questo storico e iconico ristorante dell’isola, dove si respira aria di mondanità e sapori autentici. Servizio lodevole e prezzi rapportati…come un po’ da tutti, ma qui sei appagato !

17/07/2025: Il ristorante conferma l’alta qualità che lo contraddistingue da anni. Menù ben assortito per tutte le portate, molto curate e con sapori mediterranei ben definiti. Servizio inappuntabile, senza attese snervanti. Il personale di sala (tutti giovani!) gentilissimo, pronto ed efficiente. Prezzi in linea con la qualità e la localizzazione.

07/10/2025: Well...my friends reading this, my expectations were high, in the sense that when they tell you about a gourmet restaurant, you don't just expect a beautiful plating but something more. Punta Lena is a charming restaurant, nothing extraordinary, right on the sea. Perhaps the downside was that when we went for dinner, it was already dark, and we couldn't tell we were right next to the sea. In any case, the dishes were well-cooked, but like pretty much everywhere else in Stromboli. It didn't stand out compared to the rest in terms of food quality. One flaw I absolutely didn't expect was the peppered mussels, which were so salty it tasted like seawater. And we Sicilians know how to cook mussels...when we pointed this out, we were simply told: oh...strange... Anyway, my calamari was good, but it was frozen. Maybe it's because I'm used to eating fresh fish; I can tell right away. The flavor was very good, anyway. That said, I can't give more stars because, guys, it's truly impossible to mess up a Pepata... The prices are truly outrageous for the type of food.

11/10/2025: Maurizio was very kind and welcoming. The caponata was the best I've tasted in the Aeolian Islands, and the stuffed squid with sauce was wonderful! Thank you.

05/10/2025: For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)
