The best spaghetti carbonara I've ever had!
However, like many restaurants in Sardinia, the dining rooms are large and noisy. But that's just our French perspective!
08/07/2026: A peaceful atmosphere and good, friendly service. The food was delicious; we were eager to try the typical Sardinian pasta and we loved it. The mussels were also very tasty.
They were quite busy, but the service was still quick and helpful. We highly recommend it and will definitely return if we're ever in the area again!

21/06/2026: We had lunch today at this splendid farmhouse, in a large air-conditioned room. The food was excellent and plentiful, everything was excellent, and the staff were attentive to every request. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!
05/05/2026: We arrived unannounced on 28/3 late in the afternoon after cycling from Cagliari and wondered if there was a possibility to stay overnight. They were hesitant if it was possible because it was early in the season. They conjured up two rooms and we asked if there was a possibility to get some food and of course they could fix some cheese and ham which we welcomed, it didn't end with just cheese and ham we got meat, offal and vegetables their red wine was delicious. They conjured up a fantastic breakfast the next day. Very nice accommodation with all the animals on the farm.
We felt very welcome.

26/06/2026: Terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend anyone returning to this restaurant.
After over an hour of waiting, our dishes arrived, but the quality was truly poor: the pasta was overly salty, and another dish had a strong taste of soap and spoiled fish. The rice was also hard and undercooked.
Furthermore, the order of one of our guests wasn't taken, forcing her to wait even longer while the others had already received their dishes.
When we reported the problems, the chef came out to the dining room, claiming the food was good, ignoring our concerns.
When it came time to get the bill, we went to the cashier intending to pay for the appetizers we'd consumed, but we were also charged for all the first courses, which had been brought back to the kitchen practically untouched because they were inedible.
The experience was further worsened by the owner's attitude: arrogant, unwilling to listen, and completely incapable of engaging in constructive dialogue or accommodating the customer.
A very disappointing experience from every point of view.

12/07/2025: Siamo stati ieri sera in questo locale, per una toccata e fuga e ne siamo usciti davvero soddisfatti! La pizza ottima, impasto leggero, ben cotta e ingredienti freschi e di qualità. Superlativa la Frutti di Mare!! L'ambiente è accogliente e pulito. Le ragazze in sala sono state cordiali e attente a gestire ogni nostra richiesta. Torneremo sicuramente!!
11/07/2025: Frequento questo ristorante da diverso tempo, premetto che mi sono sempre trovato bene, ottimo cibo, buon servizio, buoni prezzi. Mercoledì non sono stato bene: individuato il nostro tavolo, a causa di un climatizzatore portatile che indirizzava l'aria proprio su di noi, abbiamo chiesto di poter usufruire della sala accanto, non per un capriccio ma per motivi di salute: la risposte della cameriera e' stata infelice; certamente ma di certo non vi accendero' l'aria condizionata. Da questo momento tanti atteggiamenti che manifestavano poco gradimento per la nostra presenza. Il cibo era buonissimo, come sempre, i tempi di attesa ottimi, come sempre, il servizio dalla cucina ottimo. Scrivo questa recensione ricollegandomi a quella del mio amico e commensale e alle repliche infelici da lui ricevute. Una giornata negativa può capitare, si chiarisce non c'è alcun problema. Ma quando si è in torto, non ci si accanisce con tono accusatorio; mercoledì ci siamo trovati tutti malissimo.

22/05/2025: It's a shame it's closed. It was an excellent restaurant, excellent food, excellent location. From 1986 to 2011, Villacidro was my favorite vacation spot. I loved this place and this restaurant, and I'm so sorry to see everything change for the worse. I wish you all the best with all my heart. Raffaele Hallecker
