13/01/2026: A welcoming place with attentive and friendly wait staff. The food is very good and prepared with local ingredients. We had the classic pasta with clams and a generous sprinkling of bottarga, and then, after 30 years, we had the pleasure of enjoying a plate of fried anemones, which is worth the visit. The calamari were fresh, delicious, and very tender, cooked in rice flour batter, we were told. A very good side dish of artichokes and bottarga rounded out the meal. One small personal note: the spaghetti with clams, while good, would have been a little spicier. The price is reasonable for what we ate.

01/01/2026: Super professional, attentive, and kind staff. They even offered me a bowl of water for my dog. The dishes arrived on time and were, above all, delicious and well-cooked. Excellent ingredients, technique, and flavor. We'll be back!

06/01/2026: What can I say, it's not worth spending €42 to eat farmed fish that wasn't good at all, not to mention the sorbet, which tasted like lemon juice or dish soap, the coffee was burnt and the cuttlefish were hard and rubbery, inedible.

The dishes are a tribute to Sardinian tradition, prepared with the freshest ingredients and expertly presented. The fish is extraordinary: authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and generous portions. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in presenting each dish and the chef's ability to enhance the flavors without ever weighing you down. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. I highly recommend Il Caminetto to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable gastronomic experience in Cabras. I will definitely be back!

10/11/2025: We chose it because it has eels on the menu and were satisfied. There were eight of us and we were greeted kindly and cheerfully. Everything was delicious, well-cooked, and plentiful. We ordered something extra, and in fact, we had two mixed fried fish and calamari left over, which we asked to take away. Smiling and joking, the waiter echoed our joke: "Nothing goes to waste," and added that they used to have people to whom they gave the leftovers of customers who knocked in the morning asking for them, but now the customers ask for them too... This bitter joke doesn't detract from the quality of the restaurant: excellent table linens, cleanliness, and everything was excellent. 06/01/2026: Lunch for two, Epiphany Day, our first time. Everything was perfect, the food hot and fresh, portions large enough for two. The price was average, from appetizer to dessert, and the owner offered three rounds of amaro. We had a great time. Recommended.

17/09/2025: A lovely place, and extremely kind and welcoming staff. The food was truly delicious, both the spaghetti with clams and bottarga and the culurgiones with eggplant, ricotta, and cherry tomatoes.

16/09/2025: It started well with the appetizer, but then declined considerably. The German menu was unfortunately somewhat poorly translated. The thick slice of horse belly turned out to be a chewy, sliced-up mess. The mixed seafood only had three ingredients—a bit small for the price. Dessert was deliberately skipped.
