23/10/2025: This is a great, privately run restaurant in a very up and coming marina area. Well worth a visit. We were staying at the Janne e Sole resort about a 30 minute stroll away and visited the marina area to see if it had changed since our friends' visited it last year. What a transformation. The marina was almost full with pleasure boats, the commercial, harbour part is clearly busy and the quayside is now dotted with restaurants and cafes. Visit soon before the influencers get the place submerged in tourists. Anyway we were in Sardinia as a group to celebrate our friend's 60th birthday and when we saw this place we knew it would be an ideal, surprise party venue. Wifey spoke with the lady owner and we booked a table for the 12 of us for the Friday evening with an arrangement for Wifey and a few others to go in the afternoon and decorate our area. When they went in the afternoon the restaurant was closed. The lady explained they were on their afternoon break but kindly came down and let them in to put up the banners etc. Decor done they returned to the resort. At the start of the evening the lady owner called us and explained that when they opened the glass frontage of the restaurant the wind was blowing the decor about so they repositioned it to a table next to the rear wall. In the evening we all walked to the restaurant and they had done a great job with the decor and believe me, Wifey is a stickler! They had even added some balloons as well. The Birthday Girl was given her surprise and we sat down to eat. We ordered the obligatory champagne and our meals. The bubbles arrived and was, I am told, lovely. There was some confusion over our drinks order and delivery but it all worked out ok. When the starters arrived there was further confusion and bits missing, for example Wifey and I ordered the Calamari starter and Rissotto main but we only got one portion of each to share rather than one portion of both per person. The Sirloin Steaks were ordered with various cooking choices such as rare, well done etc. However when the steaks arrived en masse the waiters didn't know which was which so it was down to the diners to cut them open and hand them out. The food was fantastic despite these hiccups. Deserts were ordered and again there was a misunderstanding on what our friends thought was the rum baba in the desert display and what they received but, again, the deserts were lovely. The final wrinkle came when one of us ordered a dark rum and was given a dark liquid drink with a sprig of mint in it. When the older, white, male waiter was asked what it was he said it was Rum but it tasted like whisky, then he tried to say it was a Mojito, which, as you will know, is made with vodka and is a clear drink. When he was challenged about this he threw swore and stormed off into the kitchen from whence came an almighty clattering of dishes. One of the other two waiters who had been serving us immediately came out, apologised for their colleague's behaviour, took the drink away and returned with the right drink. It certainly gave us something to chat about on the walk back. We had a birthday cake presentation that the staff were brilliant with and played Happy Birthday in Italian over the sound system. Our friend was overjoyed. In conclusion the restaurant deserves 5 stars for the way the owner and her team accommodated us. The food was excellent as were the drinks. The two waiters were impeccable and were sorely let down by their rude colleague. The other tables were mainly parties of a pair or three covers and had no issues that I know of and the place has quite a quick turnaround of tables. Perhaps the 12 of us was just a little too much on that night but we did have a great time and will go back again. Thank you. La Risacca Angela and the rest of us loved her birthday party.

02/10/2025: A few days ago we went there for a dinner for two. I ordered grilled prawns. I got them with digestive track still under the shell. Unbelievable.

09/10/2025: The pizza was truly delicious, but the service and ambiance were a disaster. We had to go inside several times because no one was coming outside. Music was blaring unbearably loud from the speakers. A coperto for someone who didn't have a dish at all, and they didn't even offer the usual bread? Nope – they need to improve this.

05/10/2025: After trying various pizzerias, I've finally found a top-notch pizza and pizzeria. Taste is subjective, but I encourage you to try it. We order pizza from them once a week. The dough is well-leavened and doesn't cause stomach problems, and the toppings are generous. Helpful staff, fantastic service. Well done.

10/10/2025: Typical Sardinian dinner at "Agriturismo Sorres" in the hills near Budoni... Delicious appetizers, spectacular first courses, and the tender and flavorful suckling pig was the best I've ever eaten. We'll definitely be back!

01/08/2025: Ho prenotato il maialino la sera prima e al ritiro assisto allo sporzionamento, faccio notare che la cotenna è bruciata e il macellaio mi dice che è il colore della cottura, (nero carbone) rimango basito della risposta come se fossi uno sprovveduto che non riconosce il cotto o ben cotto dal bruciato, insisto con il ripetere che è bruciato e che non lo voglio, a quel punto un po’ scocciato mi elimina il pezzo dicendo che se lo sarebbe mangiato lui dopo, ( infatti e’ finito nel pattume). Visto che mi è stato detto che il maialino va mangiato tutto compreso cotenna, beh questa era immangiabile perché dura come la suola. La carne era invece tenera ma senza infami e senza lodi, patate al forno bocciate. Sicuramente non mi rivedrete.

03/09/2025: The restaurant is a bit out of the way and may seem a bit unassuming, but we had a very good meal there. The service was very friendly and helpful. Our lack of language skills wasn't a problem. We'd love to come back!

02/10/2025: A lovely place, yet somewhat hidden, perhaps due to its elevated location that obscures the dining room. The owner is top-notch, full of energy and passionate about what she offers. She accommodated my request with an excellent alternative. Dinner for three included marinated salmon, two seafood fregole pasta dishes, local shrimp, and grilled calamari. The latter were incredibly tender! Once discovered, I'll definitely return for the family atmosphere and to try other dishes. Prices are in line with the offerings and average compared to other restaurants.

05/10/2025: Highly recommend this place for its pasta - here you’ll find great value for money. We ordered fresh fettuccine with seafood as well as linguine with red prawn - both were incredible and exceeded our expectations. The waiters were kind and professional and even helped me surprise my guy with a tiramisu for his birthday. Grazie mille!

09/10/2025: Experience of 09/27/25 We entered the restaurant for lunch and waited a few minutes before anyone even noticed us. After they seated us, they brought us menus, and the waitress came to the table after we promptly called her over! We clearly understood that she didn't appreciate our calling her over; in fact, she was taking the order by running a pen through her hair, which, in my opinion, is not good manners! But we still hadn't seen anything.... Once we ordered, ten minutes later they brought us our first course, and shortly afterward it started raining heavily. A friend of mine told a waitress that it was raining inside and that we were getting wet. We were then asked to move our tables ourselves, while the waitress stared at us blankly! My friend called the waitress again to point out that the people sitting at the back of the room, near the edge of the street, were getting wet and that it would be a good idea to close the awning! Luckily, a waiter comes to close the curtain, while my husband gets up to close the window, which was still open, as it was still raining inside! Things return to normal, and at that moment the power goes out! Crazy, it felt like we were in a movie, even raining from the roof!!! We wait almost an hour for the main courses, after repeatedly asking for them... we finally finish lunch and go to the cashier, but for what I ate, it was very expensive, especially after the cashier was particularly rude! Furthermore, we relied on TheFork reviews and the advertised discount, which we didn't get because we had to pay with their card, which we didn't have. In the following days, we visited other restaurants in the area, and the service and prices were definitely more reasonable! I strongly advise you not to avoid a place like this! I'm attaching a photo of the roof!!!!
