21/08/2025: 5 stars because it's right. The spicy salami was really spicy for the first time. All the rest of the ingredients were good, but! You restaurateurs need to stop nibbling 2 euros there for 1 euro there, it's annoying. So for anyone reading this review, check your receipt and be careful if you ask to SWAP ingredients.

20/08/2025: A charming location surrounded by nature, meticulously cared for down to the smallest details. The owners are very kind, welcoming, and professional. It's a family-run business that immediately makes you feel at home. The icing on the cake is Mrs. Virginia's excellent cuisine, featuring typical local, zero-mile products. We organized my son's baptism and were extremely satisfied with everything. A few friends stayed there, and the rooms are also super clean, welcoming, and equipped with every comfort. We will definitely return to spend a few Sundays with the family, immersed in nature and the animals.

08/07/2025: Delicious: The restaurant beautifully combines local ingredients, excellent service, and a wow factor, creating a truly wonderful experience. I went with my girlfriend for her birthday, and both the sommelier and the two waitresses were very friendly and attentive. When I mentioned the need to change a dish due to an ingredient, they offered a similar solution, which I thought was an excellent detail.

10/06/2025: An experience not to be missed among the starred restaurants in Sicily. Chefs Colonnetta and Patti, masters of hospitality, manage to make you live a unique experience in the gastronomic panorama. Another peculiarity, compared to other starred restaurants, is the not too formal spirit that distinguishes them. Nino, the maitre-sommelier, enhances each course with his explanations and wine pairing. The waiters are kind and professional. The dishes are studied in every detail with various references to Sicilian traditions, often taking you back to childhood memories. Finally, the desserts, in particular, our pear and chocolate was a revelation both to the sight and to the palate. An experience and a journey that enrich you.

18/06/2025: A particularly pleasant experience. We had a truly excellent meal, the host was particularly kind and accommodating, and afterward, he opened the church across the street for us and gave us a look at the unique floor tiles.

It also features a spa currently under construction. The owners are wonderful, incredibly kind, and attentive to every detail to ensure every ceremony is flawless.

17/06/2025: ROSA AND LORY ON A HOT SUNDAY MORNING. THIS IS HOW MY EXPERIENCE BEGINS. As soon as you enter the pastry shop, it is difficult to realize who is behind the high counter topped with all sorts of delights and goodies, created by the hands of the industrious tirolari. I stop to observe pastries covered in pistachio icing and filled with cream, then, I see the typical "giammilline" of the place... I relax, I look at the pastries one by one, the delicious and refined ricotta cannoletti and I ask the price per kg of what I need and what I would like to take away, so, I give myself more time to also take a look at the flavors of artisanal ice creams on display... The small and polite sales point is not yet packed like a few months ago, it is still early, but it does not take long to see it fill up, so, I decide to be served by one of the kind and smiling employees, Rosa, and then, I also exchange a few words with Lory, ... I take "giammilline", sfogliatelle and good ice creams, at honest prices, also, as a surprise, I find the ice creams as a gift! I rejoiced for the happiness of having found staff available to dialogue, clean, kind, smiling and not mummies as often found around. I will return and convey the positive information about the store.

18/08/2025: We visited La Piazzetta Restaurant and had a truly pleasant experience. We started with carefully prepared and delicious appetizers, followed by a well-stocked platter of cured meats and cheeses. We then chose two first courses and a second course: balanced dishes, prepared with quality ingredients and presented quite well. The staff was friendly and helpful from start to finish, helping make the meal even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for both a quiet lunch/dinner and a convivial gathering. In short, a restaurant that combines good food, a family atmosphere, and excellent service: definitely a place we'll gladly return to.

16/08/2025: Delicious, delicious, delicious! I highly recommend it. The restaurant is in full swing. The only catch: the blaring televisions that dampen the atmosphere. But that's a minor detail – the food is delicious, the service and the owner are kind.

13/08/2025: Spectacular granita, €2 each. One of the best mulberry granitas I've ever had in all of Sicily! If you order it to go, you can enjoy it while strolling through the beautiful park across the street.

16/08/2025: Avoid at all cost ! Food was terrible (fried items in starter were cold, sausage too salty, overcooked beef, etc.) Terrible by any standards but an absolute shame by / for Italian standards. Even the house wine (the only option by the glass) was terrible - a first in Italy. Some of the waiters were smiley but the guy who served us the food wasn’t, so even service sucked… Honestly a well deserved 1 star out of 5 (since 0 is not possible)

15/08/2025: Our experience was unfortunately negative in several respects. Some dishes arrived more than 20 minutes later than those of the other diners, creating obvious discomfort. One waiter, who seemed completely unprepared, gave unprofessional responses, such as, "Raw fish takes time and you can't mess around," when I asked about the arrival of my dish. Shortly thereafter, while quickly returning to the kitchen, he accidentally dropped a dirty placemat on me. Some dishes were lacking seasoning, and the overall organization of the kitchen seemed lacking. It must be acknowledged that, once we explained the issues, the owner was initially understanding and professional, instructing the waiter to remove the delayed fish tasting from our bill. However, when we paid, we discovered that the dish had been included anyway. This episode leaves us feeling disappointed and, unfortunately, will lead us not to return or recommend the restaurant to our friends.
