29/03/2024: The quality of the products is great. As you can see if you order the raw seafood appetizer. But when they try to cook it, then is when things start to go bad. It’s sad to see such beautiful seafood cooked as poorly as I saw today. I had a 1.200kg lobster with pasta, and it was chewy and bland. The pasta was good as expected in Italy, but the lobster died for no reason. The waitress was not very helpful and sure she didn’t want to be there. Didn’t try to help us at all. When she was weighting our lobster there was a cigarette package next to the scale. Maybe I’m being too critical, but in my opinion this is unacceptable. You see, the raw seafood platter showed us what to expect: the razor clams, such beautiful animal, seamed to had been opened with a machete, the flesh was completely destroyed. That’s a good preview of what the rest of the dinner was going to be like. Tourists like myself should be more prepared to eat bad food in Italy. We come here with such great expectations, but actually most of the restaurantes are terrible like this one. The only difference is that this one was specially expensive, something like 80 euros per capta. With this kind of money you expect something at least a little less amateur. This restaurant is an great example of what to avoid when in Sicily

28/03/2024: Small, hidden restaurant, but which offers a very good selection of fresh and well-cooked fish. It is located in Porto Empedocle, and is known primarily for its truly good lobster spaghettone. Various appetizers, served well. We did not have the opportunity to meet the owner as he was not present at the time But we were still served well by the waitress Anna Maria, who also gave us good advice, was very kind and available until the end. A restaurant that I recommend and that I will certainly return to! 🦞😋😘

21/04/2024: The owner is very kind, helpful and thoughtful. The dishes are good and plentiful. The super welcoming and familiar atmosphere. At the end of the meal he also offered us almonds and bitters. We will definitely be back!

04/04/2024: I'm not the type to write reviews....but a friend pointed out to me that some people had written very negative things and since I frequent this place I wanted to have my say. Waiting for an hour or more for the pizza has happened to me too...But if I arrive at 9.30pm and find my well-booked table at my disposal and I order one of the last ones, what do I expect? Let's talk about the fact that many times the rooms are completely full...The kindness of the owners and the friendliness of the staff together with the fresh taste of the food they prepare makes it all worth it in my opinion....in the end we go out and celebrate to stay in company so the time you wait is worth it to enjoy their dishes. As regards the payment of cards and cash, let's remember that bureaucracy has now put us in a corner and for those who have a business it is not easy to manage all this.. .

24/03/2024: ATROCE. WE FOUND VERY FEW WAITERS IN THE ROOM DESPITE THE NUMEROUS PEOPLE AT THE PARTY. EXTREMELY RUDE OWNERS. DUE TO A CREDIT CARD PROBLEM THEY BELIEVED THE CELEBRATE, PLACING HER EXTREMELY EMBARRASSABLE IN FRONT OF ALL THE GUESTS. DESPITE THE PAYMENT WHICH HAPPENED SHORTLY THERE. RUINED EVENING. UNPROFESSIONAL.

13/05/2024: Large choice of pastries at a reasonable price. The outside area is very nice.

04/05/2024: Typical Italian coffee shop with Sicilian sweets. I recommend canollo and baba (rum baba) with cappuccino.

05/04/2024: If you have already left Agrigento without passing through here, make a U-turn as soon as possible. Excellent food and good choice of beers. The Girgentano cunzo bread is notable.

14/03/2024: Sinceramente? Cercate altro a Sciacca e troverete di meglio statene certi!!! Locale semplice, da osteria, sinceramente non ho capito come mai i tovaglioli fossero di carta e il copri macchia in tessuto. Sardine a chiappa evitatatele assolutamente. Il primo con il pesto e le vongole l’unica nota mezza positiva della serata, dico mezza positiva perché il piatto in sè era molto ma molto sapido. La grigliata non vale assolutamente 25€ !!! (450gr) di pesce che a parer mio era congelato al 100% e non fresco, la pietanza conteneva una fetta di pesce spada, un calamaro e due gamberoni! Lasciava l’amaro in bocca!!! Neanche sui dolce ci siamo trovati bene.. Tiramisù fatto da loro,molto spumoso e da notare (come si vede anche in foto di altre persone) molto granulare al palato..il motivo? Cristalli di zucchero rispolverati in superficie da cacao amaro! Per non parlare del conto.. 65€ in 2, e non viene fornito lo scontrino con i vari prezzi per poter confrontare quanto riportato con il menu, coperto, ecc ecc.. Esperienza da non ripetere! In una parola.. EVITATELO

08/01/2024: Charming restaurant right on the old port. The internal room is original. The fish is very fresh and the dishes of a high standard. Friendly staff and fast service. I tried the starter, the first course, the second course and the dessert, all truly delicious. Highly recommended.

23/03/2024: I had the seafood pizza again, but this time the frozen flavor was very strong, especially the octopus and surimi. I removed part of the seasoning but in the end I was disappointed. I pointed this out to the guy but I didn't even get a response like I'm sorry or anything. I give 4 stars because the topping was not made by the pizza chef, but I was the one who had the dinner ruined. I'm sorry we were in a hurry to ask for another pizza.
