13/07/2025: I've been there more than once, and the food is truly excellent. The dishes are plentiful, and we even had seconds. Last Sunday, we were a group of six. It was very hot, and the outdoor dining area, set up with air conditioning and fans, was comfortable. In addition to tables like ours, there was also a banquet. Suddenly, the Maître d' thought it best to unplug a fan near our tables without saying anything and instead increase the ventilation at the banquet. Dear Maître d', I remind you that there are no first-class customers and second-class customers. Luckily, the waiter who complained about this situation took the fan back against the Maître d''s wishes. Unfortunately, not everyone is professional when they work and they ruin the image of a superlative establishment.

The pistachio and almond granita accompanied by the legendary brioche (served hot) is exceptional.
If you visit Castelmola, you can't miss Bar Turrisi.
Highly recommended!
12/07/2025: Turrisi Bar is a must-visit for both Castelmola and Taormina. Anyone visiting these parts, even for just a day, can't miss it. It's unique inside and has a breathtaking view outside. The service is excellent, and while they're not the best granitas and brioches in the area, it's still worth a visit and a drink with a view.

28/06/2025: "I have been to the Cittadella pizzeria in Parma and the experience was truly exceptional. The 'Tropea di Parma' pizza was exquisite, with fresh ingredients and a light dough. The outdoor area is beautiful, perfect for a relaxing evening. And the service was impeccable, the waiters are very kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy an excellent pizza in a pleasant atmosphere. "A special thanks goes to the waiter Jo, who was particularly kind and professional."
28/06/2025: This evening I had the pleasure of dining in this very nice place, with wonderful decor... this evening I tried the Tropea dei boschi pizza, delicious, I recommend it... we were served by Jo, the waiter of this place, very friendly and kind, I recommend it!

02/07/2025: I do not recommend. We went there and they told us they will place us in the 3rd row without any explanation. We told them if we can at lest stay in the second row to see the child at the water and uninterested said no. Not friendly staff. We went at the next place and there was no problem to stay closer to the sea. It seems like there is a business interest there. If you are not in it go in other place.

14/06/2025: A place in the city center with excellent food.
I went there for lunch more than once, and the meats served were truly exceptional, succulent and tasty.
The atmosphere is refined, and excellent for a business lunch or for those who want to try a good meat dish or a good pasta (I recommend the carbonara).
I should highlight the extreme courtesy of the waiter, who, seeing that the glass of wine served was not really a glass, winked at me and said "if I may, I'll pour you another, on me".
I recommend booking, especially at lunch.

03/07/2025: We were in Taormina for a week and visited different places. We probably had dinner and lunch here 6 times, because it can't be compared with other places. Everything was great, very tasty, high quality and the prices were very pleasant, the service was top notch! We were always complimented when we came back. We also chose this place to celebrate a birthday and didn't regret it! I highly recommend it, this place has become our favorite place in Taormina!
02/07/2025: A wonderful little pub on the sidelines, during the day only regulars, so I didn't have to wait for a table. The service was impolite, and the food was delicious. The best pizza I've ever eaten (fantasia), you can taste the fresh ingredients from the top shelf.

12/07/2025: Honestly - best meal we’ve had on our trip in southern Sicily. We had salade caprese, grilled veggies, the ravioli (! Highly recommend!) and a tiramisu 👌🏼
Julia & Toto were great hosts, the service was amazing.

11/07/2025: This is a lovely family run restaurant, a little bit off the beaten track and with beautiful gardens across the road.
The food we had was lovely, bresaola, rocket and Parmesan to start, then tempura prawns and pasta with prawns and pistachio pesto. Accompanied by local wine. It was very tasty and good value. We enjoyed our meal very much.

08/06/2025: I am returning to Messina for the first time after changing my diet, dinner booked at the last minute to share a moment with friends I rarely see. Already on the phone you could feel the courtesy, we were informed that it was possible to change several items on the menu to make them vegan, they also told us that by booking in advance they can also offer more things, including a mixed appetizer that I will definitely try next time. Fast service, dishes rich in flavor, I felt at home. Even the people who were with me at the table and who instead ordered seafood first and second courses, found the dishes delicious and perceived the quality and freshness of the raw materials, among other things local. I think it will become a fixed stop every time I return on vacation to Messina. Congratulations indeed and thank you 🙏🏻
