15/02/2026: The quality of the products is definitely the restaurant's strong point: everything is excellent and mostly homemade, including the bread. The space is very simple, with just a few outdoor tables under a portico, which, unfortunately, doesn't make for a particularly conducive atmosphere for conversation, but nothing special. The staff is friendly and approachable, and the prices are fair, especially for the season. Highly recommended, and probably the only one of its kind in Caltanissetta.

04/01/2026: Iconic. Since meeting Stefano (the owner) and seeing South's Flow grow, for me there's no other burger in all of Caltanissetta. Quality, kindness, iconicity. The bun is their strong point, expertly crafted, and the meat (whether patty or pulled) is also top-notch. My only complaint, if I may: use less coleslaw in the pulled, for my personal taste. Otherwise, always top-notch.

18/09/2025: We came here for the first time expecting a simple fast food joint. We were wrong: the quality of the food was that of a top-notch restaurant! We ate very well, plentiful, and, I repeat, quality! The only problem: the prices weren't clearly indicated, nor were they detailed (if there was a menu, or if you paid individually, how much, how, etc.). But other than that, the prices were absolutely in line with the quality—in fact, we'll be back!

28/01/2026: I searched for a good olive oil for a long time. Many are either too bitter or taste of nothing. This one is just right. I use it every day.

21/12/2025: An exceptional experience, the food quality is truly excellent, both for the savory options, such as business lunches, toasted sandwiches, and the sweet options, with delicious, filling pastries and brioches. Highly recommended for both a hearty breakfast and an aperitif with friends, where they serve platters of fresh cured meats and focaccia baked that same day. Furthermore, the staff is welcoming and fast, always ready to please. Try it!

31/01/2026: I'd bought it a while ago and wasn't thrilled with it. So I wanted to try it again. And here it is, the San Cataldese arancina (Palermo version). A rice ball weighing almost 300 grams, well-made, but soaked in oil and with only a hint of filling. The grains were loose and clearly visible, the flavor of the dough tasted of butter and saffron, but the filling, consisting of a little gooey sauce with a few peas, cream cheese, and a hint of minced meat, was an insult to the traditional recipe. And what about the wrapping paper without any separator sheet to prevent direct contact with the arancini? Small details, certainly, but they speak volumes about an archaic system that, unfortunately, is common practice in the restaurants of San Cataldo. Finally, the price of €2.50, which, given the quality of the product offered, is decidedly expensive.

04/01/2026: Until a little over last year, the pizza was good, but since then, it's gotten worse day by day. The dough is dry and overcooked, and it's also so thin it looks like a baby's pizza. The sauce is undercooked...perhaps because of the belief that it will cook in just a few minutes in the oven. The mozzarella is almost nonexistent (which turns transparent yellow the next day)...not to mention the poor quality of all the other toppings. I'm sorry, but I really think you'll lose all your customers this way.

15/02/2026: We went to Pizzeria Vecchio Mulino on Valentine's Day 💘, so it was quite busy, but despite that, they seated us right away, without a long wait. The waiters were kind and helpful, and the service was truly excellent, which isn't a given on such a busy evening. We started with a delicious appetizer, albeit a bit limited in quantity: 2 buffalo mozzarellas with Parma ham, which was truly delicious, clearly of high quality. The pizzas (2 buffalo mozzarella margheritas) were very good, probably the best we've had in Caltanissetta so far. That said, they're still a bit unremarkable—good, yes, but without that extra something that makes you go crazy with joy… you know what I mean 😉 One sore point about the dessert: good, but very lacking. There was supposed to be a mix of fruit (kiwi, strawberries, etc.), but instead they only brought us strawberries, which was a bit disappointing compared to expectations. The price is a bit high, but considering it's Valentine's Day, I can easily understand that. The real downside, however, is the seating: tables were too crowded together, with people constantly passing by and the risk of jostling, which somewhat spoiled the atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful, fun, and enjoyable experience, even if it wasn't perfect. With a few more improvements to the space and desserts, it would easily be 5 stars.

06/02/2026: We tried to order delivery. 17 calls, each one saying it was busy; you have to stand behind the phone to get through. We finally get through to someone, who tells us the time "9:30-10:00 PM." We wait almost half an hour, the pizza doesn't arrive, we try again and it says busy again, 27 calls again. We're still waiting for the pizza; someone let us know when it's arriving! Hahahahaha.

30/12/2025: Before leaving, I couldn't miss a final dinner with my children... Adriana chose Trattoria San Giovanni, which never disappoints... The welcome, service, and food are always impeccable. For those seeking tradition and good, abundant, and delicious food, they offer all that and much more...

08/12/2025: Reheated food, unpresentable appetizer, tough meat, distracted staff, inattentive, even forgetting to bring what we had ordered... completely disconnected!

23/09/2025: Great find in Gela! We went on a Monday night and ordered two appetizers, two pasta dishes, and a main course (all made with fish and seafood). Each dish was exquisite, and the portions were very generous. A special mention goes to the staff, who were always very friendly. I would definitely go back!
