The food was fresh, homemade, and full of Sicilian flavor. No unnecessary frills—just good, traditional food prepared with love. Maria and her husband are incredibly friendly and make you feel more like an invited guest than a customer.
If you're looking for a place away from the tourist rush, where you can eat well and experience the true spirit of Sicily, this place is definitely worth a visit. We will definitely remember this visit fondly and will gladly return. 🇮🇹❤️

21/02/2026: We tried these fabulous burgers at the food truck they set up at the "Milena Street Food" event. What can I say? Exceptional sandwiches. Super soft buns, light and delicious sauces, top-quality meat. I was truly amazed and can honestly say that this is one of the best places in Sicily to eat a quality burger. Kudos also to the friendly and helpful staff. Keep up the good work, guys!

I didn't give it five stars only because we've been twice recently with reservations, and both times we waited 45 minutes for our pizza. Aside from this one aspect that could be improved, you guys are unbeatable.

For those who love the delicacies of San Cataldo, here you'll find arancini (rice and ragù, top marks!) and truly excellent rosticceria. Breakfast is a highlight for a hearty breakfast; their croissants filled in every way are unbeatable! Rich in fillings, with an incredible variety. Special praise goes to the staff: a young, kind, and very friendly team who always make you feel welcome. A place that invites you to return!

03/08/2026: I returned to Al Teatrino after a while, and at the end of the meal I wondered why I hadn't been back more often. Oh well, it's a beautiful, rustic, and welcoming place with outdoor seating in the surrounding streets. The must-try at my table is the MUSSEL SOUP. It's inimitable, delicious, plentiful, with a barely perceptible hint of chili pepper. I eat it everywhere, but nowhere like this. The pizzas are delicious, made in Nisseno, topped with flavor and quality, with attention to detail and perfectly leavened, with a wide assortment of flavors. Plus, the price is right—you can have lunch or dinner at a fair price. For anyone craving pizza, pasta, or a main course, this is a surefire place. Highly recommended.

08/07/2026: Nice place, limited parking, the service is very slow, there were 6 of us and we ordered both meat and pizza, the meat is good and I recommend it, but the pizza on the other hand is not recommended, the dough seemed to me like the one from the frozen pizzas from the supermarket and then with added ingredients.

We chose Alessandro Papa's catering for our wedding and couldn't have made a better choice. Everything was impeccable: excellent quality food, carefully prepared, plentiful, and enjoyed by all our guests. The service was professional, attentive, and always available, helping make our day even more special.
We received so many compliments from our guests, both on the buffet and the lunch. Thank you to Alessandro and his entire staff for making our wedding unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend them!
